Scoria doesn't rush in like Bel'Tanis, staying close to the assigned leader of the group, peering around carefully for anything out of place - looking for movement or any small creature that may be hiding in the shadows.

Notick cocks an eyebrow at everyone's odd behavior. He, somewhat condescendingly, clears his throat before speaking -- making sure to be loud enough for Bel'Tanis to hear. "I do believe the woman said the goblin had receded back down the hole within the closet." He runs a hand through his hair, straightening it a bit, "One would assume they were digging a tunnel to something, and ended up here instead. I wouldn't worry about the Goblin's being within the home still - they're natively easily frightened, especially when they're a lone goblin."

With that, Notick casually proceeds into the home, hiding his own anxiety of the situation. He, of course, remembers his spells for the day - just in case he must react quickly.

Scoria, under advisement from the sergeant, takes a 5ft step back, her back to the bedroom door. The distance is too great for her to tumble her way past the door, especially since she was already injured. She readies herself though, to fight by attacking in full force should the goblin attempt to come out after her.

20ft movement speed means she can only move 10ft using Acrobatics, so she wouldn't be able to move far enough to get out into the room without incurring an AoO. Taking a 5ft step to I8 instead. If the Goblin comes after her, she's readying a flurry when it moves into threatened range. At least here we can pin it in a flanking maneuver should it try attacking Scoria again.

The Rusty Dragon

Banged up, bloodied and a bit bruised the party reunites back at the Rusty Dragon. Ameiko and her staff are preparing the boar for dinner. When sudden a middle age Tian man dressed in richly appointed garments bursts through the door in a huff.

He demands to see his daughter, Ameiko.

"Ameiko, owning this bar fantasy has gone on long enough. I do not understand your need to fraternize with commoners. Certainly your Mother's influence no doubt. So you will sell this house of gluttony and return to Maginmar with me. Begin to make your arrangements tomorrow. I will not take no for answer."

Ameiko looks a bit stunned, "Father you do not own me, this is my establishment. I will run it if I damn well please."

Bleeding, Bel'Tanis politely interrupts, "Excuse me, forgive my interruption. I could use some hot water and bandages if that's not too much trouble, Ameiko. More goblins troubling the townsfolk, unfortunately." He nods respectfully to her father then, "Sir."

He walks slowly up the stairs, a blood-soaked cloth held tightly to a stomach wound. He nods to Khrondak and Midori as he passes, "You both look well," and though his smile is genuine, it is also weak.

It wasn't any concern of hers to get involved in her family's affairs - not unless the confrontation turned violent. "If either of you are capable, some of us require healing, please," She asks them.

Just a concern, but when are we getting our next batch of XP?

Minkaian:
"Greetings, Uncle. I am Midori Masaki, daughter of your late wife's sister. I am honored to finally meet you."

Male Human Whiteblade Magus of Iomedae 4 (AC: 14 (18 w/shield) [T: 10 FF: 14 (18)] | HP: 34/34 | F+5, R+0, W+4 | Init: +2 |Perc: +0/+2 with blade drawn)

Thaddeus doesn't even consider speaking up, it was hard enough to get his father to accept the path he had taken, it is something that is best dealt with by family.

He instead makes his way around passing out the shares of the spoils that everyone had earned.

In case anyone missed it/didn't add it to their character, the share is 110gp each.
