Well it seems that you are correct.

at the T the hallways goes both directions as far as can be seen; those with darkvision can see that there are several openings along the two halls that could be other halls or inset doorways.

within 60' to the right if facing down the hall; one opening can be seen each left and right about 30' away; and another to the right about 45 ft away.

withing 60' to the left; one opening can be seen left 30' away; then another on the right if you were facing down that hall; 45' down.

I move down the left hall till I reach the opening that is on the left of that hall. I pier into the opening to see if it is a doorway or hall. Spot 12(9 ranks + 3 stats)+12=24 , Hide 13(9 ranks + 4 stats)+12= 25, Listen 12(9 ranks + 3 stats)+13=25, Move Silently 13(9 ranks + 4 stats)+17=30

He looks at Nebibit, and manages to meet her eyes steadily, if not firmly. He manages a half-smile and says in feline;

Nebibit shrugs a little before responding In feline

Nebibit pauses for a second not sure if she should say any more before deciding to continue in feline

Astinos shakes his head in resigned amusement at the dwarf's obstinacy. And looks toward the approaching Kemnebi

Ah; am thinking about who said what and when considering posting order not to be necessarily when actions happen; am thinking grymbol walks out; the drow ignore your guys exchange and follow with thier own comments; then you finish drinking and follow them meeting the Pally about 20' beyond the normal door.

Well, i am thinking the hall is just not wide; seems the pally and dwarf are probably in the middle and your more or less following behind Kosan; so since it doesnt seem to matter much; I would think you all move down the fairly long hall to where Thronhen and Decidio are possibly waiting.

Kemnebi takes the wand back from the raven, but simply puts it away up one sleeve with a melancholy look on his feline features. He starts as the raven begins to whisper his opinions and advice into his ear, but doesn't seem otherwise surprised or upset at the offering. He nods as Kalona finishes.

"Thank you Kalona. I, I'll think about it. Although I guess if,... I probably shouldn't wait too long." He mumbles. He manages a half-hearted smile at the unusual raven. "Thank you." He repeats simply with an attempt at a smile. Hathor, his familiar, is also watching Kolana very closely. Although this time she doesn't seem to be regarding him as a meal, but watches the raven through half-lidded eyes with a speculative look on her face.

Kemnebi is distracted by the antics of the tiny kitten attacking the fringe of his robe. He reaches down and gently untangles the kitten's claw and lifts it up. He peers at it thoughtfully as it bats at the end of his whiskers, making him sneeze. Kemnebi then turns to look at Hathor, who looks back, does a double take, and wide-eyed shakes her head in the definitely negative. Twice. When Kemnebi doesn't say anything, she places her paw on top of her head and pulls downward on her face in a very humanoid gesture. With a resigned feline sigh she waves her paw at him in a 'go ahead' gesture. Kemnebi smiles and rubs his head against his familiar, whispering, "You're the best Hathor!"

Hathor pushes him away and swipes at his ear, but seems somewhat mollified, and even a little smug, as the magus places the kitten into one of his pockets. He gives it a bit of a ration and pats it one last time.

He looks at Nebibit, and manages to meet her eyes steadily, if not firmly. He manages a half-smile and says in feline;

He travels down the hallway with the others, until or unless stopped by something or someone,... He notices the impassioned speech between Kosan and Astinos and looks as if he is...

hehe; just reread the much earlier comments of Kosan's drink, dinner and a show; but lol; you guys havent had breakfast yet.

well; you cannot really see very well; no light source; but you can follow the wall a bit and find an inset door; there is a short 10' deep cubby then a the heavy style armored door.

Listening; you dont hear anything behind the door; but you can hear the echo of the parties heated exchange in the hall pretty clearly. Is it enough to wake the dead; stay tuned :)

and yes; the door is locked.

Not in mindlink, so somebody will have to let me know the request. However, she would be happy too as long as there is enough room for flying.

Kemnebi looks solemn, but downcast at Astinos words. He makes no reply other than to shake his head in agreement before continuing on.

At Nebibit's replies, he looks more thoughtful than chastised. At length he replies in Feline;

He gives Nebibit another weak grin. But there is a depth of appreciation in his eyes.

He spends a few moments as the others juggle about in the hallway. He is paying attention to what is happening, but he is also obviously thinking hard, and keeps reaching into his pocket to assure himself that the kitten is still there. When Kalona is asked to fly and take a look down the hallway, he firms his jaw as if he has made a decision.

“To the left of the ‘ghost’ room there is an intersection 200' away. One can continue on down the hallway or turn left and right. They seem to extend 120' in all directions.

"Likewise there is also an intersection to the right of the ghost door 200' away with a painting at the end that I cant make out in the dark. It forms a ‘T’ with the right going 120' to some stairs and the left continuing on at least 120’."

"There are also 3 doors in addition to the ghost door and the one Thorenhen is in front of but prior to the intersections. I did not see any doors after the intersections.”

After that she returns to her skeleton's shoulder and watches the group, making sure to periodically check behind her, cocking her head to listen for sounds of any pursuit.

My sister May is not here; she is on a task far far away. I can reach her of course, but know not why you would wish to speak to her, she does not know you and her temperment is very mild; she would not like this group.

I thought that MAY was what we were calling her sister, Decidio, Astinos' friend, the blond one? Kemnebi asked for her because he thought that he might ask her advice before he talked to JUNE. But she pretty much already gave it, so that's alright,... So no, I was NOT asking to talk to JUNE and calling her the wrong name! (I'm no genius, but I ain't stoopid!) ;P

Wow, rough week, and a lot to catch up on. Memorial Day weekend was fun, but we've had a series of storms this week, some of them bad, that have played havoc with my internet connection. There's another storm on the horizon, but I'm back for now.

Namaste looks wistfully at Kemnebi. Like him, she is young and her experience in matters of the heart is limited. She has made her share of mistakes, sometimes the jilter, and sometimes the jilted. So she feels a certain kinship to the young cat mage, and perhaps even moreso because though they are of opposite sexes, the objects of their keenest interest are both female, so they have both inherited the same set of responsibilities, in a sense. She is a woman herself, but Namaste's romantic responsibility is to a woman as well, so she knows well the confusion that Kemnebi must be feeling. She's been the jilted lover, but she's also been the one who did the jilting, and perhaps more than most women, she is in a position to relate to Kemnebi's side of that coin.

Kemnebi: "Yes, you may talk to Decidio [March, I believe we're calling her] privately if you wish. I will see that those thoughts are channeled only to her. And if you wish to contact June and speak privately with her, I will see if I can find her still in the mindlink. And though I am young like yourself, I may be able to offer a bit of advice, for what it is worth. First, do not make excuses for your error, admit that you made a mistake and that you want to make amends. But at the same time, project strength and be assertive, do not fawn like a mewling kitten."

Giving Kemnebi's shoulder a gentle squeeze, Namaste moves over to Kosan or Astinos, whoever is nearest.

Kosan and Astinos: "You are both very brave, very proud, and very stubborn men. Everyone in this group has strengths and weaknesses. We are still learning what those are and how one person's strength may balance out another's weakness. The two of you need to learn when bravery and stubborness is a strenth, and when they are a weakness. The two of you are the strong arms of this body of ours, and if you cannot work together, it will spell doom for the lot of us. Might I suggest the two of you spend some of our down time while we travel, getting to know each other, sharing your tales, learning each other's stories? When the both of you can look at the other and see who stands before you, not merely what stands before you, I suspect you'll find you're far more alike than you know. And when I say share your stories, I don't mean just your bragging rights, you're both far more than just the sum of your battles. Swinging swords and axes, cleaving the heads of enemies makes you warriors, but something else makes you men."

the door is locked; looks well used, but not used any time recently. You are able to readily pick the lock; the door is still closed. No traps evident at this time.

hehe nice, just a note of caution for everyone really, when doing editorial in story format; be cautious when saying what other characters can and cant do without discussing it with them; this is a minor issue; doubt Namaste cares at this point; but saying before she can act and like that might cause arguements so though this sort of stuff doesnt matter much to me; all good story; just deal tenderly with other character's players as we all care about our characters and have egoes. Probably more than enough said, but just wanted to put it out there.

Astinos considers Namaste's word then moves back into position behind Decidio and ThoronHen.

Hearing Kalona's description of the area. (Seeing the map Val emailed... )In a low voice. I think it will be a good idea to keep watch at the T section where the stairwell heads down. I will keep guard that way. Would the Jewel like to accompany me? I will keep in contact in the mindlink. I move silently down the right part of the hallway d20=18+6=24. Once at the intersection I will use my tracking to see if I notice anything out of place. d20=12+7=19.

Per Val, the distances to the left and right hallways are measured from Namaste's position, so the main central hallway is actually about 400' long. Distances noted in the corners of the map are measured from their respective intersections. Since none of us are cartographers, I'm assuming those distances are probably not exact, but just what we estimate them to be.

that would be correct; the distance is a guess by Kalona if all the brickwork is approximately the same disregarding various breaks like expansion joints or change is height or whatnot.

Mostly he is worried about our timeline and how we have not ranged very far, but thinks we need to all make a pact to stand by each other no matter what and hang together or divided we shall all hang seperately.

I for my part; though I feel the most affinity for Astinos, will do my best to serve and stand by each of you until we fulfill our obligation to save the sister of Apollo and thwart this current threat to the Sun. I listen to The Jewels, and Decidio's words. In the Mindlink I acknowledge and bear witness.

I give a solemn amount of silent before I speak again in the Mindlink.

Being an elf; I have a different perspective on the world than most. Laws, and oaths mean little. They fade away in time just like the civilizations that built them. But Oaths of brotherhood formed out of blood, and tears. Those bonds are eternal. They carry on in our hearts, and minds. They will live on in the hearts of others. Stories of such unity, and mortal spirit against all odds. Those are the stories that are passed down to your children and your childrens children.

Fighting the Gnoll was the first time "We" fought together, and not against one other. Lets learn from that. I have lost almost everything dear to me in life. In that battle we shared blood. That is a bond no one can take away from us. Its something unique and can be cherished til we visit our graves. Brotherhood. Astinos, Kosan, we are battle brothers. Every fight we fight after this first will only tighten this bond. Just like when June threw herself in front of the Shadow to protect Kemnebi formed a bond. Its something special they now both share and can never be taken away. Its everlasting.

More of a pause. There is more than just the Demon Prince who controls slimes, jellies and other monstrosities. There is a Lesser God of my people named Ghaunadaur. He is dispised by us. Yet his cult remains. A master of oozes, slimes, and outcasts. He has recently rised in power since the Revenancer has made her bid for power. He seeks revenege against my people. It is possible my presence along with the Doom, draws his attention here. It is also possible these jellies and such are simply raised here to keep the hallways clean. I know not which.

I will state again. Since most of you were not with this group when I said it. I have lost almost everything dear to me. The Devour and its legions took it all. All I own is what I carry one me. I have no home to return to. There is no afterlife for me. When I die my spirit will float like chaff in the wind til some demon or something worse devours it. I will fight the enemy. There is no rest for me. This is my bond of blood and tears I am willing to share.

Kemnebi looks at Namste as she speaks with the look of a wet kitten. But seems to take heart at her words as he did from Nebibit's. He nods his thanks. He also listens to the words of The Jewel, and MArch got her name right this time! with a furrowed feline brow. He looks up at the slight 'click' of Thorenhen undoing the lock on the door, and then back to the others.

"I know nothing of blood brothers, and little of battle it would seem. But I will happily accept your word on the truth of such things. I joined this quest not only to help, but to prove something to myself as well. I WILL make sure that the sun-god's sister is set free. I pledge this on my power. And if this 'doom' or anything else should try to stop me,... Well. Cat's have 9 lives. Just TRY to stop me!" He declares with an intensity that he hasn't displayed before and grins wickedly.

To june, through the mindlink, he states,...

Kemnebi shakes his fur flat, and looks at his familiar on his shoulder. She is looking at him with an odd look on her kitty face. Finally she gets herself back into her usual position on his shoulder and settles in, hanging onto the heavy fabric of his robe with her claws.

Kemnebi steps up to Nebibit and readies his staff, pointing it at the door.

""Let's go save a goddess!" HE whispers to Nebibit.

in mindlink I also agree with this as I have taken an oath to this quest. Though I have already been split up with others who are part of this quest. We split up to better facilitate the success of this quest. I propose that we add a 3rd part of this agreement: That if the success of the mission necessitates it that we allow one or more to leave to pursue their separate parts of our quest.
