Welcome everyone, thank you very much for joining in this adventure.
First I'd like everyone to tell me what they expect from the game (either through here or a private message) so I can try to meet your hopes.
And now, to the meat:
If you don't mind I'd like your posts both on the OOC thread and the IC thread to be made with your Alias to avoid making things confusing.
About the DM rolls:
I do most dice rolls in the open. I just keep for myself those for NPC's bluff checks and for those characters I don't want you to know their stats (main NPCs mostly) I also prefer to do your Sense Motive rolls if you don't mind, you just call for a roll and I make it and tell you if you find something out. I think this helps the mistery and makes for a more enjoyable experience but I'm open to suggestions.
On the IC thread sometimes I'll post things like :
I do this to speed things up, so you don't have to wait for me to answer after your rolls, I trust you won't have a look if you didn't pass the check, and if you do yo will be able to keep Player Knowledge and Character Knowledge separate.
About the writing IC:
I personally favour present tense, the usual Bold for talk, Italics for thoughts, Bigger for shouting, Smaller for whispering, and spoilers with the language name for things said in a language other than common.
And I hate @anybodys... I don't think "writing says X to Y" is so much effort

Great. Thanks DM.
Kleth would like to make is way North to Shade Enclave at some point, other than that no expectations as I like to take adventures as they come from the DM.
Edit: just realized I posted southbound. Will dot Northbound.

Cuàn here.
Only thing I still have to do is stat up the eidolon. I'm thinking of grabbing the quadruped baseform and at least the tentacle mass evolution.
Initial thought would be that it looks like a strangely colored lion if seen from a distance. Upon closer inspection it would become obvious that the mane isn't just hair but also contains many tentacles, it's mouth contains three rows of teeth, akin to a shark, and it actually has five eyes. It's coat would be the same purplish grey that the skin of grey orcs tends to be.
It'll probably get weirder as it gets stronger.

Hallo!
I think your posting rules are good, but question. I don't usually say "@person", instead I'll put what I say to a person in a spoiler box with their name on it (particularly if it's an aside or whispered or whatever). Is that fine?
Kyli Kanan
I'm here. Thanks for the invite. I am looking forward to an uptempo style game.
PC-wise, because there are no knightly orders of Angharradh, she may dip into a Paladin variant down the line.

For the first I don't really mind which one it is. I myself have no clue how we would have met up though.
As for the name, I'd rather not be named or at least not yet. I tend to find naming an adventuring party a rather silly thing. Besides, if we are a freshly formed group it would be rather premature.

Reporting in!
For a name, how about "The Cloudbreakers"
What, no? Ok, fine. "The Kegslayers."
For a lvl2 party it's likely our greatest victory yet and how we met.
Vaelen Strongbow
@DM_Keddah: Please figure out how we met...
As for the name I think Khaz is on to something...
"Ratbane", "Dire Rats", "Pied Pipers of Arranbar", "Oleg's Ratmen",
I like "Kegslayers" since we did save the Kegs by slaying rats. Something with the words 'Rats, Piss and Beer' would be cool but not sure how to fit it together...
Mazhir Ketamet
I think as a just-starting-out group a name is premature, I think it's reasonable for adventuring types to not want their company to be "formal" until they're certain the group can/will further their goals. Let's adventure for a bit, get to know each other, and figure out something fitting from our personalities, deeds, etc.
Jovar Dohain
A name like "Ratbane" will, no matter how fun now, haunt you later. How can anyone take you seriously with a name like that? Kegslayer is even worse, it'll make people assume you are a bunch of drunks.
I still think we should delay naming until we have more to go on. For now we are just some random people anyway.
Jovar Dohain
That still doesn't change how taking a name would be rather premature if we all only just met.
In addition, I'd say Jovar would find a name like Ratbane or Kegslayers rather demeaning (the latter particularly as he doesn't drink, alcohol brings out the nightmares).
Vaelen Strongbow
The Elf is very diplomatic to the right people :)
Imagine a Goblin trying to make friends with a Xenophobic Dwarf...won't go so well.
When the snob snubs me then tells me he serves a human who claims dominion over MY forest, it's not going to go so well. :P
Not trying to rip apart the plot but it makes no sense to Vaelen. So what if some Petty Human Noble wants to send money to an Inn. It's not like the money is coming out of the 'High King's pocket or something. He claims it's his domain and wants us to investigate but if we're caught, he knows nothing.
Vaelen thinks it's his mission to keep tabs on the humans around the Forest anyway so he's happy to do it no matter how ridiculous it sounds to him. I"m half expecting him to end up in jail for insulting his royal highness but Vaelen doesn't understand that.
Tirade finished...lol

I'm back! Sorry for the delay but I'm out of the desert and back with connection

Round 2
With the creature stunned, Laijiri's pair of attacks were ruined by a sudden shifting of the ship in the storm, her ruined balance causing both to miss terribly, as she stumbled from the impact of a wave. 'Not good at all!', she thought as she tried to regain solid footing.

Flurry 2: 1d20 ⇒ 1, Crit Fail?: 1d20 ⇒ 13Hit stunned target?
I usually don't use Crit Fails/Fumbles in PbP games. So it's just a standard miss.

Apologies for not saying something sooner, but my wife & I will be traveling around Europe before our visa ends, starting on Monday (June 19) and going until July 12 when we get back stateside.
My posting rate will probably drop precipitously, feel free to bot me. Mazhir will mostly rely on his Invisibility (he has six more uses of up to a minute each) for today, for healing or buffing or occasional attacks. Outside of combat he'll try to rely on his excellent Diplomacy skill whenever possible.
Calamys
I will be traveling from tomorrow night through Sunday night and am unlikely to post during this time; please bot me as needed.

No worries, Keddah. I hope all turns out well for the family.
