I have nothing else to get here.

Last Will:
I, Mathurin Kerbouchard, being of sound mind do take up the pen to write my last will and testament. In the event of my death I leave all my worldly possessions to my mother who lives in Cassomir in the admiral's fen district.

Male Orc Ranger (Freebooter) 1 Rogue (Pirate) 2

Graskkator bought a few books and got people to buy more ale, wine and food for the voyage

Last Will:
A plain white envelope sealed with a unadored wax seal, inside is a piece of fine paper carefully folded to hide anything written. The paper itself is however blank and nothing have ever been written on it.

"Aye, I agree to that task", Elwood confirms to Delmar. "Now, about that Last Will..."

Last Will:
I, Elwood Markley, do hereby leave all my worldly possessions to the orphans and widows of the guards of Saltport. The brave men and women of the city watch have sacrificed their lives for generations so that civilization may maintain is tenious grip on the rough coast, to them I give all that I have.

Male Human Oracle of Maitre Mer 3

Having finished writing Elwood's last will he hands it across for him to make his mark and collects his own giving it to a crew member to take ashore.

Last Will:
I, Delmar, do hereby loan all my worldly possessions to the ship and crew I was aboard when I died. Further I would ask that when these possessions are finished with that they are returned to their true owner the Great Ocean, Maitre Mer. The only exception is that I ask that the letter in the bottom of my backpack is delivered if that is possible.

"Now Master Markley are you ready to jump into the water?"

Once Elwood give his consent Delmar will cast 2 spells first resulting in Delmar's feet becoming flippers and webbing between his fingers and second doing the same to Elwood. Touch of the sea. Delmar then dives into the water and checks the bottom of the ship for any damage or potential problems.

The following day Mathurin reports to Grask to prepare to sail.

"Captain. I have made any preparations that I need and am ready to make sail. At your command."

When Grask acknowledges him he will make his way to the poop deck and wait for departure time.

The next morning "Captain, Mr Swurn did not return to the ship this morning. Ox Balgeson reported seeing him board another ship and all his personal stuff is gone." Gm if you are unhappy with this I'll retcon it but thought it wasn't unlikely given the situation.

Actually, this is the sort of thing I love.

The captain nods

"Not unexpected, very well prepare the ship to leave and let the brave sail forth, leaving the cowards behind."

Winds often bear the faint hint of adventure, born aloft by the breeze and carried throughout the world.

The very wind that now drives the sails of your proud vessel forward towards the mists leading off into the unknown.

As the morning sun soon rises into a noontime position, the world seems to stand still, except for the Mistwall coming ever closer.

Sailors pray on their knees and soon, your ship passes through the mist...

You emerge on the other side of the mists...

Yet, the sun hangs low in the sky, almost sunset. The ocean behind you, showing no trace of mists, and no recognizable features, islands or shapes to be seen.

A gull sporting black plumage drifts overhead, swooping lazily around the ship.

All eyes turn to the Officers (you), awaiting a sign, an answer, a reassurance.

Rodrigo can be seen haunting his favorite spot near the bowsprit, he stares out into the empty ocean impassively.

Are the parrots still with us?

No parrots

:(

Rodrigo will turn to one of the sailors and with a blank expression on his face say, "It seems even the parrots have abandoned us." before turning back to staring impassively at the endless blue before them.

Just waiting on everyone else, to see how they react and what course of actions will be taken. We'll most likely be switching to posting 1 per 2 days thanks to my job... teaching kids 8-12 how to play D&D!

Mathurin spots the gull and says: "Ah, the uncharted regions! This is what I live for."

He then looks about at the crew with an excited look and says:

"Think of the tales we will take back to civilization. That and the treasures! Lands never before seen and cultures never before heard of. This is what we prepared for. Lets see this day out with a song. Pickles, give us a tune!"

Male Orc Ranger (Freebooter) 1 Rogue (Pirate) 2

GRaskator moves up from cabin, stretches and draws a deep breath then looks around at the crew's faces.

"Well what are you all standing around for, it's now that the adventure begin, we ahve all been sleeping protected in our mother's arms and now it's time to go stretch our legs, lets get to work so we can find those riches before we run out of ale."

The captain narrow his eyes at the crew for a moment then heads up on the poop deck and smiles tooth-filled smile to Mr. Kerbouchard and comments

"This is were life and legends begins, find us a course that will make it a good one."

Male Human Oracle of Maitre Mer 3

Delmar calls out the crews with a good dash of tongue in cheek "You heard the captain, now get to back to work slackers. The world seems much the same on this side as the other they even have seagulls here." Grinning Delmar starts moving amongst the crew giving the sense of confidence.

The seas around you are unknown to your trained eyes.

The waves crash against the ship, beating like the heart of some deep ocean leviathan.

Nevertheless, the skies are clear and the tiniest glimpse of land can be seen far off in the distance.

No smoke rises from the spit of earth, and no sounds can be heard.

Male Human Fighter 2 / Gunslinger 1

"Now that's a sight! Lads, get yer gear ready, the unknown is just ahead!"

The big man starts securing his armor and weapons, excited for the prospect of landfall, but wary of the sea bound threats that could be hiding in the land's shadow.
