Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

I can wait a week, but I'm afraid we'd lose players if we sit on it too long.

He's just a box.

Well, seeing as there's only a couple, what harm is there?

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Yeah, I'm not sure it's much of a risk with only the four of us.

Action Figure

Sorry about that. She's home and recuperating now.

The Exchange

M

glad to hear everything's okay, Droid

Action Figure

Thanks

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Good to have you back Droid, glad everything seems to have worked out.

I'll work up a post soon.

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

can I use Exaggerate on a light source? I know this is more Lie turf, but a super solar beam'd come in handy right now.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

I'll offer a compromise: if you roll well enough you can create a soft light source, but you'll need to use your major action every round to maintain it and it won't have the blinding effect of true light.

The Exchange

M

something to consider then!

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

I'll wait a little longer to see if Klutzy will try and generate a light source or not as it will change what you all see during this next round (obviously).

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

I thought we were still on round one.

I have no ideas how to generate a light source on my own behalf, but I can say something silly to help, sure. :D

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

I thought you wanted to use exaggerate to create light?

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

my round one action was to exaggerate to help out Boxy box.

My round two action'll be light oriented, if Droid has a working headlight, sure :D

Action Figure

Do I have any lighting he could use?

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

In vehicle mode you have a miniature headlight. There is also the lamp in the room.

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

The lamp seems busted now that it got swiped at.

Can I dodge the effect?

If you were able to see what was happening to you, yes. But since that isn't the case you are unable to dodge the entanglement.

It certainly seems that way, but not something a little Toy ingenuity couldn't fix! (I'd take Lie, Exaggerate, or Forge. Or, failing that, you could always try turning it on normally again).

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

okay then, I'll do that. I'll go ahead and post my round two action.

He's just a box.

I may be intermittent for a bit. My hard drive died and I'll have to be rebuilding a lot of stuff.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Do what it takes, we'll be around.

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

As I understand it, to keep the light on, I need to sustain it with my major. Now as I have no more uses of exaggerate left, do you just want me to handwave any rolls, or roll with the same dice, or maybe it lessens in power every turn? I honestly haven't much in the way of actions right now, which is fine. I'm a big helper :D

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

In this case the Light has power to it without your assistance (I don't think anyone actually checked after Droid used it the first time, my bad if it wasn't clear). So you don't need to do anything to keep it on, it just adds an extra razamataz as the kids say. If you want to keep boosting it a la Alan Wake then you need to sacrifice your Major Action every round, but otherwise no more rolls or resources are necessary on your part. If you do end up dropping it, you'd have to use exaggerate to get it going again.

Female Pint-Size Pony Stuffed Animal

well, I won't be surprised if I drop it, given my name at all.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Congratulations everybody. I'll give you a little more time to post before I put up an epilogue.

Spooky Skeleton Scarecrow

Hope you all enjoyed the game, and I hope that it is something you'll add to your gaming library.

Thanks to any lurkers who stuck around to read.

Thanks for the game everyone!

I do intent to play it again, thanks for running it, hope everyone had a good time, I know I did!

He's just a box.

I do like the system for a quick, lite focused game. Best to everyone!
