Indeed, my apologies for the delays. Life has been a bit busy with convention stuff on Monday and Pathfinder Society last night. Nothing like running around as a dwarf and beating people up with a rope. No one expects the rope.

I honestly doubt that this character has been to Riddleport considering his druid status and fondness for deserts, unless I'm mistaken in believeing that Riddleport is not really near any deserts.

I also need to reacquaint myself with the background rolls for this character really quickly.

Figaro Wisk, I had rolls Veterans of a skirmish or war for you originally.

Syntriani, I had rolled Friendly competitors for you.

Poppy, I had rolled Servants or apprentices to the same master for you.

Qiu Loutsa, I had rolled Best Friends for you.

Sanobi, I had rolled Criminal connections for you.

@GM of Awesomeness - I'm ready. I swapped one skill point to Linguistics to learn Whiskey's hand language.

I just did a last-minute trait swap, too. Realized a feat I swapped to partly overrode one of my traits, so I swapped that to something else background-appropriate.

Um, I don't figure Sanobi as a criminal, she considers herself above such things as cavorting with the underworld.

Mechanically ready, have a fairly set idea of her character personality too. Need to add some text to BG though, but that can happen as we play, unless you really want to wait for it.

Criminal Connections doesn't necessarily mean BAD it just means you don't follow the predetermined laws of the area or you know them via such means.. IE they could have been put to jail and you happen to be there.. or you might have browsed the Black market without being aware. With Figaro and Syntriani when she invited him to join the gang most likely the strikes he helped in had either neutral/corrupt merchants.. as this was Riddleport. Basically if there were Evil, Neutral people.. he helped otherwise he didn't. And most likely he gave his share away to either the target if they weren't bad or to some deserving orphanage/temple. Or a gift to Syntriani, because she is his friend.

To my knowledge no, we are jst freely Roleplaying until the GM assigns us and starts the dungeoncrawl, so RP to your Hearts content. I just got back from work so Im thinking up things and ill post soon.

Yup. Just letting you guys have some RP fun for right now. I will likely start the game Sun or Mon.

Initially, I wasn't planning on there being too much RP, but this group works so well together, I don't mind adding in some, here and there.

Okay been thinking about qiu's relationship with Whiskey, and I think it would be fun (also read as: easier, less off-putting, less potentially disastrous) to have had Qiu have more of a crush that he has mostly gotten over. I hope this works...

Sure, its your character, and we are just meant to have fun our group is strange in that from all these random rolls we put together something that resembles an actual possible party.

FINALLY, I got work off for tommorrow and Work later that Tuesday, and have that wednesday off

I just noticed I had not applied favored class bonuses to Qiu... though I am perfectly fine with waiting until he levels to put them in.

Feel free to add them in now. This goes for anybody else who forgot FCBs.

Will start up the game tomorrow, I believe. Though I must say, I am rather enjoying reading the great RP this group has!

Well, having known dead magic places would've been nice to know. Are we in the dead magic half of the city or the wild magic half? Cause I am kinda using magic at the moment.

Qiu might not know which side he's on but he is still going to grumble about it.

Whiskey is not a wizard, thats to be sure. He is smart however, he might know a thing or two.

Yeah, a magic dead zone could be pretty bad for Urah. I mean he still has weapons, but he specializes in magical fire.

Would not want to get into combat in a magic dead zone, as that's effectively a Qiu dead zone....

Whiskey would protect his Qiu.

Based on all this ooc chatter, does that mean nobody plans to continue the in game conversation, and all are ready to move forward?

Also, I promise, no dead magic zones. That's just cruel.

Well there i going to be in game conversation , but I believe the group is also ready to move forward, no reason why you cant do both, a good pacing is great for a story.

Moving forward is fine by me too. (Guess I jumped to conclusions about the dead magic; I didn't remember that it was spotty in Alkenstar. 8^)

This particular tavern is a safe haven for magick. Hence, all casting works normally.

Sorry, I was fairly busy over the weekend as well and didn't want to try doing this post by phone... (also was a bit apprehensive about how to continue.)
So to continue a random roll for why Qiu knows the lady or someone like her. Thus a roll for conflict, minus the mass murder (as Qiu would likely leave before confront in that case.) 1d19 ⇒ 10 betrayal, hmmm, need to think on what kind of betrayal, but time to move forward.

I have a few different ideas, and while I originally was planning on this being just a straight dungeon crawl, I would be fine with something else, depending on how you respond to the inquiry in game.

I might lean slightly toward dungeon crawl, if just because it's what I was expecting from this game. 8^) But I'm okay with anything.
