(M Human Barbarian / 2)

For the first in a long time Feahus had a decent bed, and even if he snored a bit, he slept very well. When he woke up again, he was a little grumpy he couldn't sleep longer but a coffee with a nip of whisky did wonders for his mood. He opened a window and took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air after that forced stay in the sewers. When Nimue put the weapons on a table, he noticed the shortspear again.

Lass, would ye mind if I took that one? I'm nee good with small knifes, but throwing a spear should work out just fine.

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

Rohara wakes and greets Mr. Holmes and Watson. She then departs for her morning prayer before returning for something to eat. The woman seems to pick out any available fruits and vegetables. She has a glass of water and joins the others. "Good morning to you all. It would appear we best hurry with our breakfast, and see what has occurred during the night."

(( Rohara has been leveled up ))

Rohara's Mini-Stats:
Initiative: +2 Perception: +10
Current AC: 17 (15 Flat-footed / 12 Touch)
Current HP: 16/16 remaining
Current in Hand: small darkwood shield
Conditions in effect: n/a
Spells (0-level, DC 14, at will) Detect Magic, Guidance, Light, Create Water; (1st level, DC 15, 2+1+1) Bless(x2), Command, comprehend languages (d)
Abilities: Channel Energy 5 of 5 uses remaining; Inspiring Word 7 of 7 uses remaining; Lore Keeper (at will, touch attack)

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Alasdair gets up before everyone else and heads into the lab to mix up his extracts for the day and a dose of Mutagen.

When Dr. Watson arrives, he heads up to join the others. He settles in, reaching for food appreciatively, "Links an' oatmeal, there's nae finer breakfest."

He looks up from his bowl to answer Nimue's questions, motioning at each vial with an oat-filled spoon, "Th' tae broon ones ur black scorpion extract. Mingin' stuff, i' kills most fa ingest it, an' puts those it doesnae kill intae a coma. It' bepotent enaw tae wark as a contact venom which weakens th' body, tae. Th' black is black lotus extract, a mingin' contact poison e'en deadlier than th' scorpion venom."

Alasdair is levelled.

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

Arnault:
That is fine, you have access to the library of St. Paul too so I am sure you could have scribed something in HQ.

When you are all done with your daily rituals, you are greeted in the Meeting hall by a younger man who calls himself Dr. Watson, and a friend of Mr. Holmes.

I hope all is well with you. I normaly do not dable in this sort of thing if I can help it, but I was asked to examine a few corpses found by the docks after a raid last night. I can confirm potent poisons being used, and it is possible some large rodents are in the area, maybe even used as pets by these chinese. One strange thing I found on some of the chinese corpses is that they have been exsposed to some sort of high level energy that has sickened them.

"That rat was somebody's pet? Shows you what sorts we're dealing with."

(Leveled up.)

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

"High level of energy made them sick you say? Would this have an effect on animals, mutating them somehow?"

((Heal 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14, I am not sure when the effects of radiation poisoning was discovered.))

"In our investigations, we ran across one of these giant rodents. We also thwarted another ambush of these black scorpions. We managed to question one, another took his own life rather than be captured. From the captive, we learned that this Master has revived Weng Chiang, whom the Doctor killed, and is now preparing to take his flock to a place known as Gal of Frey. The reason they are here in London was to retrieved this time cabinet, which Professor Littlefoot was in the possession of." Rohara reports.

That is most distressing, I shall see about getting a team to hunt for these beasts in the sewers. This energy could be what is causing the giant rodents, Mr Edison from america had an assistant loose an arm during an experiment recently, he wrote a paper on what he calls Ions. I merly dable in the science realm, my passion is medicine. Well it sounds like you have your work cut out for you, Mr Feahus, you are an unexpected addition, but should you continue to work within the confines of the law and assist this team, you could find the Queen herself indebted to you.

I vwould love to read zis paper of Mr Edisons Dr VWatson, vwhere do you zink I vwould be able to find a copy? Arnault then adresses the whole group. Vwhere should vwe begin today? Ze vwarehouse or zat laundry Mr Holmes suggested?

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Feahus nods to Dr. Watson.

If her Majesty wants to extend that debt to me' family I'm more then allright.

Then he turns at Arnault.

Just saying... Prepare some weapon when you go to that laundry service... I had an... erm... assignment there and those Chinese people didn't like it. So they captured me.

And I'm nee keen on entering sewers again, but there's still that trapdoor near that laboratory.

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Nimue stands there with her mouth slightly open and her eyes glaze over as Mr Watson talks about ions and science and medicine.

Responding to both Feahus and Arnault she speaks as she strings her bow, "It seems like we have a busy day ahead, if we're, like, gonna go to all these places. Let's get things moving then."

Today she has two quivers hanging off her belt, and a fiery look in her eye.

Levelled up and ready to skewer some more ninjas!

"They may be expecting us to return to the laboratory. Perhaps a visit to the laundry would be more of a surprise."

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

"There, is also the warehouse that was mentioned yesterday." Rohara adds.

Nimon:
would it be possible for Arnault to guess where abouts tha trapdoor in the lab would come out at street level using Kn: Dungeoneering and Kn: Geography?

Let's go to ze vwarehouse first and zen to zis laundry, if neizer of zese places have a trapdoor leading to ze lab vwe can go back zere to see vwhere zat trapdoor leads. Is zis plan ok vwiz(with) everyone?

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Arnault wrote:

"Yes, indeed. Enough breakfast. Let's go!"

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Feahus nods at the proposal of Arnault and puts his barbed vest back on. If some rats would try and bite him, at least they'd get a little toothache.

I agree. Let's go.

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

Rohara agrees and looks to Holmes and Watson, "Unless there was anything else gentlemen?"

If not she bids them a good day and gathers up her belongings and moves out with her companions.

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

[spoiler=Arnault] Sure make your rolls, you can do a roll for each, or roll for one and add +2 circumstance for having overlaping skills[spoiler]

Nothing else. Make haste this situation is getting worse and I fear it will only continue to build. Dr Watson says solemly.

Knowledge Rolls:
Really trying to work out if the trapdoor comes out near the warehouse or the laundry. Or if neither of these then where abouts in the city. Knowledge Dungeoneering:

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Knowledge Geography:

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Feahus grabbed his stuff and followed Rohara, eager to put his hands to use. Too much talking already, he muthered. While walking, he asked her.

No offense intended, but ye sure wear strange clothes. Yet ye speak better English than me and the other Scot. Ye come from one o'the colonies?

Jeffrey finds the opening too tempting to resist. "I'm not sure I'd call what you Scots speak English," he says with a good-natured wink.

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

Rohara smiles Feahus and chuckles at Jeffery's joke, "No offense taken Faehus. I am from India. My mother is Indian while my father English. I was educated here in London for many years before returning to India, where I discovered my true gifts."

AS they continue to the warehouse, "And you? What brings you to London?"

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Feahus reacts irritated to Jeffrey, but unable to reply something he leaves it at a loud "Bah!". Then he replies to Rohara.

Had to close me smithy in Glasgow. People don't buy swords anymore.

He looks a moment at Jeffrey and raises his voice a bit.

Not even in Scotland!

Then he continues.

So I've been lookin' for other jobs. Not much for grabbin' so I took some dangerous stuff. Last mission was no succes tough.

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Alasdair looks at Jeffrey as though the man was mad, saying, "Ach, I'll tak' a lyrical an' expressife brogue ower th' borin' monotony ay th' proper sassenach o' the Queen anyday."

He nods at Feahus, "Sae ye waur a weedgie waur ye? frae th' highlands myself, an' 'en Auld Reekie."

Jeffrey simply grins, but inwardly hopes that, after this exchange, he never slips up and reveals his native Cockney, so deliberately concealed by years of practice.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Aye, Weegie... Still am and will return one day. Might want to learn how to make guns first tough, so shop will do better... Highlander? Want to take a look at me sword in that case. Sold all the swords I made but couldn't sell this one, it's old. I know it's ancestors, but that's about it.

He turns to the others.

Weegie is the name for people of Glasgow. Auld Reekie is for Edinburgh. Just so ye know...

Arnault chuckles softly at the goings on between Jeffery and the two Scotsmen. What a mad bunch we must look to all the passers by Mr Hugo? He says to his grey moggy.

perception:
Just keeping a look out on the path ahead and the people around for any possible ambush or spies. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Nimue's head turn from Feahus to Alasdair and back again. She twirls her finger in her right ear, then bangs her temple with her palm a few times. She shakes her head, trying to clear it. Shrugging in confusion, she turns to Rohara and says, "Is it just me?"

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

Arnault:
You suspect the stairs lead near the chinese quater of the city. The laundry and werehouse too close to each other to know for sure.

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

You all start to notice the change in the city as you approach the chinese sector of town. Many foriegn chinese workers are busy about the place and the signs start to become multi-lingual. You see the warehouse up ahead about three blocks.

Arnault pauses in his stride as he sees the warehouse Hmm, I'm tempted to take ze direct approach on zis one, does anyone have a better plan?

What do I know about this district? What kind of precautions would I be aware of? Knowledge (Local) 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Feahus grins.

Direct sounds like a plan. I got me sword ready anyway.

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

Rohara suggests, "Unless we wish to move around to see if there is a door on the other side. Either way will work."

Rohara's Mini-Stats:

Ok zat sounds good. How about zis? Ms Nimue, Mr Jeffery and I vwill sneak around ze back and vwhen vwe have found a vworkable vway in I vwill send up a green light into ze sky, zat vwill be ze signal to enter. If I send up a red light zat means vwe have run into trouble and need assistance.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Disappointed, Feahus looks at Arnault.

But... But... Waiting? Ye can nee be serious... Really? Were ye nee the one suggesting a direct approach? What do ye do now, stab 'em in the back? Bah! Get done with it, I'm already tired of waiting!

Arnault smiles at the scotsman and rubs his stubbled chin. I'm sorry Feahus zis vwill just take a minute I promise. Vwhen you see ze green light go up make sure you kick ze front door in so hard zat zere is not one Easterner left standing, Alright? Then he ducks down an alley out of sight.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Hurt a little in his pride, Feahus ducks into his backpack and takes out his bottle of whisky. He shows it to Alasdair.

Ye need some of this potion? I promise ye won't die, true Scottish quality. At least not right now.

Not willing to wait for long, he takes a nip himself. Feahus makes sure to make it clear to all around him he is enjoying his drink by a loud burp.

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Alasdair smiles, "Ach, thank ye. A wee taste o' home."

He points at the alley where the others snuck off, adding, "Dornt tak' it personal, I think it's some sassenach pride hin'. Ur mebbe it's somethin' abit them wee folk an' their wee, wee bodies thinkin' 'at they cannae be seen.. Ah dunnae ken yit, still tryin' tae figure it out."

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Nimue absently rattles the arrows in her quiver with her right hand, "That sounds great. I'm sorry, Mr. McDerry,, we will be, like, really quick, and quiet. We'll see what's going, right, and then we'll know what's going on, like, you see?"

She strings her short bow, and flings her cloak over her left shoulder, covering her arm and bow, and disappears with Arnault.

Rohara looks to Feahus as the others make their way to the other side of the warehouse, "Worry not, we shall act soon enough."

She watches for anything amiss as well as a signal... ((Perception 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15))

((It would appear Nimon is AWOL?))

Rohara Acharya wrote:

So it would seem. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt - he could be having computer troubles or otherwise be unable to come online. Let's see if he comes back around soon.

(Female Human Fighter 1)

I'm still optimistic.

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

I'm also holding on to hope.... Especially since he just went out and got a replacement player...

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Aye... I'll give it a few days still, he said he took a new job after all. But if he makes it a tenday I guess I'll be looking for something else.

BUMP... Still hoping.

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Oh man, you had me excited.
