Jeffrey, do you want to question the dead ninja - Nimue and Arnault can roll Aid Another to your Bluff check.

And Rohara can work her Diplomacy magic on the servant...?

I'm not sure of Alasdair's or Feahus' skills in these areas. Perhaps others should take on the rolls suggested, or more Aiding will help...?

I gave a RP hint, but my intimidation is allright (4 ranks, no bonus 'till I get the Intimidating Prowess feat tough). So depends on what you want to try. Otherwise I'm of few use in these situations I'm afraid ^^

Sure. I can do the Bluff.

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Feahus, you should use your intimidate on the live one then.

Sounds like we have a good bluff set up.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

The servant you mean, right? As a start for the bluff?

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Feahus wrote:

Yeah, I would think that the little play with the dead ninja's body will be a Bluff opposed by the servant's Sense Motive.

It is up to the GM though.

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

Rohara has diplomacy and once she casts comprehend languages, will understand Chinese/Mandarin.

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Alasdair's not so good at social graces, so he's more than happy to stand back and let others interrogate while he examines vials.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

I'll be more then happy to leave the rest of the conversation to you, Rohara. I can aid with the Sense Motive still, as for the rest the chitchat is for you ^^

As long as the servant is ready to talk, maybe we don't have to bluff-interrogate the dead ninja.

I understand you'd like a rest ^^

If the door I just opened leads to the city we'll rest (and do our business) there, if it looks like a long run in the sewers we'll rest in the lab. Does that sound like a plan to you?

I tought of the most logic thing Feahus would do, feel free to overrule him.

I'm fine to keep going but I think Rohara has run out of healing. I'm just worried about that...

(HP 13 / 13 - AC 20 (T 12, FF 18) - F +2, R +2, W +5)

Yes, Rohara has only her 0-level spells, and domain abilities remaining. No spells or channeling.

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Alasdair's been fully healed and is hoping to find something actually useful - plus, he's not used to magical healing beyond his own potions, so that's why he's keen to keep going -- of course, he'll bow to the group.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Let's just rest, it's always nicer if everyone can fight/cast with full capacity.

(Female Human Fighter 1)

ok

Jeffrey can be convinced to keep watch on this location overnight, even though he will complain about how he'd rather have his bed :)

Cool let's just rest already. I'm keen to get on with finding out whats going on

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Question... Are we allowed full hit points on the lvl up or do we throw dice?

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Other than hp, Alasdair is updated.

I took this to mean take full Hp when leveling up.the quote is from the first recruitment post.

+1

Also we have £100 pounds to spend. I'm assuming this is the gp equivalent. Split 6 ways that is £16(gp), 6sp, 6cp each. Though I'm not sure if there is time to spend it in-game...?

EDIT:
There's also the Party Loot:
Found in giant rat’s nest in sewer:
100 pounds and a strange piece of metal, about 6” long and thin like a pencil.
Found on the ninjas in the sewer lab:
6 throwing darts
2 small vials (look like brownish ink)
1 Nine Ring Broadsword
4 Daggers
1 Short Spear
4 poison pill rings/ 3 with a strange gelcap inside, 1 empty
1 bottle(black tint)
Feel free to use the loot found, just let everyone know. I am only a book-keeper of the party loot.

Nimon, can I pick up a (small) longsword here in the lab?

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

Sure a basic weapon is not to much to ask for.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Ah, I missed it ^^ Thanks all. Means I got 30HP now.

I'd like to craft a masterwork piece for my greatsword somewhere during the campaign. Think I'll have any chance doing that before upgrading to masterwork would be useless?

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

You probably will not have time to craft such an item do to the nature of this module, buying one or haveing the masterwork spell from UM cast on it would be best.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Allright. In that case I invest that skill rank into Climb instead of Craft (weapon). Levelup done.

'sigh' :(

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

I second that sigh.

I know PbP games often implode, but I've had some rather bad luck the last few months, it seems -- and, strangely, it always seems to be the games which show the most promise.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

I'll be looking for another campaign at this point. A shame, this one had a fun atmosphere and I tought it was going good, but I'm tired of waiting.

For those of you who look for something else as well: keep an eye on my own campaign. We're full now and going good, but should one of the players drop out I'd be happy to welcome any of you as replacement.

It is a shame because I really enjoyed this game and Feahus was a good addition to the party. I'll probably look for something else to but I'll keep an eye here and will come back if Nimon returns I hope what ever is keeping him from the boards isn't to serious. And I won't be dropping out of your campaign it's great ;)

Does anybody still check here? I know it's a long shot but I've been toying with the idea of asking if there is someone who would like to take over this game on the recruitment board. Is anybody still interested or should I let it go?

Maybe no one does check here anymore. :-(

I check, and I would entertain it if we got someone interested in running this game.

Well I've put it out there on the recruitment thread... If you wanna check it out or have anything to add here's the LINK

(Male Human (Touched) Alchemist (Chirurgeon) 2 [Campaign Ended (Torchwod)])

Give it a whirl, though considering how unique it was, I'm not sure it'll fly.

Cheliax (Male Human Inquisitor/5)

Sorry about my abrupt absence. I am going through a divorce with my wife and am currently without computer and internet, I am at my sisters currently sending this message. I am really sorry I enjoyed playing with you all. This will give me time to refine my pencil and paper version and hopefully it will reflect on my future pbp games.

(M Human Barbarian / 2)

Thank you for telling us what happened. I wish you the best with these difficult times.

The game was nice, you got this unique mix of interesting backgrounds (Steampunk, Doctor Who, China, Torchwood) that beats much else on the market. If you do revive it someday, let us know.

Yeah that doesn't sound fun.

I really enjoyed playing this setting to thank you. If you ever revive it please let me know.

(Female Human Fighter 1)

Best of luck Nimon, you inspired me to start my own game, though I will miss this game. The setting, the ideas, it is... Brilliant!
