"I believe we need to destroy the alter otherwise it will continue to summon these abominations."

Save = 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Throw lance of faith at the caller, attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22, damage = 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17 radiant, Lynore gets +2 to her next attack

Thom slaps his forehead in disgust. "Why didn't I think of that?" He asks rhetorically.

Arcane check to see how to destroy or neutralize the altar. 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 26

Forgot about that, I am also weekened so damage should be 11.

Tavar - need another save from you to prevent you being marked by the Caller. LoF is range 5, so I took the liberty of moving you closer the altar.

Ill and will be patchy the next couple of days. Delightful combo of summer flu thing and exhaustion. This is the last time I try to run two jobs at once.

Tavar has a brainwave and starts to irradiate the altar with the power of his goddess. Similarly inspired, Thom realises that it is possible to destroy the altar simply by destroying the thing, or alternatively, by re-consecrating it to another deity.

Destruction is what you'd expect, but only powers that deal radiant damage will be effective.
Reconsecration requires 4 successful Religon checks (DC23). Such checks are a standard action.

Male Deva Cleric lvl 14

Sorry though it was one save per turn.
Save = 1d20 ⇒ 20

The prone Caller fails utterly to capitalise on its mark on Lynore, but brings Barel under its spell as well. Tavar's bright blades continue to do their impassive work, slicing deep into the fallen choir. Overwhelmed by the horrendous noise, Lynore feels herself weakening.

Or maybe not. Lynore needs to make two saves. One v the mark and CA, one v the ongoing 5 psychic.

Rolled a 1 against Lynore.
Barel is marked and grants CA to Caller 2 (se both)

Caller 3 solidifies and marks Thom before flying towards the wizard, singing a demented hymn in praise of a long-forgotten deity.

Lanthair won't be much help destroying the altar, so he will help keep the Caller busy.

Move to H13. Crane's Wings 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (5) + 17 = 22 vs Fort. 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 damage and I slide him one square to the west (to open up a route for Tavar to reach the altar. (No effects on a miss.)

Rev, how close do you have to be to the altar to reconsecrate it?

Also, I forgot to use an interrupt here.
Repelling Shield: A sudden shield of arcane energy blocks an attack and pushes the enemy away.
Immediate Interrupt, Personal
Trigger: You are hit by a melee attack
Effect: You gain a +4 power bonus to AC and Reflex until the end of your next turn. If any creature makes a melee attack against you while this effect lasts, you can push it 1 square after the attack resolves.

Lanthair's flurried movement does nothing to distract the incoming Caller.

Thom - you need to be adjacent to the altar to deconsecrate it. Apologies. Had it in my head to say that earlier and forgot.

Thom gulps and decides to summon a bodyguard to help protect him. Once summoned, he hurries around the Caller, trying to reach the altar.

Minor action:
Summon Iron Cohort:
Minor Action, Close Burst 2, in square H15
Effect: You summon a Small iron cohort in an unoccupied square within the burst. The iron cohort has a speed of 6 and has a +2 bonus to AC. You can give the iron cohort the following special command.
Immediate Interrupt: When you are targeted by a ranged or melee attack and the iron cohort is adjacent to you, the iron cohort becomes the attack's target instead.
Double move to L8.
Save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

The sound of ironmongery momentarily overwhelms the horrid singing as Thom conjures a metallic ally. The cohort salutes smartly and keeps its gaze focused imperturbably on the Caller.

The comforting iron presence helps Thom get his wits together and brush aside the invasive singing.

Thom - need another save from you. One is against the mark and CA granting, the other is against the ongoing psychic.

All cool. Edited above.

Tavar is up.

Male Dwarf Warden/16

sorry for this out of turn post, but I am going to be out of town on vacation for the next week. I will try to post ocassionally, but if Barel is unresponsive, please NPC him. His plan at this point is to help Lanthair hold this third (and potentially a fourth) caller's attention while letting Thom and Arishat work their consecretory magic!

Well-earned and much deserved. Enjoy yourself thoroughly.

Male Deva Cleric lvl 14

If I can do both I'll desecrate the alter and throw a lance of faith at it as well. If I can only do one I'll just desecrate the alter.

Relgion = 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18

Attack vs reflex, 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31, damage = 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 radiant, Lynore gets +2 to her next attack
