I know Raya does. I may have to do a background post for her too, though I do mine a bit differently than most. it's fun though!

As much as I'd love to think that quote mine, I had some help with it...

Very interesting how this has gone & James isn't quite how I thought he would be.

"Tieflings tend to take that rather personally, and we aren't noted for our forgiving natures. I am of course an exception. Very kind, I am. People say so."

Exactly, just about created a character for a RL game (see DSX's profile). But I have seen only a couple on the boards in the last few years.
John Morrison or Jim Morrison?

yes, the pro wrestler, John Morrison. the profile pic and all that just comes together, granted James prolly isn't that buff...
Shocked he (& Melina) hasn't gone to TNA yet, although he did a commercial with Jessica Alba (so that's probably better artistically).

Stupid Question time - I take it (obviously) that the Darkspiral Aura, is not a 'Necrotic Power' even if it is a Necrotic/Psychic ability. And also that my 'Curse Power' that does Necrotic damage is also not a Necrotic power.
I think Barel also needs a save Vs. Weakened.

Unless it was errata'd the FR book says Darkspiral does 1d6 necrotic & psychic (going to 1d10 in James case). And the Dark-Warlock Paragon path allows James an extra 1d6 Necrotic damage on a curse.
Again I don't expect either would have any extra damage from the Dark Fury Feat or Deathbone Rod but, just checking.

Ah, yes. I do believe you're right. My mistake.
Just note what damage types you're dealing when you deal them then. A pain, I know, but there are resistances and whatnot all over the place. None that are likely to be relevant to you in this particular fight.
I'll try to remember, but you're all rather fancy now and stuff does slip past me.

Different that is based on the card game 'Werewolf', where 1-2 people chosen at random are werewolves (in James case an assassin). Then every 3 days real time the group vote for someone to be lynched & the assassins secretly vote to kill another player.
That James was based upon 'Flashman', as the 1st game I tried to create a nasty character. Although he became nicer, and every though he was memorable. Unfortunately the game is quite tense, but a lot of fun.
Currently, we have a new game going on, HERE. The next one will probably start in 5-6 weeks, we only just started this game. And we try to get as many players as possible.

"My story, you ask? Well if you insist..."
The scene is a small dirt farm in nowhere in particular...
"Mother! Help! It's Solan"
"Careless boy, what'd you to do yourself"
"I was supposed to watch him, to watch you..."
A poorly lit bedroom, with a stool beside the bed.
"A coma....What does it mean? He is alive but naught? Why torment us so? Would that I throttle the Raven Queen herself for this."
A city slum, with a silhouette of a girl on her knees, a shining figure before her.
"I just don't want to hurt anymore, such illness, so many problems. I am lost here, is this truly my life?"
"Who are you?..."
"Destiny...it is a foolish thing to believe in, only the rich get such luxury."
A training camp, filled with wooden dummies
"It's too hard! I cannot endure. I give. Was stupid for me to even try."
"Why? Why even bother? No one cares about the plight of others, of people like me, Why do you even persist? Why suffer so?"
"So others don't have to."
A battlefield, soaked in rain, lightning in the sky, and a monsterous shadow of a knight.
"Kill me then! I won't let you harm another, monster. I will die as I live, defending the weak."
"Why...why does he not slay me? Hawthorne..."

Ah, so that's the trick. All those Inspiring Words getting results below average, and then I threaten Thom with a spanking and he responds well. Now, I just need to know everyone else's secret switches.
"Raya, dear, there's some candy if you don't die."
