MotFF Table 1 | MotFF Table 2 | Goblins

Reta and Poog race each other chewing down the slugs, while Chuffy has problems getting even one to stay down.

As the two goblins grab slugs and toss them into their mouths, Reta decides to begin spitting the poison sacs out, while Poog simple shoves the slugs into his mouth and chomps down.

Poog Fort: 1d20 + 3 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 3 - 5 = 0 Penalty is for eating the poison bladders

As the both goblins finish their slugs, Slorb has both approach. But as Poog begins to take a few steps, he curls up and begins to wretch all the slugs back up onto the ground.

Slorb looks from Big Chief to Reta then to Poog, finally turning back to Reta. Big Chief says you good to know not to eat bad stuff. Smart goblin should have mighty weapon. Slorb turns to pull a masterfully crafted dogslicer from the chest and presents it to Reta. This is Big Chief's Gorge of Gluttons. It has feasted on many a horse and evil dog. Big Chief wants you to use it, but bring it back or Chief will come and get it.

Poog you are sickened due to the slug slime and poison for 24 hours.

As Reta shouts her triumph and drools over her new blade, a hulk of a goblin pushes his way through the crowd. The goblin's face is covered in scars and a chunk of his ear is missing, you know this goblin as a fairly well known warrior of the tribe. He glares at the 'heroes'.

I dare the heroes to Hide and Go Club. To emphasize his point, he pulls out a large club from behind his back. Heroes go hide, Licktoads find, we club. Easy.

Everyone who wants to participate, please make a stealth roll.

You watch as the Big Chief whispers to Slorb, who nods several times before turning to the gathered goblins.

Final dare for the heroes. Big Chief wants to see you test your might against the .... RUSTY EARBITTER. Slorb points to a group of goblins. You bring out the earbitter.

The goblins hurry off and in a few minutes return dragging a 20 foot long, hollow coil of rusty wires, barrel hoops, bent swords, and thorny branches and vines. You know why the Earbitter is called that, several partially severed goblin ears can be seen tangled in the sharp internal coils.

Those who wish to go through the Earbitter need to make 3 Escape Artist DC 15 to make it through. You can retry an attempt, but each failed roll deals 1d4-2 damage (any roll of less than 1 means no damage).

Reta, tilts her huge head from side to side as she sees her ancient nemesis, the earbiter! With a squeal of fear mixed with hateful resentment she hurriedly flees the scene fearing the confrontation.

"Earbiter nevah get Reta again! NEVAH!!!"

MotFF Table 1 | MotFF Table 2 | Goblins

Mog, you can see if you can't whip something up. It's a DC 20 to craft that item. If you can't I will say that there is something coming up soon that will get rid of the sickened.

The Licktoads hoot and holler as the heroes work their way through the Earbitter. Many cheers are heard as Chuffy emerges from the Earbitter with only a few ripped clothes to show.

Mog gets stuck a bit more, a few small gashes his new trophies, but poor Poog gets stuck early on. After being prodded by a few thrown stones from the crowd manages to move a bit further before becoming entangled more. The crowd shrieks and laughs, tossing leftovers at the cleric. Finally the goblins all leave just as Poog makes his way out of the torturous machine.

Big Chief looks around and finally motions for Poog to stand before him. Leaning down, he whispers to Slorb who translates.

[b]Big Chief sees the tenacity of Licktoads within Poog, obviously gifted to him from Zarongel. So to appease Zarongel, Big Chief gives you one of the tribes most coveted treasures, Big Chief's own Useful Robe That Is Useful.

Treat the Useful Robe as a Robe of Useful Items with 4 patches left, a ladder, a three-legged turtle, a horseshoe, and a blowhorn

With that the dares are done and the Chief, through Slorb, bids all Licktoads to eat, drink, and burn the bad luck away. The heroes leave in the morning.

Inside the chest is 2 Desnan Candles, 4 Paper Candles, and 1 Skyrocket. I'll put the info on them in the Campaign info

Sorry Chuffy only Reta, Mog, and the spider were able to act int he surprise round. But now we go into regular rounds.

As Poog struggles against his sticky bonds, Mog lets out a screach before tossing a bomb up at the spider. The bomb hits squarely, singing parts of the spider and the webbing all around it.

Reta draws out her bow and fires, but the arrow catches itself amid the hanging webbing.
