She swallows before smiling at him and leans into him slightly as she drinks down the rest of her milk. Patting her belly she lets out a very unladylike belch before covering her mouth and turning an even darker shade of pink, "I...I'm sorry, excuse me. I think I'm full now."

Sig chuckles at the poignancy of Thorg's words as they head out. That would definitely have to be part of the tale.

"Well at least with no day or night, it will most likely remain somewhat constant." Dagmarr comments stepping outside.

"Yeah...it's just a little weird though. I suppose we'll get used to it after a while though." She says as she pulls the cloak around her.
You set off from Corrie's in the direction Woden indicated toward a sleepy looking village. The wind picks up on the cold plain as you walk. However, before you arrive at your destination, you come across two wandering men dressed in ragged armor. One bears a rusted and pitted sword, the other a bow that is barely held together by some dirty fabric. They pay you no heed, but seem to be looking off into the distance.

Her curiosity always getting the better of her she stops and addresses the two men, "I'm sorry...I was just wondering if you two were okay or if you were lost or something? Is there maybe something we can help you with?"
The two men ignore Frostine and continue staring toward the west.

She sort of shrugs, "I guess maybe from their appearance that they're already dead and just trying to figure out where to go?"

She shrugs again, "Well...we just keep moving then."

Dagmarr looks closely at the men, trying to determine thier state of life. Heal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Dagmarr is fairly sure the men are dead. At least, as dead as one can get in Helheim. Pressing on, you come to the village, the people's expressions serious but not overly grim. Some of them watch you briefly as you approach.

As they near the townsfolk Frostine steps forward, "Excuse me...but is there someone here that we can talk to? Maybe someone who's in charge of things or something?" She asks as she looks around.
"Talk to whoever you like," a man answers. "No one's in charge here."

She nods, "Okay....well, we were told that you have a bandit problem and we came to see if we could help."
"Aye, they camp near here," the man says. "Five of them. They come nightly to steal our food...they really can't kill us."

She nods her head, "Yeah....I guess we can't really deal with them in the normal way either. We'll see what we can do to get rid of them."
"If you can keep them from bothering us, then you'll have our thanks," the man says.

Nodding again she says, "We'll do our best to make sure they don't bother you again." Looking at the others she asks, "So...should we go seek them out, or wait for them to show up tonight. I actually like the idea of a surprise "visit"."

She nods yet again as she looks back at the man she had been talking to, "Do you have any idea what direction their camp is in?"
The man points to the west to where a valley is formed on the normally flat plains. "Probably over yonder in that valley."

"Thank you." Frostine then heads in the direction indicated by the man, along with the others.

"Is should be interesting. If the denizens can't be truly killed, the bandits may be the same. I wonder if defeating them badly enough would be a deterrent or if they'd need to be disabled." Sig surmises as they head in the direction of the bandit camp.

She kind of shrugs, "I don't know....I guess we'll just sort of figure it out as we go? If all else fails maybe we just beat them down until they don't got much fight left in them and then remove their legs? I doubt they'd be able to reattach them and then they couldn't "walk" to the village to bother the people. Or you know....we could just try talking to them first and try to find out what's going on before we commence the ass kicking?" She says as she tries to think about the likely outcomes.

"I doubt cutting off their legs is a permanent solution here," Thorgr says.

"Let's get moving then," Jerrica says, leading the way and looking out for trouble.

Jerrica sees nothing unusual on the desolate plain as the group moves forward. You reach the valley within an hour, but it is abnormally dark as the ground slopes downward.
