"True, but, someday, I want an actual 'home' home, where we're not living out of some mythical tree's cottage," Jerrica says, drying the flagon and putting it away.
"Me too, and I look forward to when that day comes." Sig says with a smile.
Jerrica peers into the main room. "Looks like Thorgr and Frostine finished their bath."
She just lays there for a few minutes, enjoying the moment. Enjoying being in his arms, the only place she wanted to be.
"Then I guess it's our turn." Sig says with a smile as they finish the dishes.
Almost dozing off in the soothing steamy bath, Dagmarr opens her eyes, letting out a soft sigh. Both her body and mind needed the opportunity to unwind. getting up slowly, she steps out of the tub, water cascading off of her. Wrapping a towel around herself she gathers up her things, heading to the bedroom.
Drying off and pulling on a clean shift, the warrior priestess goes over to the other bed in the room to check on her patient. Satisfied that she is resting as comfortably as possible she kneels, thanking Freya for bringing them safely through another day of trials, and asking her to watch over the woman they rescued from such horrible conditions, before slipping into bed.
"Then let's go," Jerrica says, taking Sig's hand and heading to the bathroom. She notices Thorgr and Frostine's clothing on the floor. "Oh my."
After a few minutes, Thorgr rolls over, still holding Frostine. "I think it's time to get clean again."
She nods and waves her hands as they're covered in cool blue sparks that seem to pick up all the bodily fluids and disperse them in little showers of blue flickering lights. She smiles at him, "There, is that better?"
Thorgr nods, giving Frostine a tender kiss. "I love you, Frostine."
"Heh, guess they were a little.....distracted." Sig sas with a chuckle as she sits on the bench slipping off her boots.
As he kisses her she smells of wild flowers and he smells of a fresh pine forrest in spring. Wrapping her arms around him she returns the kiss with a soft one, "I love you too Thorgr, more than I could ever say." With her arms wrapped around him and her body spent, she lays her head on his chest and closes her eyes.
Jerrica giggles and starts undressing.
Thorgr smiles, closes his eyes and falls asleep.
It takes very little time once she's cuddled up next to him for her to fall asleep as well.
Getting out of her clothing Sig looks lovingly at Jerrica. "I love that sound."
"What? Me giggling?"
"Yeah. It's as good as any music to me."
Jerrica smiles and fills the tub. "Oh, you flatterer."
"Not flattery if it's true." Sig replies taking the braids out of her hair and grabbing a couple of the thick warm towels to set on the bench for when they were done.
Walking over to her love, she takes the rogue into her arms, giving her a long slow kiss, before stepping into the tub and settling into the warm water, extending a hand in invitation.
Jerrica takes Sig's hand and steps into the tub, sitting in front of the skald.
With a happy sigh, Sig begins to lather up a washcloth Sig begins washing Jerrica's back, her hands gliding over her loves skin as they savor the time away from battle and conflict. "Not bad for a day. We rescued someone, put an end to at least a few more of those monsters, and I end the day with you in my arms, all in all, pretty good." she says with a smile
"I think so too," Jerrica says, letting out a sigh of relaxation.
"So what do you think of all this? Us on a mission from Woden to rescue other gods and goddesses from Loki's mad plans." she asks as she continues, her strong fingers taking the time to work the knots out of the rogue's shoulders while they bathe.
"It's a little less normal than the average adventure," Jerrica says. "Nothing wrong with that, though."
"True." Sig says leaning forward to kiss her neck, nibbling on her earlobe. "Besides, we deserve a little time to just.....relax." she whispers breathily.
Jerrica giggles again, getting goosebumps. "I like relaxing."
