Dilana's eyes go wide when she sees Olimpia scoop up the bomb and throw it the other direction.
"Olimpia, you are very impressive."
She looks around but not finding a target flips her wrist to the Wand of Ray of Exaustion rests in her hand, ready if needed.

Raktar is about to dive for cover when Olimpia neatly flicks the armed grenade out of the open door. He just about has time to recover from his surprise when he hears a huge orc barrelling towards him.
Reacting instinctively he activates his armour with a thought, causing magically-reinforced plates of adamantine to rapidly extend across his arms, torso and legs. The orc's blow clangs off his armour and JJ's shot finishes him.
Raktar looks round and sees another huge orc standing in the doorway. Looping his hammer into a backswing he steps towards the orc and uses his momentum to crush his hammer at the attacker.
Activating my smart armour as an immediate action when the orc attacks me increases my AC to 23, causing him to miss.

Still, that is my base damage before a dice with everything added in. +1 from the +1 Inferno pistol, +5 (+7 thanks to Figgy's potion) from my Dex because Technic Training, Deadly Aim adds +4, and Point Blank Shot adds +1. That's one reason gunslingers are feared and not always allowed in games. When they hit, they go for Touch AC and hit hard. XD

Raktar is poised to step over the orc's corpse and follow Olimpia into the room beyond when suddenly everything is dark. "What's happened?" he shouts, unable to see anything at all.
He inches carefully forwards into the doorway, hoping to be able to protect the people behind him, when a huge and savage orc appears in the gloom. He sees the creature thrusting it's rusted blade at Olimpia and rushes in, his hammer swinging towards the orc's abdomen.
Free Action to 5ft step, Standard Action to attack yellow, accepting the 50% miss chance.
GM - the circle of darkness seems to be overly my marker so I can't move it. I tried sending the circle back a few layers but it didn't make any difference, and I didn't fiddle any further so as not to damage the map.

After offing one orc, JJ reacted to a noise behind him and beheld another. Before he could line the thing up in his sights, everything in front of him suddenly went dark. "Not again!" He shouted in frustration, remembering his encounter with the blindheim. Still, he did his best to remember where it was. He tried to back off a bit, but was stopped by bumping into Figgy. "Dammit, how can I fight if I can't see or move?... F*ck it!" He shouted before opening fire on the last position the orc was at.

While intentionally taking a hit was annoying, it was also necessary since it allowed him to precisely target the orc and turn his insides into plasma. From there, he uses Dilana's light to navigate to the next room whilst feeling a sudden rocking of the structure and hearing a clattering walkway.
"We need to turn the lights back on before whatever the hell just made this place shake gets here!" He shouted to warn the others before opening fire at the figure Olimpia seemed to be fighting.

As the creature suddenly erupts into a ball of flames, JJ instinctively turns away and covers his face with an arm, only taking some minor burns. He still managed to see the other of those creatures try to run. Not allowing that, JJ closes the distance, smacks his pistol, and opens fire.

Seeing the second fireball signified the creature's death in his eyes. Hearing the group's description of the creature he quickly tried to think of what it could be as he rushed forward to confirm it with his own eyes. A vague shape lumbers at Raktar out of the gloom and he feels two blows turned aside by his armour before another gout of flame washes over him.

This time he is too slow and the fire flickers and dances across his scarred skin, a burning pain momentarily overcoming him. He refocuses when he ears the shouts about giants and opens the door beside him. The two headed giant beyond is barely visible through the darkness so Raktar steps forward to engage the creature in the light. His hammer trails silver sparks as he brings it round towards the giant's knees.

The red skinned humanoid is a bizarre mix of reptile and insect, with four arms and twitching mandibles.

Jeremiah steps out and shoots the two headed creature, wounding it nastily.
Raktar moves out and catches her with a heavy swing, getting a groan of pin from her.
Figgy's bomb hits her and erupts in searing flames.
The red skinned humanoid then does something shocking, she drives her two longswords into the back of the Giant.

Just as quick as JJ had seen the giant creature and this red lizard-bug thing get into his sights, he saw the thing strike down the big lug. This caught the slinger's attention and surprise. He couldn't say he was expecting one of their own to turn so quickly, but neither would he trust someone like that blindly. Turncoats like that have agendas all their own and aren't afraid of hurting others to do it.
"Ok then... Let's talk." JJ said, trying to sound friendly, but not lowering his guard or his weapon as he closed the distance a bit. "First, Who are you? Second, what are you? Third, what do you want with us?"

The creature watches you warily. "I am named Zagmaander. I am of the Xill. What I wish of you is to have the curse that binds me to this plane removed." She waves a Laser torch in one hand. "If you can do this for me I will leave you this tool and these bracers." She indicates two mithril bracers that she wears, not magic or very useful, but expensive.

Zagmaander shifts as questions come from all sides, but she keeps her eyes on Jeremiah as he was the first to speak to her.
"My race is not of this plane. We can travel the planes by our own abilities. The curse was placed on me by an enemy, it binds me here to suffer. Just being on this plane is painful to me!"
She gives the body of the giant a scornful look. "This brute was never my ally. I was promised the removal of my curse by Hellion as long as I served him loyally. However when Meyanda had come into enough ability to remove the curse he sent her away! Clearly he sees no need to keep his word to me."
Zagmaander needs a Remove Curse or Break Enchantment cast on her. It is a DC20 Caster level check to break it.
She is not trying to bluff or lie to you. Zagmaander is being completely honest. She is happy to offer you any knowledge she has on the Lords of Rust and this complex if you can remove the curse. As far as she is concerned they broke the agreement with her and she owes them nothing!

Dilana's little scorpion skitters up to her shoulder and pulls at here ear. The two converse quietly.
"We can cast a spell that might work but we have not learned it yet. Unless we find a scroll I don't think I can help until I have gained a small amount of power. Maybe Raktar or the cleric in scrapwall could remove it if they have time to prey or something."
