Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"If I hit, I like to think its final" the half orc laughs, "but if I'd know it was gonna be such a smelly fight, I might have just stayed and watched the rest of you." the grin goes from ear to ear, the laughter continues.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Be happy you passed the save Choztu. Failure is a bad option
Maus forces himself to touch the slimed corpses to determine what the hell he just fought auto 20 on Know check
"By all that is holy. These things were not canine but once men! The depravity of necromancy is paramount in these. How can one not be moved to join the cause of Pharasma after this?"
Maus begins to clean himself as best as able under the conditions.
"Was anyone wounded in that combat? Should we withdraw to the room of statues to rest under the grace of my mistresses image?"

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Fort check, no longer in rage 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Ok, that can NOT be good

Cilda is covered in pus and wounded from the festerog's bites. She is exhausted, and leaning against a wall for a bit of support. "Maus. Healing. Here. NOW," she says in between breaths.

"Wait...you said...but...that...how were those things...oh my gods," Cilda says as she comprehends what Maus is saying about these creatures. "I am going to KILL the sick freaks who caused this."

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Wait. does EVERYONE have to make a save from Natty's hit? I think you are OK Cilda. Per the Festrog's entry, should have only gooped Natty but only on slashing or piercing anyways....

"Gather around friends" Maus will pray a moment before a burst of healing emanates from him healing each of you 1d6 ⇒ 5
that should fix Natty right up and help Cilda. Anyone else even wounded? That puts Maus out of good bombs tho.

No one needs to make a save, as Natty used a mace, which doesn't cause the pus to coat anyone.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

"Shall we withdraw to my Mistresses grace?"
Maus begins to back away towards the statue room keeping his eyes down as images of his companions turned to undead flash as visions.

He stops for a moment. Blinks. Shakes his head.
"Come now friends..."

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Wait, I wasted a good roll? >:( DAMMIT!!! lol

Follows Maus back to the statues.

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Oh thank goodness.

Cilda is thankful about how Maus has healed her, but she doesn't really say so out loud. Instead, she just silently joins the group as they head back to the large, statued room from earlier to rest for a bit. She makes a point of staying away from the creepy monolith in the room, though. Knowing their current luck, it might come alive.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

We set up a rotating watch and rest our weary bodies. Maus scrubs and cleans everything he owns as best as able.
Please Chotzu, have Prestidigitation and cast it multiple times...
Maus spends his time awake in prayer, kneeling to her statue, to Pharasma asking for guidance and blessings on himself and his compatriots. He sleeps under it's shadow.

Sadly, we're only going to get 1 point back from ability loss so Maus is still -1 HP and -1 Fort saves
"Sadly, I cannot cure our listlessness as of yet."Lesser Restoration is still beyond me

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Cilda mostly spends her shift on watch walking around the camp area they set up. She's set up her tent and sleeps in there.

Yay for 1 HP gain and rage renewal.

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Updated Character sheet with ammo count and changed out Mage Armor for another Magic Missile. Also switched Mending for Predigitation.

Choztu spends the next several hours resting as best he can. The moment he awakes, his nose is in some leather bound tome, brow furloughed in concentration.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty shrugs when the party go back to the main chamber to lick their wounds. He mutters as he follows, "Is there no conviction to get this thing done and get outta here? Blah there's bound to be more treasures just waiting for us to collect them."

He takes his turn reluctantly to keep watch, more through laziness than anything else. But take his watch he does, he walks through the shadows prowling as a caged tiger, waiting for something to inadvertently come into the party's midst.

Not sure if he recovers 1 HP and the 1 Con damage overnight, but will look it up in the morning.

The night passes with no incident, but the large quiet cathedral room presses ominously upon your psyche. You awake the next morning, or what you assume to be the next morning and prepare for the coming day.

Which way you guys going?

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Back up the hall with the Festrogs? Finish out that path? sorry, again I can't see the maps so not sure if it dead ended there?

It keeps going, once we have a concensus, ill upgrade the map

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

I say, back to the monolith room.

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Back to the monolith room and forward!

"Let's get moving," Cilda says as she finished putting on the last bits of her armor and packing up the tent she brought. The room they spent the night may have been safe, but those statues gave her the creeps.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Morning Cilda my sweet, sleep well in the darkness. Hope my snores didn't disturb you." Natty says, his voice like gravel and rasping, as he takes in deep breaths, waking himself up. Then looking around "We are all safe and sound then, feeling refreshed and ready for the unknown." he winks and smiles in that way of someone who knows better.

As they move down the hallway, Natty scans ahead seeing if there are any obvious traps.

Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 for traps

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Maus is also scanning the surrounding areas for hazards and traps
Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

The room leading past the room with the festerogs leads back to a corridor that goes on for several yards. It finally ends in a double door.

Natty:
You check the door, but find no locks or traps

Next Room:
A thirty-foot-diameter pit fills this circular room, its bottom lost in darkness. The ceiling arches twenty feet above the pit, which is encircled by a narrow, five-foot-wide walkway. A door stands in the opposite wall of the room, across the pit.

Updated Map

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

"Well this looks unsafe..." Maus says nervously. As he looks at his companions, he sees each of them falling, in turn, into this bottomless chasm...
"Check the safety of this walkway well Master Natty?" and will also inspect the walkway himself for structural integrity and potential traps...
perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

There is no bridge, theres a walkway that wraps around the chasm

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Gah. Wish I could see your maps. I misunderstood again :(

OK Inspect the walkway around then :)

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

"If the stone is solid, we will be fine. But still....." Looks at Natty, "You go first."

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

"Yeah, go ahead Natty. You first." Cilda says, happy that the half-orc rogue is getting put on the spot. She takes the time to place her hammer in a sheath between her gear, and in its place draws her shortbow. The bow and arrows will be much better if they happen to get attacked on the narrow walkway.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Oh so now something is scary ask the 'MAN'." he bows to you all, "Follow my sweet, I'll make sure its safe for you." he says with glee and chuckles at Cilda, though his voice is thick with condescension.

Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 and +1 for traps
Acrobatics 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 to keep footing around walkway

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

"Someone else go after he's across," Cilda says. "Please."

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

it's a 5' wide walkway right? We shouldn't need to acrobatics over it?

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Just do not look down. Ralthak makes his way cautiously across the walkway.

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

"Good advice Ralthak." Choztu says, having a hard time moving towards the walkway. [i]"Bah boy, 'ou ain't go' the stomach fur it."[/b] he hears his father say in his head.

Shakes his head, exhales, and walks on the walkway. Hugging the wall so tightly, that he looks about to merge with the stone.

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Cilda goes after Choztu, slowly making her way across the walkway. She has put away her bow, and is walking very close to he wall, following the dwarf's example.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Maus looks away, for the most part as the others go around, to keep visions of falling companions away and then scoots around to the far side as well.

Perception

Check 10:
You swear you heard some sort of rattling or hissing coming from below you in the pit, but it could have been the wind

Perception

Check 15:
You're almost certain you just saw something move out of the corner of your eye, as if something jumped from the pit to the ceiling, but looking closer at the ceiling, you don't see anything.

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 3

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 1

To concentrated on not freaking out to notice anything.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Does Natty''s perception rolled for his journey round the pit notice the perception DCs?

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Ralthak watches his companions cross the pit, and sees nothing else.

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Cilda stops and tries to focus on the noise that she heard while inching along the walkway. She brushes it off as the wind moving, though, and continues to move forward.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Was my 21 perception before part of this or re-roll?
If needed to re-roll 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

"There is a rattling or hissing coming from below , but it could have been the wind..."
Maus focuses closer and alerts you all: "Something is moving, as if from the pit to the ceiling... But there is naught there now. Has anyone a bag of flour or sand? We may be stalked by the invisible..."

All new perception rolls as you were looking for traps, and this is a different item. Also note that you can't take 10 on this

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Not liking what he hears, Natty suddenly breaks into a run

Natty will take a 10 then ... for a 15 and a 10 for a 17 acrobatics to run around the ledge to the far door.

Just as Natty reaches the other end, the source of the hissing and rattling is reveiled. A large shape jumps down from the ceiling and lands in front of the door, cutting off your escape. Made from the skeletal body of a constrictor snake, the creature has the head of a fanged human skull. It rattles as it moves to attack Natty.

Player Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Necrophidius Initiatice 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

The creature stares at everyone and begins to twist and turn its bones in a rhythmic dance.

All characters roll a Will save - DC 15 - If failed, you are dazed for 2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4 rounds

Player Turn, Round 1, Go!

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Will 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Die, undead worm Ralthak swings at the snake. But misses horribly as it sways.

Attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Is this a fear effect and/or an arcane spell? I just want to ask so that I know if the proper modifiers from my traits apply. A +1 to save if it's an arcane spell, and a +2 if it's a fear effect. Now then...

Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

I guess we can ignore the modifiers for that then! :)

Cilda's too far away from the creature, having gone around between Choztu and Maus. she draws her shortbow and readies an arrow. Whatever spasms the undead snake is trying to do have no effect on her. She fires an arrow at the skeletal beast. She also moves a bit closer to the bone worm.

Attack 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 1 - 4 = 15
If that damages: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Will save 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Dazed: The creature is unable to act normally. A dazed creature can take no actions, but has no penalty to AC.
I'm out for 4 rounds :(

Maus is infatuated by the rhythm and stands slack jawed... There may even be a little drool

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty not wanting to be near the snake like creature, attempts to jump over its head and land on the other side setting up a position to target the bone snake for some serious damage.

Will Save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Acrobatics 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Mace attack 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7 flanking Damage 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (5) = 7

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Not quite understanding what the thing was attempting to accomplish, launches a bolt of acid at it.

Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Assuming that the thing does not have an AC 22+, Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

The spell struck true, but not in a vital area.

Cilda's arrow strikes true, but the arrow bounces off the skeleton worm as if it had no effect. It chatters loudly as its struck by Choztu's acid attack.

Resolve damage to AC 15, touch 13, flat-footed 12, and the ability wasn't fear based, it was mind affecting

The creature leans up as high as it can before trying to sink it's fanged teeth into Ralthak

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

But the attack goes wide as Ralthak steps out of the way.

Round 2, Player Turn, Go!

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Fires another bolt of acid.

Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

A momentary lapse in focus causes the spell to fly wide of the target.

@Choztu - If you were playing this with me at a table, I would have gotten you to draw from the Fumble deck

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Now flanking with Natty, Ralthak swings again, this time smashing it squarely and roaring with triumph

Attack 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 = 23

Crit Confirm 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 = 23

Damage 4d4 + 8 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 3) + 8 = 18

Gotta love a falchion
