Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Did the spiders see Natty or not, previously rolled stealth of 18. I'll make it clearer next time.

Natty attacks a spider, after trying to move into a flanking position, but he finds the hard shell of the spider hard to crack.

Mace attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 and if Natty is flanking or not seen by the spider 1d6 ⇒ 1

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Acid Splash Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2

Acid spashes on one of the spiders and it shreeks in pain as it slowly disolves from the damage.

Spider Turn, Round 2

Both spiders turn from their previous target and jump at closer targets. One leaps on Natty and the other on Cilda.

Make AoO on the Spiders as they invade your square

Spider #1 Attacks Cilda with Bite 1d20 ⇒ 18
Spider #1 Attacks Natty with Bite 1d20 ⇒ 19

Both hit, make Fort saves

Player Turn, Round 2, Go!

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Fort Save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Natty withdraws from close combat with the spider, as he loudly mutters curses and vengeance on the black skulled creatures as the poison starts to course through his body. "B*****d vermin, poisoned me!" He spits on the ground as he moves away from the spiders threat into a shadowy part of the hall out of reach of the 8-legged aggressors.

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Points at the spider that Natty moved away from, and says, "Dissolve."

Acid Splash:
Touck Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Another glowing bolt launches from his amulet and strikes the floor just short of the spider.

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Ralthak steps up the the nearest spider and swipes with his falchion again.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

And once again misses. Stand still you little gits

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Fort Save 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Guess that's a save right there, yay!

Attack of Opportunity 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

As the spider attempts to land a bite on Cilda, she is able to use her weapon's long reach to get a quick attack in on it before it gets too close.

damage from attack of opportunity 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Cilda becomes enraged that these stupid pests aren't being easier to kill than she thought, and are actually doing damage to the rest of the group. She lets out an angry shout and launches a powerful attack on the spider that had attacked Natty. Entered rage state, and is using the Power Attack feat.

1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 1 = 17 +7 due to STR increase from rage, and -1 due to Power Attack

Unfortunately, this spider proves to be more troublesome, and it scurries out of the way.

2nd round in rage state, apologies for huge post

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

If you need to make a large post, make a large post :)

Maus uses his free hand to draw an arcane symbol and he chants words of power. The water in the air coalesces into an icicle and then darts out at the remaining spider 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 2 - 4 = 4 (touch attack)
And if it hits it does 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

The icicle shatters against the floor sending little jewels of water across the room.

Clida smashes the spider coming at her to a fine paste on the floor. The last remaining spider begins to follow Natty as he runs away, but instead turns and leaps at Cilda

Clida make another AoO, your good at those

The Spider sinks its teeth into Cilda 1d20 ⇒ 20

Cilda make a Fort Save again

Players Turn, Round 3, Go!

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Ralthak slashes again

attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 = 9

Now you are mine

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Seriously? A 20? After an 18 and a 19? WTF????

"NO YOU DON'T!" screams Cilda, as the spider tries to take a bite into her. She uses her weapon to smack it out of the way before it could possibly come any closer.

Fort. save 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 Nuts, looks like that's a hit

Attack of Opportunity, while still enraged 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Damage from the AoO 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

"DIE! DIE YOU WORTHLESS BUG!" she yells as her weapon misses her attack. She screams as the bug lands a hit on her, but that only serves to make her anger even greater. She makes another attack on the spider.

Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

But again, her weapon seems to miss the spider.
3rd round in rage so far, 2nd in this fight

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Frustrated with his lack of accuracy, Choztu screams, "ENOUGH!" Points at the spider and says, "Arcanas ballistalas."

A golden bolt of energy flies out of his amulet with incredible speed and strikes the vermin solidly in it's midsection.

Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

"I'm feeling rather [cough cough] unhealthy. Filthy creatures."

Maus touches his fingers to the skull backed corpse of one of the creatures (Lore Keeper (At will) (Sp) By touch, learn about a creature with a Knowledge check result of 20.)to learn more about what we just fought.

"these were...blank filled in by Terce ..."

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty turns to make sure the spider isn't following him, instead he sees it's turned its attention to Cilda. His face breaks into a twisted smile at his good fortune, and then making use of the darkness and the shadows down here he moves into the shadows once more. He sheathes his dagger.

Stealth 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

"these were... skull spiders" As the last spider explodes from the magic missile.

Everyone gains 100 xp

Natty, you have 1d2 ⇒ 2 of con damage
Cilda, you have 1d2 ⇒ 2 of con damage

Everyone who was bitten by a spider and failed a single fort save. I need you all to roll another for your system to cleanse itself of the toxin, unless you have a vial of antitoxin. Save is DC 10. If you fail, you will lose some more con

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Maus retrieves his weapons and cleans them before re-sheathing.
"Well that was a exciting? These creatures don't appear to have done any damage I can repair I'm afraid."

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Mutters, "Damn vermin making me waste my resources.....*inaudible string of curses*" While making sure the bolt is secure in his crossbow.

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Fort save for poison, now out of rage state 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

"About. Damn. Time," Cilda says, thankful that the pests have all been squished to oblivion. She takes a quick look at the bite mark the skull spider left her before it got squished. She's seen worse.

"Good work people," she tells everyone, leaning against the wall to survey the aftermath. "Let's get moving before more of those things show up. We don't want to get swamped with those little pests.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Fort Save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Natty comes over in perspiration as his body fights the poison, though feeling a little queasy he smiles, glad the spiders are no more. "But maybe they've collected something in their nest, wouldn't it be nice to find something." Natty asks Cilda, "I mean I came down he for a profit too you know, and that nice cleric said anything we found is ours." the rogue continued with avarice in his voice from within the darkness afforded by the coffins.

DM Tierce:

If Cilda doesn't reiterate the desire to move on and everyone else wants to move on, Natty moves on too, otherwise he searches for the spiders nests looking for treasure and valuable things.
Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

"Disturb the dead as little as possible Natty" cautions Maus.

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

"Hey, if you want to get jumped by eight thousand more of those things, be my guest Natty," Cilda tells him. "We should just wait, clear out the other areas down here, and THEN we'll come back for looting." As tempted as Cilda is to search for treasure in the room, she knows the dead won't be leaving any time soon.

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Could be something useful. I say we take a look.

Edit: No Treasure is found in the room with the spiders and corpses

Moving into the next room, you are awe struck by it's size. The ceiling of this cavernous chamber vaults to a height of sixty feet, forming an architectural wonder unsupported byany visible columns or buttresses. Forty feet overhead, a wide stone bridge with an elaborately carved railing arches over the chamber from north to south, joining two sets of
massive bronze doors at either end. The central portion of the chamber contains an inlaid spiral symbol and is recessed into the floor, with eight staircases leading up to a wide ledge that encircles the room ten feet above. On this ledge stand bronze doors to the east and west. Eight larger-than-life statues stand upon the ledge as well, evenly spaced around the room’s circumference—seven carved from white stone, and the eighth carved from black stone.

Updated Map

"Ancestors deserve their peace. Do not disturb them."

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

"Well spoken Choztu"

Maus will inspect the statues. do they represent anyone he might recognize?
Know(religion) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 or History 1d20 ⇒ 4

Is there any way up to the bridge or no?

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Ancestors, they have given nothing yet, except hiding places for those spiders. You heard them stories from Osirion, them ancestors make every effort to keep what's there's. Bet they're the same down here too." says a disappointed Natty. He is wary of the ornate floor, and spends his time looking for traps before doing any thing else.

Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

You guys are actually on the bridge and its a thirty foot drop to the area below. I won't take roles on the statues unless you try to jump down to examine them

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

"Well...wasn't expecting this." Cilda says as she looks around the room.

She looks down from the bridge they're on to the area where the statues are, and while she is impressed by the room's size, she tries to not stand around gawking. She walks over to the door and tests to see if it's locked, barred, or otherwise won't open.

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

"You got to admire the craftsmanship." Choztu says in awe.

You open the doors at the opposite end, and you see a long corridor. You walk to the end and it comes to a T junction with a corridor leading off to the east and west

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Hmmm. I'm not sure how much I like the fact that these doors were unlocked at the very beginning.

"This is..surprisingly empty," Cilda says aloud to no one in particular. She yells over to the rest of the group to check out the room she just entered.

Perception for the new room 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

How about instead of dropping 30 feet I attach a rope to the rail and slide down safely then inspect?

If you would like to do that, please make a climb check for whomever climbs down to look at everything

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty looks away at the idea of climbing down the rope. "Nah, I'll take the stairs, when we find 'em." he sniggers and looks down at the floor. "Mind you, if you wanna wander straight over the walkway, who knows how quickly you'll make it to the lower floor." He takes a rope tying it round his waist and securing it to the walkway before he starts a painstakingly careful search of the walkway, looking for anything untoward, until he reaches the door at the far end, where he continues to see if there's anything deadly there.

Perception for traps 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Cilda heads back to the bridge and hears the group talk about climbing down with a rope. "I can take care of climbing down there" she volunteers.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

I'll knot my rope every few feat and then tie it to the rail near the South wall. Should be a fairly easy climb check. DC5?

"Cilda if you would like to go first, by all means. I will be right behind you."

After Cilda climbs down Maus removes his shield and then starts down as well. Climb: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Cilda places her weapon through its holder on her back and begins to climb down the rope to the level 30 feet below.

Climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Dwarf Wizard 1 (HP 7 | AC 12 | Tch 12 | FF 10 | F +1 | R +2 | W +2 | SR 6 | Init +2 | Perc 0)

Well I can't just let them go off by themselves. You're going to be okay. Choztu thinks to himself, trying to calm his fear of heights.

Starts to climb down the rope.
Climb: 1d20 ⇒ 5

If that's a fail, this could hurt.

You climb down with no issue, and you can now clearly see that the floor is marked with unusual symbols. You can now clearly see all of the statues, seven of which are made from white marble, one made of black

Knowledge History

Check 15:
You realise that the seven statues in white marble are of the seven Runelords of Ancient Thassilon.

Knowledge Religion

Check 20:
The black statue is an ancient representation of Pharasma. It is threefold in form, portraying a tall woman with three faces looking in three different directions. One side has a kind face and cradles a baby in its arms, while a second
side displays a more stern expression and holds an hourglass. The third face has a crazed look; its hands are empty, but thornless roses twine up both arms. Pharasma in her three aspects: the midwife, the reaper, and the prophet.

Choztu, as you climb down, the rope becomes too slippery for you to hold on too and you feel the ropes slip from your grasp.

Reflex Save

M Half Orc Inquisitor 1

Great, a party that likes to do things the hard way I will follow once you are down After the rope is clear, Ralthack will climb down.

Climb Check 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

I relay the following to the group:
"The black statue is an ancient representation of Pharasma. It is threefold in form, portraying a tall woman with three faces looking in three different directions. One side has a kind face and cradles a baby in its arms, while a second side displays a more stern expression and holds an hourglass. The third face has a crazed look; its hands are empty, but thornless roses twine up both arms. Pharasma in her three aspects: the midwife, the reaper, and the prophet."

Maus genuflects to each facet of the statue. Showing reverence to aspects of his goddess. This Amazing work of Art should be brought to an active temple he thinks. This information will be passed to his superiors.
He stands and dusts the statue off showing his deference. He is captured by the eyes of the facet of the prophet and is sure that it looks down at him. A chill passes over him.
"Whoever these other representations are, they were on the correct path"

What information can be gleaned from the statues as to who might have been worshiping my mistress so long ago?

Female Human (Kellid ethnicity) Barbarian 1, Scarred Rager Archetype

Yadda yadda statue of goddess, ok got it.

"So...what exactly do we have down here? Cilda goes to the top of one of the stairs that lead down into the recessed portion of the floor, and begins walking down.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

As everyone goes down the rope, Natty stays on the bridge whilst they investigate the floor, keeping a watchful eye and his crossbow primed for any danger approaching. Once everything is secure below Natty speaks,"So you gonna leave the rope here, when I come down? How you gonna loosen it up here if we're all down there?" the half-orc says smirking. He then descends the rope.

Climb 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

"Yes we should leave it there in case we need to use it to get back up."
Anyone else have rope I hope?

Natty begins to climb down, but his grasp on the rope begins to slip. However he catches himself about 10 feet down, skinning his hands in the process

Take 1d6 ⇒ 5 of non-lethal

Make another climb check to continue moving down

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

Waiting on Chotzu's save. I will throw out at least one Good Bomb (Channel Energy) 1d6 ⇒ 6 to heal all injured party members within 30'.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Ow! damn climbing about like monkeys." Natty grumbles and spits, as his hands grip the rope once more and he lowers himself to the ground. As his feet touch the ground he stares at the cleric, "Satisfied you have found your god, what good she does!" he growls, eyes wide and angry.

He turns on his heels and looks at the stinging welts on his hands, "Well I won't be able to do much with traps for a while, best not find any." he grumbles and turns, sitting down by the statue, disgruntled.

Climb 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Male Human (Chelaxian) Cleric 1, HP:9,(8) AC:18, t:12, ff:16, Init +2, Percep +9, Saves Fort +3 (+2), Ref +2, Will +6

"Your failure to navigate a rope has nothing to do with my goddess," as the channeled energy surges through the room. "But her grace is unmistakable in the repair of your failure."
