I should know better by now than to use enemies with Improved Critical. At least he's not AS bad as Gortus. Round 1: OHKO on Cyrdic. Round 2: DECAPITATIOOOOOOON! on Slick. Round 3: "Disarms" Jrahk. I imagine he could have kept going like that until your entire crew was dead.

I think one final thing you guys need to add to your quick bars is your Damage Rank. In SatAm's case it looks like 18 (15+2 Strength+1 Improvised Weapon).

Madd! shrugs off Saturday's attack like it wasn't even made, chair splintering on his tough hide.

Well, just like Pathfinder, you can trade a Standard for an extra Move. So your options are: Wait until next round to Teleport, then put it on Amoeba, or teleport up there now, and get whacked by Madd, who goes next.

If it makes anyone feel better I've gotten a MUCH better feel for the mechanics of the game with this fight and encounter balance will probably be a bit smoother from here on out.

That is probably irrelevant, as there will not be fights or encounters from here on out, judging by the way things are going.

I've been doing damage wrong, shit. OKAY.

You are only knocked unconscious if yo are Staggered AND THEN fail another Toughness check by three degrees. MEANING, Amoeba is awake and Staggered, as-is SATURDAY MORNING.

So, Amoeba and SatAm have actions pending, and Cogito was never knocked out either, he is also Staggered. I am so very sorry about that. I was wondering why Toughness checks were so damn hard if it was simply a matter of progressing along a track like that.
