There is actually a solution to fix things. I don't set people impossible tasks. It just means something other then run over and hit things.

so did Usawoti kill the dragon trying to rend his armor with an AOO? Not that I'm complaining, I'm just trying to keep up. Did I miss anything?
No, actually.
You guys had posted two turns of action, resolved in:
- Inarus One (dialogue came after U1, below)
- Usawoti One (dialogue came before I1, above, but specified actions took place after Inarus')
- <bad guys one; including drake crunches on Usawoti's armor>
- - - (I hadn't gotten a chance to make this post, when...) - - -
- Inarus Two
- Usawoti Two (you smash a drake's face)
- <bad guys two>
- - - (I processed I1, U1, bad1, I2, U2, and bad2 here) - - -
- Inarus Three nope -> Inarus Three
- Usawoti Three
I... think I managed them in order, properly...
Does that help?
Did I miss anything?
Seems like you're caught up? :)

On a more serious note - do I just get to handle things while hampered (i.e - can I animate my body any number of times per day, just 36 rounds at a go?) or am I living on borrowed time as in I have only 36 rounds to do things, then I'll be a stone statue permanently? If I am living on borrowed time, then it's probably better for me to be carted around wherever I go, then animated when it really matters, and I will keep track of the rounds that I've been animated, just so I don't bust my 36 round life limit.
Tacticslion |
Technically, it's once per day for 36 minutes, but I'm going to recommend that Inarus do some... "self exploration" - for some weird reason he finds you know, nevermind, that should probably go in Gameplay...
Tacticslion |
As an unrelated aside, based entirely on the discussions we've already had, this is a pretty delightful Egyptian river...
GM Tacticslion |
There are now five passages you see radiating from this central one.
EXPLORED! The first is, of course, the one you came from originally. No mephits fled this way, and the direction you came from leads to two side passages - one of which had a frozen and well-separated dragon corpse, the other of which had lots of messy corpses - and they hypothetical (but really hard to get back to) place you came from in the top of the tower (where you'd fought some smoky air elementals and a white dragon).
EXPLORED! The second had been inhabited by dust mephits, but extremely few of the surviving mephits of any kind fled down that way. You have now explored that, and added three dust mephits, leaving the cowering fiendish air mephit alone.
PARTIALLY EXPLORED! The third had been inhabited by air mephits, and a large number of survivors of all kinds had fled down that path - more than any other path, and including those that first fled from Inarus' intimidation, and most that fled the central area. The one mephit to stay conscious after Inarus' fireball - the dust mephit - had also fled down this way, even while swearing vengeance. You'd followed this one part way, but then returned after coming to a very suspicious-looking split hallway with nastiness all around.
EXPLORED! The fourth was the one that lightning mephits had inhabited, and the one that the majority of that kind had fled down, as had a few of the different kinds.
EXPLORED! The fifth was the one the smoke mephits had inhabited, and the one that the majority of that kind had fled down, as had a few of the different kinds. Following the best understanding you could glean from confused mephits, you followed this after the air mephit hall. You discovered -after a dip of unbreathable dead air - a tangled and gnarled wall of growth, beyond which was a set of vicious and deadly mutant fiendish "feather-beak" creatures resided. Most of the mephits you'd gathered died, but of the three survivors, you regenerated and named one - Chandruu, the "shoulder mephit" of Usawoti - and have kept the others in his backpack; you managed to destroy the vile creatures, collect the left-overs and acquire some rare herbs that can aid in reincarnation, as well as clothing for Inarus' humanoid form(s).
GM Tacticslion |
I'm not saying that I'm basically going to copy/past that into the Gameplay thread, again, again, after a few edits to reflect the most current events...
Definitely not saying that... out loud... unless you count the sound of clacking keyboard keys as "saying that out loud" because, if you do, then I'm totally saying that out loud.

I wanted to say something, then I forgot.
Oh yes. EXPLOSIVE RUNES! Yes. I must tell you about my crazy plan to make a huge bomb!
a) Get an adamantine block (adamantine has hardness 20, 6d6 is average) with the words, "This is a bomb" in Auran on it -"So it bears written information"
b) Inscribe explosive runes while pumping your caster level (There was some ioun stone someplace. It's easier to do it as a divine caster, but again you can't get explosive runes unless rune domain...there's incense of meditation, candle of invocation, death knell(eek!), but again you might be able to UMD)
c) Inscribe explosive runes on the block. Many Many Many. Like 100.
d) Familiar that is attuned to the explosive runes throws the block at the BBEG.
e) Get an air elemental to go near the BBEG, and read the words, "This is a bomb."
The explosive runes detonate when read, so get the air elemental to read it, and watch the world blow up.
Is the theory sound?

Your theory sounds sound, but what do I know?
.... wouldn't just whacking the thing with a stick, like a bajillion times, be easier...
Ok, going to read the next round of gobbildy gook cool stuff, and will try and come up with a post that makes Usawoti sound really interested smart.
I jest of course and apparently g-o-o-k is a cuss word somewhere...

No! We don't wack things with sticks! That's rule No. 1 of *Magic4Life* club. Of course, no one's stopping you from turning into a dragon and going bite, claw, claw, wingslap, tailsmack people.
You see, whacking things with sticks suffers from some issues. You have to not roll a natural 1, deal with AC, deal with DR, watch out for things like displacement and mirror image. Or stoneskin...
Whereas imagine, if you could make a bomb of 100 explosive runes, it'd be 6d6 X 100 dmg, so that'd be 600d6 assuming no SR. And you could do it all in your downtime!
And if it's near the bbeg, look at this:
Anyone next to the explosive runes (close enough to read them) takes the full damage with no saving throw.
Force damage is only subject to hardness and not resist energy, as well.
Nevermind - this is just really idle theory. I've NEVER tested out the practical yet. I think the world might blow apart but I've also got a large streak of mad scientist in me. FOR SCIENCE!

Thanks. I shall get back to hitting the books.
For picking cars, how big are your parking lots? For smoother long distance driving, bigger cars are more stable, but the issue is petrol consumption and whether you can fit the car into a lot(an issue here).
I spend time cursing that those architects who built parking lots must have never driven before, since I have no clue how you turn a big car into the curving ramp up the multi story carpark. Radius is too small.

Standard Parking space size
The standard recommended size of a parking space is 8.5 feet wide. However, parking spaces can be anywhere from 7.5 to 9 feet wide. The standard recommended size of a parking space is 8.5 feet wide.
Parking's not a bid deal, were spread out here in the mid-west, she likes Honda 'accords' looking at a 2005 Honda accord this will be her fourth accord since college. I picked this image since it showed a 'standard' parking spot
The last one got hit and was too expensive to fix, so insurance gave her it's 'value.' She will add some she had saved and look within that range.
She really likes the 'accord' front wheel drive, good size and decent gas mileage.

Ah ok - we usually go for Nissans for their fuel economy. 1500 cc at else you can't really cut it when you go driving long distance in Malaysia. Though the easiest parking was my uncle's cherry QQ(you appreciate small and short in cities), but it had a whole host of other problems, like a malfunctioning clutch...probably due to a lack of servicing.

My human is with his family atm, so I guess no rush.
No worries, go enjoy the play? I am guessing its a play?
There's also a point that freedom is good for everyone...but when people start abusing their freedom by murderhoboing everything in sight...yeah Inarus is beginning to have second thoughts on releasing things. It's not right to dictate what people do, but again it's not right to just let people do what they want and start causing harm to others...
But can you make a sweeping statement and declare everyone must be under your control, or doesn't deserve their freedom? That's not right, either.
Oh morality...why art thou such a dubious creature...

We don't know what sickness he's currently suffering from, or if drinking alcohol would contridict his religious beliefs. But that's the first time I've heard wine for stomach problems.
Shouldn't it be boiled ginger? I'd recommend boiled ginger with brown sugar for stomach problems.
Tacticslion |
I do not, though, humorously (well, I suppose?), in this case it was my stomach.
Because I was suffering from food poisoning, I wasn't able to stay at the computer and focus long enough to do much.
Then, by the time I recovered enough that I could, I basically suffered headaches for unrelated reasons until my ADD overwhelmed any attempt at focusing on what I want to.
Anyway, I'm fundamentally opposed to any personal consumption of alcohol - for one, it makes me nauseous and headache-y; for two, I've seen it destroy too many relatives; and for three, I suspect I've a mildly addictive personality (hence my nerd obsessions). I recognize that it can be fine for others, but it has such a powerful negative connotation for me (most importantly for number two) that I have a negative emotional reaction to anything involving it. (This is one of the reasons I don't like Cayden in PF.) That said, it's just my personal reaction, and doesn't automatically reflect negatively on individuals who choose to partake (so long as they do so in moderation).
Anyway! Update: get! Sorry for the delay!

Are you suffering from dengue or something like that? Sounds like something chronic.
BTW - each time I kill a character/screw a character over I don't get a good night's sleep because I need to move things along so that matters will get resolved. Bloody paperwork.
Tacticslion |
Definitely not dengue fever, but I suppose it could be something annoyingly chronic? If so, it was acquired this year, back when I got really sick.
I do suffer from allergies, and sometimes during this whole thing, allergy medication has eliminated the symptoms. The problem is that it doesn't always, plus sometimes I suffer worse than others.
Anyway, it's irritating is what I'm saying.
It's also frustrating because my energy levels fluctuate not just day to day, but literally hour to hour. I couldn't stay awake tonight after reading the next chapter of my son's night-time book (and, in fact, was falling asleep while reading it - not because of the book, but just because), and we both fell asleep together, and I only woke up because I had to use the restroom. After I did so, I took the next hour, woke up thoroughly, and, though I'm sick and have a cough, I'm pretty comfortable and solidly awake, now.
The most frustrating thing, though, is that it's almost every week that something happens, and it's interfering with my attempts to get healthier (by practicing at TKD). It's kind of gotten ludicrous.
I have to keep texting my Taekwondo sabonmim all about things like:
> This week is an allergy attack! I tried, bless my heart, but I can't breathe.
> This week, I'm cool! I am super out of shape from sickness, but cool! no texts needed
> This week, it's a powerful cold.
> This week, it's a cough so bad I can't do many physical things, and I get a headache and see stars because of the coughing fits.
> Oh, this week I'm fine - I'm super out of shape, and can't breathe because of it, but fine. no text needed
> This week it's a high fever (acquired from my Eldest son).
> This week, it's food poisoning. Incidentally, this really was a case of food poisoning.
So that's been my last seven weeks (based only off memory - I might have gotten something wrong - I dunno, I've been sick a lot;
these are not actual texts, just the things that keep coming up), and it goes on that way back to February of this year.
I mean, so far, this week, I'm better than I was (food poisoning moved on through), but the cough I got at the time of my most recent fever has persisted, now, for two weeks after said fever broke. It suuuuuuuuuuucks.
Oh, and somewhere in the middle of all of this, I went to the doctor. Of course, that was the week that I was basically perfectly healthy...
>.>
... dang it.
:I
Ah, well. It may well be a season of life I'm going through. Maybe literally. Either way, I'm sorry for how it's been impacting my life, and I apologize for how it's been negatively affecting you guys by crushing my concentration levels.

A 2 week fever is NOT natural. Have you tried sunning yourself like a lizard? Getting outside more? Or more sleep? Bad sleeping habits also can cause illness.
