In my opinion inspire courage does not work on spell damage, only on the touch attack needed

Jesal touches the sailor in front of him and sets the man on fire, killing him! On the main deck Captain Harrigan whirls around, drawing a silver pistol in the twist and shoots a gapping hole in the lurking enemy's head! He salutes Alabaster and the disappears as the mists close again.

The sailor that dropped his crossbow moves to Jesal and attacks him with his shortsword but misses. The remaining crossbowman on the sterncastle misses Isaac. The man next to Alabaster shakes his head, as if he was momentarily distracted by Edward's spell.

With a vicious slash Alabaster kills the enemy sailor that was recovering from Edward's spell. Arhiel's eagle hits the sailor near Jesal with a talon. Arhiel tries to target the same man with a spell, but the mists spoil her aim. Isaac then joins the fray, stepping up and almost skewering the enemy on his cutlass, killing him.

Miss: 1d100 ⇒ 38
Jesal steps forward, up the stairs leading to the stern castle and drives his spear up through the belly of the last enemy standing on the stern castle. The man backs up slightly and drops his crossbow while saying "Please spare me!" You take the moment to look around and see that the battle is still in full swing on the rest of the ship, although your companions from the Wormwood seem to have the upper hand.

Alabaster takes a five foot step diagonally up and right, and reloads his pistol for his move action. His standard action is using his water blessing to add 1d4 ice damage to his cutlass, or using a fervor to channel and heal his teammates that need it, whichever comes first.

Alabaster moves onto the stairs, almost the where Arhiel's grease spell starts, and reload his pistol. He then takes aim in the general direction of the main deck while speaking to the others over his shoulder.
Salt, best be makin' a choice on tha' one quick like, I bet me boots thar's about ta be more o' em comin'!

"Jesal, spare him if you will... he might make good crew material... let Harrigan sort them out after the battle... no need to kill needlessly."

Arhiel climbs the stairs and stands at the wheel, using her meager skills as a sailor to hold the ship steady with the wormwood.

prof sailor, take 10: 10 + 6 = 16

"Boys, the wheel is secure... let's make sure it stays ours... defend the stairs..."

She sends her eagle to help in another fight so it doesn't attack the one that surrendered to Jesal... it wheels off and attacks another fighting member of the enemy vessel.

Still in combat, will need to maximize actions.

Salt steps to the right, tells the man to pick up his crossbow and throw it over the edge. He will then drop his spear, grab some nearby rope (it's a ship, right?) with a move action and tie him up with a standard action.

Next round he will retrieve his spear and see what else he can do based on enemies.

GM G, are the boats suspended on ropes? Are we able to cut the ropes to prevent the sailors from getting on the escape boats?

Tears at Bitter Manor

The boats are hanging on ropes, see this picture for an example. You could cut the ropes, the boats would then fall into the water and most likely drift away

You prepare yourselves for what's next to come, defending the stairs while Arhiel grabs the wheel. Peering through the fog you see shapes in combat on the main deck while everything near you is rather quiet. That does not last long...

Isaac bolsters himself, ready for the assault. He squints, trying to make out Rosie.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

When the explosion rocks the ship, Isaac grits his teeth as he tries to stay on his feet. The Would-Be Captain calls out, "Steady. Ease yerselves, lads and lass. Guard th' wheel and th' boats. If need be... cut th' boats from their ropes. Aid each other if need be."

When the enemies come through, Isaac shouts, "Surrender now! Drop yer weapons!"

Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Intimidation working in tandem. :)

Tears at Bitter Manor

Three enemy sailors suddenly appear out of the mists and run towards the starboard boat! Isaac and Edward yell at them and they start untying the knots that secure the boat.

You stopped inspire: start inspire or jab sailor, not both. And it isn't possible to 5ft step on stairs

Tears at Bitter Manor

Arhiel misses with her bolt, due to the mists. Alabaster runs down the stairs towards the sailors, but his aim is also off due to that annoying patch of fog.

Jesal will move down the stairs to the west and unleash his remaining fire belly breath unless Isaac gets in his way.

Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3 fire (DC15 Reflex for half)

Tears at Bitter Manor

Jesal, first to post is first to act, so Isaac can't get in the way

Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

The two outer sailors manage to avoid most of the blast, but the middle gets the full fire breath in his face!

No 5ft on a stairs? Not even with an acrobatics check maybe?
Ok, it's stab the sailor then.

Tears at Bitter Manor

Edward steps forward and stabs at the sailor. His fancy footwork on the stairs needed all his attention and he misses.
