Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.

Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.

Sense Motive.

if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.

Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.

Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...

Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: You are villains. Villains are smart, resourceful and have style! Have you ever seen a memorable villain that could just swing his sword and do nothing more?

Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).

Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

Sorry for my absence my recent addiction to pokemon go has had me going outside lately. Haven't been on the computer as much. I swear I probably got more exercise this week than in the last ten years put together.

A note about Fire Resistance and Protection:

Everyone has 108 points of Fire Protection. This will be used up first. Tzadkiel has made all his reflex saves and has taken half damage from 4 fireballs. Total damage is 68, leaving 40 points of Protection remaining. When this is gone the Resistance 20 will kick in and we will ignore the first 20 from each source. I wanted to make sure we are all on the same page here. Please let me know if you start to take damage as the Life Link will kick in when you are down at least 5 points.

Thanks for the clarification on Protection from Fire. I apparently missed that Tzad had also cast that upon the group! That means Varn has taken no fire damage yet and only has 20 points of Protection left after the last blast.

Exactly how far away is the caster from Varn and the others? I need to know to determine which spell to use next...


Assuming you are standing next to the controls at the top you are 110 feet from the one who tried to summon, the other two who engaged with spears are 40 feet away and another is 100 feet away.

Metals bars block the way for Orlando he cannot enter the room unless he can squeeze in between the metals bars (only possible for a small creature)

He could jump down into the elevator shaft a 20 foot drop.

Ugh, didn't realize that Protection took damage before Resist took effect. Half damage from all the fireballs + 5 from being near the floor is 56 hp, leaving 52 Protection. Her 25 Fire Resistance will kick in once that's gone.

As Aeron takes damage half of it is transferred to Ezekial. Total of 36 regular damage. I do not think any fire gets through with Resist 20 even if the Protection is down. so 18 to Aeron and Ezekial. As the damage comes through the mythic spell and Tzadkiel sees that Aeron is grappled he releases some of his divine energy to try to free the fighter. Casts Liberating Command as an immediate action. Aeron can make an excape Artist check to break the grapple at +16

Reflex save: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14

The fireball catches Tzadkiel unaware and he would have taken its full damage but the protection of Milani suffices and absorbs it all.

On Ezekial's turn he takes 5 points of damage through the life link and Aeron heals 5. Lith returns to his oracle ally and Tzadkiel calls out Finish one already. He delays his action in case his healing is needed.

Much like Tzad, Varn was caught off guard by the sudden fireball that strikes them all; however, thankfully the protective spells protecting him absorb all the fiery blast. He then sighs in irritation before quickly casting a spell empowered by his mythic abilities as then suddenly soars out above the the salamanders. "I've had about enough of this nonsense!"

-1 MP to activate Wild Arcana to cast Fly. Move Action - Fly over the top of the Wall of Fire and hover in the air approximately 30' above the ground in between the two groups of salamanders. If that is not an appropriate set of actions, please let me know Merc and I will advise a different set of actions.


There are metal bars blocking the way for Varn to fly that way he would need to go down the elevator shaft to go down into the room.

The other front liner took a little bit of damage and one in the pool is hurt while the other is still fresh.

The fresh one in the pool begins casting a summoning spell (only Tzad, Orlando and Othello can see him)

Tessai steps away from the wall's scorching heat again but doesn't manage to jump away from the fireball. Luckily, between Tzad's magic and her own natural inurement to heat, the magical flames don't even singe her hair.

Trying to avoid the magical attack, though, makes her miss the salamander's incoming tail, and it smacks hard into her chest before coiling around her and trying to squeeze her to death. The paladin slashes down at the salamander's tail, trying to sever it before it crushes her.

I believe the dispel takes the highest spell first. Both Communal Resist Fire and Communal Delay Poison are 3rd level. But communal Protection from Fire was 4th. So if Aeron has any of that remaining it goes first. if not its random.

High is Resist Fire. Low is Delay Poison
