In the distance, you can see that the Baron's zeppelin has stopped dropping the pods. A towering viewscreen appears on the side of the zeppelin. A thin, crane-like man dressed in a labratory smock and wearing technician's goggles dominates the screen.

Welcome Guardians! Do you like my new troops?

Ze are of pure Aryan stock, painstakingly extracted from German graves around ze vorld and melded wiz my advanced alchemical technology!

Not only are ze nigh-unkillable, but ze WON'T STAY DEAD! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahaha...*cough*phlegm*

Even as he speaks, the various bits and pieces of the downed soldiers stir to unlife attempting to join once more hand to arm, arm to torso, torso to ...skull.

In the distance, several RZN with jetpacks escort one of the Mecha as it docks with the zeppelin.

Ah! My children have brought me a little present I see. I have waited so long for zees moment, it would be a crime not to greet them. Auf Wiedersehen, Silver!

With that last remark, the Baron turns off the screen and the zeppelin changes heading...straight for the center of town!

Elder Human Mage 20/ Planeswalker 10/ Engineer 10

Silver, the remains of the Mecha have a few squirming remains of the Robot Zombie pilot inside of them but it is piecing itself together too slowly to matter. The entire thing weighs approximately 50 tons (Weight Rank 11). The zeppelin is flying at height of ~900 ft (Distance Rank 5) and is about 1 mile (Distance Rank 8) from your current position at HQ.

Perception/Technology DC <10:
It's a balloon.

Perception/Technology DC 10:
It's a blimp. The large cross thing in back is a tail of some sort with a huuuuge propeller. People ride inside the box attached to the underside.

Perception/Technology DC 15:
It's a zeppelin that seems to have been painstakingly detailed to resemble the original Hindenburg. In addition to numerous improvements to aerodynamic stability, the underside carriage appears to have cannons sticking out of it!

Perception/Technology DC 20+:
Thanks to advances in science, the zeppelin is only half the size of the Hindenburg at just a mere 400 ft from stem to stern and only 100 ft high and 100 ft wide. The passenger carriage and control room have been joined together to form one long oblong armored flying fortress. The drop pods were apparently stored within the "balloon" itself. What remains to be explained is how the Baron is keeping such a heavy thing afloat (normal helium would not have enough lift in such a compressed space) and how did he get it so close to the city without any warning?

Elder Human Mage 20/ Planeswalker 10/ Engineer 10

Battalion:
Your commlink channel pipes in a radio broadcast from the Special Hazards Response Unit (S.H.R.U.).

Guardians, we've got basic communications back for the time being. We are engaging the Baron's soldiers in every known drop location. They keep coming! We have it under control for the moment but one of our men thinks he found something implanted in the back of their necks...*SQUAWRK*...seems to be...*BZZZzzRAWK*...movement...*SQURAWK*..stop the Baron now! The communication terminates suddenly.

So what's your plan of attack guys? Let me know how each of you (singly or as a group) want to attack or board the Zeppelin.

For succeeding on either a perception or tech check you can see the resulting spoiler and all of them below it.

Battalion, you wince as Silver destroys anything of use on the Mecha by rolling it into a very large ball. On second look though, there really wasn't anything of technological significance...you could build better in your sleep.

Waiting for Silver to make a hole so him and Tempest can fly in and strike.

Battalion, any electronic systems the zeppelin may have are closed circuit. In order to interface with the zeppelin you'd have to find a hard port inside the ship itself.

Battalion stays up out of the range of the cannons and waits for Silver to punch a hole.
if there is a need for a technology check ill roll one now for like interfacing with the zeppelin or disabling a force field or anything like that. I will also make an attack roll in case we go into combat.

Section Hit: 1d100 ⇒ 67 30% or less the Mecha hits the armored underside carriage.

DM Only:
Zeppelin Toughness: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 Versus DC 27

The chunk of Mecha parts lands solidly against the hull of the zeppelin balloon with a hollow crash rebounding into the streets below...

Since it can move, treating zeppelin as a construct. The balloon part is weaker than the armored underbelly but the Baron has expected some superhero interference and added reinforcement. Plus a natural 20 doesn't hurt :S There is a super-science propulsion on board but you heros have to be clever enough to find it... I am awarding a Hero Point to each of you for this complication.

The textile outer skin peels away with the hit to reveal...a metal underbody! How the heck does this thing remain afloat?? It must weigh a great many tons...

The rear bay door of the armored undercarriage folds down to reveal two Robot Zombie Nazis aiming Rocket Launchers.

They adjust their aim towards Silver.

RL 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 Damage DC 25 (No Dodge needed on miss as you are flying)
RL 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

The zeppelin lurches unexpectedly sending the aim of the two Robot Zombies off. The rockets fly past you Silver, impacting nearby rooftops.

The two rear cannons of the zeppelin (2/6) swivel rearward and fire at Maximum Silver.

Turret 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Damage DC 25 (again, no Dodge needed if they miss since you are flying)

Turret 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 Damage DC 25

I am assuming you are shooting the Propeller as it is the zeppelin's means of propulsion?

Your aim is somewhat off but still enough to hit the massive propeller blades.

Your Ice Missile impacts, warping one of the blades badly. As you watch, the abnormal stresses placed on the propeller cause something inside the zeppelin's motor housing to overheat and explode. The blades are noticably slower and the whine of the engine can no longer be heard.

Seems to be a fairly regular distribution for Fate/Fudge dice, with the +/-4 at 1% seeming a fine percentage given that +4 is an impossible task, and should not normally be possible without using some buff.

Paizo forums could be used for Fate systems by rolling 4d3 - 8

...a d5 - d5 distribution would be slightly higher on the ends than Fudge dice, and slightly lower on the zeros while balancing out near the middle numbers.

Players would simply have to add their 4 results together by hand after rolling them...
