Just discovered this feat which every alchemist should not be without.

The part about having to be a worshiper of Urgathoa. is annoying, but most GMs will wave prerequisites like that.

Naki, being a rather monstrous person, might actually be a worshiper of Urgathoa and just not talk about it…

Doesn't affect a alchemists regular admixtures or mutagen heh but certainly something to consider... though I can't see Naki as a worshipper of much, way too self centered hehe


That's pretty strange; I thought drinking a potion and the like was a standard action.

So it is. I kind of stopped reading after I got to the phrase "may move normally" and forgot that. I'll say they ended their move just on the edge (since 1 and 4 were farthest from the center anyway) and will have to make one more save.

I agree, but it's a gamble I'm willing to take. I'm planning to try and open at least one of the cages before Peacock is spotted, so maybe some of the stronger slaves can give us a hand in combat.

I don't think I could call myself a paladin if I didn't try to free them. There are probably better ways of handling the situation, but I had to give them the chance to do the right thing first.

Peacock I would expect there to be locks or something up top but I say go for it. If its one of those cage types that only super tall people can undo then that works.


I won't be able to update the map until this evening, so we'll just have to wing it if we keep this fight going throughout the day.

Everyone goes to Level 3.

Jazzai, you'll have about an hour to feast on the hellhound to absorb an ability before its potency fades (if you are so inclined).

The basics for leveling:

Hit points are 1/2 hit die plus one, plus Con bonus.
If you can post what you have gained (especially monstrous abilities) on this board as well as make the changes on your character page, I would appreciate that. Make sure the changes also get put in the information below your name, since I think that was a problem earlier.

Don't forget you also get a feat this level.

Question: I am pondering having Adrien take Craft Wondrous Items. It seems like the kind of feat that would be very handy in our situation, and I'm picturing Adrien, as he learns to control his fey magic, attempting to join his interest in craftsmanship with his magical gift. Are you okay with item creation feats?


No, I don't have any problem with item creation feats. It does make sense for this type of game to need a character to have something like that.

I picked up a rank in linguistics. Figured her developing a way to read and craft scroll to do scrolls she can use. Since we had talked about it earlier.

That way we can share the item creation. While getting the feat to get more evolution points is tempting it doest really fit. Though I would be able to grab some abilities earlier.

As for feeding I don't think she will with everyone around though fire immunity would be nice.


It's entirely possible for you to drag the hellhound somewhere hidden to feed in private. It's got a few pretty good abilities you might be interested in: Resistance (fire); Improved Bite; Improved Natural Armor; or Energy Attack (fire).

Adrien, Craft wondrous item is a great one but if you want to wait until 5th I can understand. Story wise I want her to develop the writing before learning to make scrolls. Also would help to get a couple more ranks in spellcraft since it won't be the best. I would probably be better on assisting to make an item at first.

Item creation wise you can pick:

Scribe Scroll -- Will eventually be covered by Jazzai
Brew Potion -- This one is covered by Naki

Non-item creation wise.... let me look.

Spell Focus: Conjuration (Grease)
Spell Focus: Enchantment (Sleep, Deep Slumber ect)

Since these are spells you have and Enchantment fits the Fey.

Hover: Since you are a flyer.
Fly-by-Attack: Same reason and this lets you do your laughter touch and get away.

ALSO! Maybe you can now identify the scrolls we have been carrying around in the scroll case.

Remember I am keeping track of loot under Jazzai's Gear the second tab labeled loot.

Does anyone have a problem with her giving some of our undivided loot to the NPC's so the next town they get to they can buy more supplies?

And if our rations aren't hurt to much we can give them the ones we have from the bodies so they have some food.


There are also rations and water on the wagons left behind. The ex-slaves will have enough supplies to make their journey.

Feat: Inspiration just struck, though I'd like your approval on it:

I was thinking of picking Additional Traits, to show the influence of the more mischievous Peacock on his human alterego, and his getting in touch with nature. The traits he would gain from it would be Two-World Magic (granting him Create Water from the Druid spell list), and Nonchalant Thuggery, which grants +4 to bluff checks to stop people from noticing one's aggressive actions, representing the innate talent of fey to appear innocent. I'd like to build a little on the chaotic influence fey have on Adrien, and I think this might be a good fit.

I'd like to clear something with my fellow players before I start it in RP:

A big part of Adrien's transformation is mental, rather than physical. Physically, he's not likely to change any more than he already have. The crux of his transformation is more likely to be mental, especially in the development of a biiiiig mischievous streak and the occasional bizarre twist of ethics and moral. This is likely to get the party in trouble with local authorities now and then.

Is this okay with you, out of character?
