"So, I'm not good at this whole talking as a leader thing," Toni says. "I'm just trying to figure out when you'd want to start...um, handling Summoner business. If you need some time, that's alright."
"I'd like a day to finish getting settled and to spend with Svanna without the pressure of having to start tackling our problems," Gyrthr answers. "Moving here is a big change. It's a positive one but still a big change."
Toni sips her lemonade. "Seems fair. We can start tomorrow. Is there anything you need while we're here?"
Gyrthr looks to Svanna then back to Toni. "No, I think we're okay for right now."
"If you need anything, let me know."
She nods, "That seems like a good idea to me too. I guess I just get a little antsy sometimes." She replies as well, unsure as to what to say to the other couple.
"How are you finding the town?" Gyrthr asks Jin.
She thinks for a moment, "It's much different than where I came from....but in a nice way. So far, everyone seems really nice and helpful. There's a decent variety of goods and services and a lot of really yummy eating places." She blushes a bit, "I really like to eat. I used to eat mostly fish and rice....sometimes a little pheasant or chicken....but there's so many things to choose from here and so many different kinds of tasty foods....I think we've tried most of the eating places already. There's not a bad cook in this town." She says with a delighted smile before adding, "All the shop owners seem very knowledgeable in their specific areas and have the most lovely wares. I haven't seen anything or met anyone I haven't liked so far." She says, giving the town her most honest assessment, "The only issue I can really see is that the towns population is growing faster than can be kept up with, and that there are many children who just seem to wander around idly. They should be in school or doing something productive. There is one school and it's lovely, but it seems to be primarily for magic users...I'm sure things will all get worked out and settled eventually though. It's a lot of work setting up and maintaining a town of this size. They'll need more resources I think to really turn this place into a thriving town. Right now it's just a place with really nice people and lots of buildings. Sorry if that was a bit long, I tend to ramble on a bit when I'm thinking through things out loud."

Gyrthr laughs. "We should make you the scout of the group with such a detailed report. It sounds like you enjoy this town and you can see ways to improve it. I am impressed with your wisdom."

She gives them a shy smile while blushing slightly, "Thank you Gyrthr, I just like observing things. I watch and I listen. Must be why I usually negotiate things. That and I can speak and understand ten different languages, and I seem to pick up on them fairly easy if I'm around it for any length of time." She states matter of factly, as if it's no big deal.
"Maybe you should be Szef," Toni says with a laugh.
Waving her hands in front of her and shaking her head while laughing nervously she says, "Ohhh no, not me ma'am. No...no no no....you should be Szef. You are who you are meant to be. I'm just barely learning about this house stuff...I may have been raised to be a summoner and I've been with Gyo since I was very young....but I don't understand enough of this house stuff to do what you do, but I'll be happy to help you in any way I can." She replies sincerely.
Gyrthr gives a hearty laugh. "A fine answer."
Svanna smiles as well, a change from her regular expression.
She smiles and laughs, a little more at ease with the people around her. "Thanks, I was just being honest. I...I always try to be honest with those around me." She says, before looking down slightly.

Derika looks at Vishanti, "Is that okay with you love?"
"As long as I'm beside you, definitely. Vishanti replies with a smile.
Hitome just smiles at the sight of Jin coming out of her shell somewhat.
She nods her head, "Yep, we're good with that then."
After everyone finishes their lemonade, Svanna collects the tankards and takes them to the kitchen.
Barclay goes to the door and calls for Luth. "Luth, please show them to the house and, if they require anything else, show them around town."
Barclay writes on a piece of paper which he then hands to the other paladin. "Get them some furniture from Meacham and the other necessities from Halfpocket."
The paladin bows to the group. "It was good meeting you and I'm looking forward to working with you."
"Until tomorrow then, Gyrthr," Toni says, getting up. "Thank you for your hospitality."
Gyrthr stands up as well. "Until tomorrow, Szef. My house is your house."
"Same here," Eldan says, turning to follow Luth.
"Is there a good tailor in town?" Chris asks Luth. "I've been wearing this stuff for quite some time."
Luth nods. "We have a fine tailor here. I'll take you to see her after we get you settled in."
Feeling the need to relieve herself of her burden she stands up as well, "Toni....wait a minute." She says letting out a sigh, "Look...I just...I feel like I need to tell them the truth." She says, looking at Toni and Hitome before turning to look back at the couple again, "We're going to be working together and I...I haven't been completely honest about who I am. I feel like...for us to support each other in combat or even while on a more simple mission....for us to be a true team there needs to be complete trust, so I need to come clean. I'm not really what I appear to be...the truth is..." She says before shifting into her three tailed Kitsune form, "I'm really a Kitsune. I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner...it's just...I don't know...but, I felt I couldn't keep it a secret from those we're going to be working so closely with." She says almost in one breath before bowing before them, "I hope you can forgive my dishonesty."
She gives him a bow in return, "Thank you for your hospitality and generosity. We will see you later." Hearing Chris ask about the tailor she looks to Vishanti, "It might not be a bad idea to get another change of clothes for ourself as well love."

Gyrthr chuckles. "What dishonesty? You did not know me or Svanna from anyone else. It is natural to be guarded. Whether you are a kitsune, an orc or a goblin, you are a Summoner. On that alone, I trust you no matter what you do."
Gashka nods, "Yes, thank you." Turning to Anyka she says, "I think I could use some different things as well. I just....I don't want to keep thinking about him and I think getting some new clothes and sleep wear will help with that."
A visible look of relief crosses her face as she lets out a breath she didn't even know she was holding, "Really? I mean...thank you. It's one thing being in a village surrounded by small minded people...but this is not that place and I just....I wanted a chance to be known for who I am and not looked down on for it. It helps me to know that you trust me, just like I trust you. I'm sorry I was so sick on the boat and didn't get a chance to know the both of you better then. I probably would have told you before we got here if I had....but that doesn't really matter now I suppose. Okay, well...we'll see you tomorrow then." She says giving them another bow before turning back into her human form. She kind of blushes, "I still don't feel easy enough to just walk around a strange place as myself....maybe in time though." She states thoughtfully.
"No rush," Toni says as they walk out the door.
She nods as they leave, "Okay, thanks for the lemonade Svanna, it was really good."
Svanna smiles and waves.
Gashka nods, "Yes, thank you." Turning to Anyka she says, "I think I could use some different things as well. I just....I don't want to keep thinking about him and I think getting some new clothes and sleep wear will help with that."
"Yeah, I know what you mean. I think the change would do us both some good," Anyka responds in agreement.
Hitome smiles with a nod. "Thank you."

"That would be nice, a cange of clothing to match the change of energy." Vishanti says smiling at her love.
Luth leads the way to the house. "If you want, you may set your things inside and we can continue on to the shops."
Chris nods, going inside and setting his pack down in the living room. He stretches, his back cracking. "I hate lugging around that lab so much..."
<"Maybe you ought to invest in a wagon...">
Chris shakes his head. <"That's not a wise investment. Especiall since we'll be walking around in caves.">
Toni leads the way to Konstantyná's house to meet with her and Laenid. "I don't think you've met Konstantyná yet. She's pretty wise about Summoners and all that."
Eldan puts down his things. "I guess we need to get some furniture for this place."
"Yes," Luth says. "Barclay will provide the furniture and necessities."
She thinks for a moment, "Wasn't she one of the ones at the breakfast meeting we had a couple of days ago? When we first got here? She had the dark longish wavy hair with the hoop earrings right?"
Going inside the house she sets down her and Vishanti's bags by Eldan's things, "I think it'll be pretty nice once it gets fixed up a little bit."
She nods, "It's really not a bad space." She replies while taking her and Anyka's packs and sets them next to Chris's belongings.
"A bit cozier than we'd like," Eldan says. "But, eventually, we won't all live together."
She nods, "Right."
"Not like you take up much space, Eldan," Chris says with a laugh.
"So, are we all ready to go see what's around here?" She asks while taking her money pouch and putting it on her person.
