Game Master Me'mori

Displaced into the land of Irrisen, a rare Triaxian and their companion will have to find their way in a place where personalities may be just as cold and harsh as the land. What may become of them might just be the stuff of legends— if they survive that long.

Hello all.

I again desire to run a game. It was pointed out on another thread that those of us that have been in a few games should run some to return the favor. The ratio is not important, though 2:1 or 3:1 was suggested, and I decided to adopt the idea.

Now, that said, what I am looking for is that those that are interested work together with another person that is interested to come up with a good backstory for the two of you. I will only be taking pair submissions, and for the initial accepting I will only be accepting one pair.

For the pair submissions, the setting is pretty malleable. I'm adaptable, and have the time to make at least a post a day, and manage maybe one or two more, depending on the urgency.

There is some game information below, but please, post your interest, and find a partner. If you intend to converse at length, please PM each other. Players of all shades of experience are welcome. If you are paired, please mention it so that others do not spend more time looking than you need. I look forward to seeing what comes, so please, show me your fluff!

...My, that declaration sounds a bit silly, doesn't it?

For the curious, the previous iteration of the game was HERE. I've noted how it went, and will adjust to hopefully minimize my mistakes.

Game Info:

• No Gestalt.
• All that is needed at present is a few paragraphs, two to three each will work.
• I'll look to have made a decision by the last week of December.
• The setting will be Golarion, and all Paizo/Dreamscarred material is acceptable.
• Where in Golarion is dependent on the pair, as is the goal.
• However, if you build an undefeatable team, or unbeatable creation, the fun ends, and I will end the game with a hand wave and an epilogue. I want to help write a story and create characters that are memorable, not provide an example for number-crunching.

Wow, I really like your writing. I'll have to give this some thought. I think it's probably very important to pair up with the right person so I need to come up with a plan for discovering the most compatible partner.

Hmm... I shall return.

Interested!

However, I have no partner or a reasonable plan to find one so I will leave it up to chance/fate. Anyone interested in partnering up post here and PM me.

I am pretty open to ideas, type of game, etc.

Here are some quick ideas I have (but like I said I am pretty open):

*Wandering knights, set in Taldor, who get caught up in a hornet’s nest of intrigue.
*Two Lionblades who get sent on a variety of missions from spying to assassinations.
*Same as above but two Sable Company Marines.
*A pair of elves (or gnomes if you’re feeling whimsical) out to save the Kyonin forest from Treerazor
*A pair of vigilantes out to save their city (city to be decided).

About Me:
I have been gaming since the early 80’s, although there was a 20 year period where it was hit or miss finding people to play with (1992-2011). I enjoyed playing pathfinder weekly in a home brew from 2011 and until this summer when I relocated for work. The move helped (forced) me discover the pbp format and I love it!! I feel it is a much better medium to bring PC’s to life.

Some of the games I have enjoyed over the years are D&D (and all its versions), AD&D, Champions, GURPS, Star Frontiers, Call of Cthulhu, Boot Hill, Gang Busters, Shadow Run, Marvel Super Heroes, Rune Quest, Mouse Guard, The One Ring, Traveller, Villains and Vigilantes and a few other I have probably forgotten.

My son and I will come up with something

Interesting Idea, TLV you don't mind if I call you TLV do you? It's much easier to type than 'The Lost Voice' :-)

I'm sorry I digress...

I would like to apply with a character I developed several years ago named Eldlen Meirdrerel. His first iteration was as a pathfinder, but he didn't fit the vibe, so I stopped playing him.

In this game he and a fellow 'longrunner' Initiate will leave to become hero's in their own right, fighting the evils in Fierani.

My fellow 'initiate' will be played by Just a Mort

What beginning level for characters do you have in mind?

I'm only looking for concepts. Creation details will be given to the chosen pair in the discussion thread.

The Exchange

Lirel:

Lirel was born of a human father, Valos, who was a wandering bard that her mother, Elwynn had rescued as he was ambushed by dark fey as he was passing through the forest. He decided to cease his wandering and settle down in the elven community. After a couple of years, Lirel was the result.

Lirel took more after her mother – inheriting her ways with animals and her easy laugh, but not her grace. In that aspect, as well as the wanderlust – she took after her human father. Her father taught her the ways of her Varisian side, and the use of their clans favored weapon – the starknife.

She joined the 'long runners', but wasn't exactly their usual recruit – most of the 'long runners' moved effortlessly through trees, Lirel instead stumbled her way through. Eldlen was one of the few who did not laugh at her, which she appreciated for that. It was Liliana who realized that Lirel was tied to nature – but her bond was more of a spiritual one – and tied to animals instead. During one of the short, safe missions, it was Eldlen who helped her free Fluffy, who was caught in a hunter's trap. Fluffy decided to stay with Lirel instead of going back into the wild. (Maybe having free food was the draw...).

When she heard that there were evil outsiders nearing their area, she wanted to go for it, but her mother didn't want her 'baby girl' to go off fighting evil outsiders. Her father, Valos, who understood that same wanderlust flowed in their veins, was the one who unlocked the door that night, allowing her to sneak off with Eldlen.

Eldlen's introduction:

The 'long runners' are an eclectic group of rangers, magus', arcane archers and eldritch knights. It is their task to protect the Elven communities, both known villages and hidden enclaves in, the Fierani Forest.

Caladrel and Tessara Meirdrerel were both happy members of this troupe when they found out they were expecting their first child and saw no reason to leave their life's work. So Eldlen was born into and raised by the cream of Elven Forest Dwellers.

The chapter of 'long runners' that the Meirdrerel's belonged to were captained by Zordlon Talathen, an eldritch knight who mixed ranger and wizard skills. He had established there charter in the hill country near the village of Omesta in a well concealed fortification. This particular fortification, as the story goes was built near an ancient Beech tree whose Dryad was a wise and beautiful druid named Liliana and she became Captain Zordlon's paramour and a valuable part of the 'long runners' community there at Omesta. Interestingly enough because of her need to stay near her tree she became the babysitter and tutor for the younger members of the 'long runners'.

Eldlen's original instruction was in basic wizardry, he insisted that he also learn more of the ways of nature, to become a ranger, and eventually an eldritch knight, like his idol Zordlon. After much insistent whining Eldlen's parents capitulated and started supervising his instruction in the ways of the forrest. It didn't take long for his instructors to realize that he did not have the "Savvy" to use ranger magic but he did have the hand-eye-coordination to handle traps, so his instruction leaned that way. After several decades his skill as a ranger equaled his skill in magic.

After he reached an age when apprentices started accompanying there instructors, he went out on several missions, very safe ones, with some of the 'long runners'. He heard that they were planning a large long distance raid against evil outsiders that had neared their area. He begged his father to let him go along. His parents would not hear of it . No amount of whining, cajoling, pouting, foot-stomping and breath-holding that's right, breath-holding would change their minds. So, when his parents and the majority of the 'long runners' had gone, he packed up his second-hand gear and left go find his half-elf friend Lirel who lived nearby.

Eldlen knew that Lirel had a wander-lust burning inside. So he talked his friend into running away with him, to form their own troupe. They could protect travelers, hunt down monsters attacking villages or investigate mysterious events; just like the 'Long Runners'. Who knows maybe, someday, They could eventually take the fight to Treerazor in the Tanglebriar themselves. Yep our hero ran away from home in a huff.

Cool, we have a general concept for the beginning. Are you looking for the players to add short term, mid term and long term personal goals, or anything of that nature?

Also interested, but have no partner. Some more vague ideas of my own:

* A ratfolk and kobold emerge from the sewers of Absalom to find the kobold's lost dragon toy. The ratfolk thinks this is a silly endeavor, but wants to keep his friend out of trouble.
* A human cavalier or paladin and and a child-to-teenage strix. The knight struck down her parents thinking them evil, and afterward discovers he's orphaned the young strix. So he brings her along, intending to somehow atone for his mistake. Along the way he slowly learns how not-overwhelmingly-evil and misunderstood the strix race are. He must then also decide how well he's been conducting himself against his code of conduct, or whether his order provides him with the correct goals in life.
* An Oracle and gnome sorcerer. The oracle believes he's seen a vision about the gnome being destined for something great, and the gnome could care less as he borders on rogueish with his fast-and-loose lifestyle. The oracle keeps dragging him into unwanted adventures and attempts at greatness and destiny.
* An evil Aasimar and a good tiefling bound by opposing planar geas quests. As they travel from town to town the aasimar is often taking advantage of locals while the tiefling has a hard time convincing them that "the devil is the good one here!".
* A bloodrager and a skald, fallen from honor within their tribe are directed to undertake a long quest away from home to redeem themselves.

Most of mine appear to be attempting for form "odd couples" with built in tension. I might have more ideas later.

If you want to discuss partnering I'm open to the ideas that you had as well.

And a third person. This might be the time to suggest something I've always thought would be awesome - I'd like to play an awakened golem (or possibly an android for somewhat less disruption!), who would need someone to teach him/her/it what its like to be 'real'. Whether this works with TLV's ideas I don't have a clue.

I'm also a huge fan of 'making things' classes, so a chance to play the Blacksmith from Spheres of Might would be cool.

I've highlighted some ideas above that I like - please do get in touch if either of you would like a partner! :)

I wouldn't mind playing the Strix, if you're still looking for a partner.

An idea I have is a Paladin that is raising a child Antipaladin, trying to change their outlook on life.

This is Zaboom!, partnering with PaleDim.

Character blurb:
Kalishka is a Strix child/teen, in the care of the PaleDim’s character, who killed her parents. Some defect or injury has given her the wing-clipped racial trait. Like most Strix her roost was in Devil’s Pass; her parents had a harsh world-view, were somewhat ostracized by other Strix, and they were strongly into some sort of demon/devil worship (Pazuzu comes to mind). Her family lived on the outskirts of Strix territory, and roosted low to the ground partially due to her difficulty taking flight.

PaleDim’s character was tracking down some manner of criminal/bandit/etc. in Devil’s Pass when he was attacked by her parents and killed them. (He probably had to fight/kill other Strix along the way, too.) He tracked the criminal to Kalishka’s roost, where the criminal had already killed her siblings, and was rooting around for supplies and valuables. She had no idea why PaleDim’s character -- a human -- would come to her aid against another human, and was wary but willing to accompany him. She was devastated upon finding the scene with her parents dead further down the trail, but has no idea that her new caretaker was responsible; wrongly assuming the criminal did it. We might wish to explore her somehow finding out what really happened, later on.

Kalishka is probably CN or true neutral, and will have some sort of spellcasting class, probably divine or witch, stemming from her parents’ faith and teachings. She will not know Common as one of her initial languages, but would likely slowly learn it along the way. There’s strong themes of misunderstanding, mistakes, friendship, and broadening one’s worldview between the two characters. For her specifically, she’ll be a fish out of water; growing up in the world of those she was taught to hate, not understanding human society or customs, and she’ll have to deal with un-learning her more monstrous habits, like the faith she’s still trying to practice.

My wife (who hasn't posted on the forums yet) and I are interested in a game. I'll link her to your post so we can come up with a couple of characters for you :)

The Concordance

PaleDim here with the other half of the duo with Zaboom!

Character blurb:

Sergil is a staunch, straight-line follower of his Paladin/Cavalier (TBD). When orders are given, he follows them with honor and dignity. He accepts the word of his lord/superior, and he expects any affected by his orders to accept their fate as well.

He was raised in a household in Cheliax that was sympathetic to the house Thrune. He didn't think much of it when he was young, but he did notice that his parents supported what seemed like an oppressive agenda, including slave trade, wealth consolidation, and general control of working classes. Then when they were both killed by goblins while traveling he took it as a sign that his family was being punished. He swore from then on to be a knight that would protect the weak. With every order he takes, with every mission he completes he further purifies himself from his family's past, and atones for what they represented.

One mission to track a notorious slave trader goes wrong when his target flees near Strix territory. As he enters their lands it seems as though his target has allies here, and some of the strix begin to attack him. He fights through a wave of them and tracks the slave trader to a strix nest. In short time he is dead, the justice delivered.

However, left behind at the nest is a confused and frightened young strix. While he's just been attacked by so many of them, this one seems a little different to him. She was scared of the slaver who first intruded on her home, and she seems relieved at his demise. Were some of those strix that he fought familiar to this one? Does she have any left to take care of her?

Confused, and unsure what to do, he coaxes the young Strix to come along with him for now. He's not sure how he'll report this part back to his lord, or what he'll do with her, but he needs time to clear his head first...

The Concordance

Oh, and the class detail: Sergil would likely be a Cavalier of the Order of the Shield or else a Paladin of Iomedae.

This is an interesting idea for a game.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I had an idea a while back for a character in a homebrew universe someone had made and it might work well for a game like this.

Issúsavar is a reptilian character from an era when reptiles ruled the world (possibly in the Serpentfolk empire period). At that time, Humans and their ilk were free only in the northern reaches where the climate was too cold for the comfort of the reptilian races. But the humans were ambitious and spread southward, wresting large areas of territory from the Serpentfolk, eventually creating the Azlanti empire.

In order to do this, groups of humans made bargains with dark gods for an advantage over the serpentfolk (possibly ones from the Elder Mythos). They matches the serpentfolk's cold-heartedness with a ruthlessness of their own.

Gradually the Azlanti Empire took shape and the humans entered a period of sunny glory and prosperity. They forgot their bargains with the darkness, bargains that would come due and cause the fall of the Azlanti. But these debts have not yet been paid in full, and the time is coming when the dark gods will once again be able to take payment for humanity's debt.

Issúsavar was a warrior in the Serpentfolk empire who fought against the humans in the early days before Azlant became a reality, in the period when tribes of humans in service to dark gods fought against the Serpentfolk, who saw themselves as enlightened. But he found himself catapulted into the future, to the present day, where he now finds himself with mysterious powers that he did not have before (he would be an oracle of the time mystery). He finds himself embroiled in a quest to prevent the dark gods from taking their 'payment' from the human race.

His Ally (I'll leave it up to the other player to come up with a name) is a Mordant Spire elf, and in possession of an ancient golden tablet, which has writing in serpentfolk explaining that Issúsavar would arrive at a specific time and place and be tasked with defeating the influence of these dark gods. Since the Mordant Spire elves stand watch over the ruins of Azlant they are among the few that are aware of the dark pact made by humans long ago and seek to stop it.

Issúsavar is quite primitive and a STR based melee oracle, and so the Ally would be the "civilized" smart one, possibly an investigator or alchemist or something like that. Issúsavar is basically a lizardfolk though I built him as a nagaji.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Going with this idea would obviously place some major demands on the theme of the game, so I understand if it is not what you would have in mind.

Anyone interested in partnering with this idea?

I love this idea! Consider this an expression of interest, I haven't got a partner but if there are any other takers feel free to PM me and we can work on something together.

A friend and I are going to be making a submission soon. A question however, since you are allowing Dreamscarred Press material. Are you allowing the Rajah playtest (found here) for this game? If not no big deal, I just didn't want to make something using a playtest document before my friend and I got started coming up with an idea.

Dotting so I can find this again. Talking to Harm's Way about going in as a duo. We'll make a pitch or three either tonight or tomorrow once we've worked it out.

Yeah, we've got some pretty fantastic stuff brewing, Grinningjest3r and I will organise our thoughts into a few different angles and out something up soon

Nikolaus de'Shade and I are working on a concept. I'm very thorough, and working with a partner tends to drag things out, so don't expect it too soon.

But the basic idea is a Transitional Triaxian (possibly the first of the season) and his (pet? friend?)dragon, out of place on Golarion.

It's possible to do the concept without using that race if you're unfamiliar with it or would prefer that we stick with a more common race.

I also have an old conversion of (some of) Savage Species to Pathfinder laying around that has some rules for dragon PCs if you wanted me to provide a reasonable mechanical way to run a dragon character; one that can level up like a normal PC. I ran a campaign 1 to 20 with a gold dragon PC and it worked pretty well, to be honest. He had a TON of skills and very strong defenses, due to dragon HD being so powerful, but wasn't particularly strong, offensively. He ended up playing the role of scout and knowledge monkey for the party.

Finally, if the whole concept rubs you the wrong way or anything(possibly due to being a bit unusual), please let me know. I intend to put a lot of time into this and I'd like to submit something that at least has a reasonable chance for my efforts.

Thanks!

The individual that was working on those classes on the forum seems to have been picked up by Dreamscarred, and the packages appear to have been sectioned out for ease of reference. The link for Dragons is HERE, if you do not possess it already.

A Transitional Triaxian can be used.

I have the old one, but I'll probably pick up that one now that it's done. I'm guessing it's better refined now. Back when I needed to use it, he was just building the pdf on his own.

I guess that makes it technically part of the accepted material already. Heh.

Thanks for the response!

Peet and I will be putting something together.

Alright Voice, here's what Harm and I want to pitch to you. We had a few but narrowed it down to two thematically similar but very distinct things. Since the Four Horsemen don't have organized churches/faiths, I had the idea that they use Rule of Two style hierarchy, a Master and an Apprentice for each of the Horsemen. Goals and methods obviously differ for each Master, so any PCs and NPCs would technically work as long as they could IC justify their actions.

So the two ideas that we had are:

1. The Great Old Ones, Elder Things, and Outer Gods (all of the Cthulhu mythos guys) are causing havoc out in the Planes, and so their cultists/monstrous worshippers are doing the same thing on the Material Plane. But this world, in the end, belongs to the Horsemen, and they will brook no intrusion into their domain. So while the Horsemen themselves fight the actual gods, we, their devoted servants will take the war to the Outer Gods' minions across Golarion.

2. Or maybe Golarion is in a time of relative peace, the goodly races are making headway against the demons in the Worldwound, the undead nation of Geb, and all manner of other threats. This cannot be allowed. We have been dispatched as the final test of our abilities as servants of the Four to destabilize the various nations, reignite the flames of war, and pit church and faith against one another once more to prevent any group from gaining too much power over the world.

---

Neither of these are the standard "good guy saves the day" story, but the first option allows all that delightful combat and the second one is much more about politics and intrigue.

Grand Lodge

This seems awesome! I would love to play in a game like this. Not exactly sure what duos I would do but I do love some of the above pairings?

Grand Lodge

Wait just thought of a couple

Pair of Dwarves seeking the entrance to a lost Dwarven Hall. The pair is going off the scribbles and crazy stories of their fathers' father, who tells of a rich vine of Mithral in some distant mountains.

A Drow and an Elf who were once each other's prisoners. After a series of attacks, the two had to survive together and are the last survivors of the Drow raiding party and its prisoners. Now the two are allies and tested by blade and magic. The pair now has to forge a new path through the hatred and bigotry of the there parent races.

A half-orc raised amongst Elves, raised in the house of a noble family. The half-breed becomes close with his siblings, who were older, but often made fun of him except one. The pair got romantic and duo came to there respective powers! Eventually, they got discovered and the pair now flees the Elven lands hunted by former Family and friends.

The last I thought was a cool idea. A Follower of Shelyn and a Follower of Zon-Kuthon have to work together on behalf of their gods to find artifacts belonging to their respective gods long deceased father

Eagerly standing by!

This is a great concept. A few partner ideas of mine would be:

*An amoral rouge type who happens upon a naïve, recently activated automaton/golem/android who is exploited initially. As they get into misadventure after misadventure, they eventually become to depend on each other.

*Twin maniacal gnomes who truly believe they are actually kobolds who have been magically altered into gnomes. They build on each others delusions, creating an elaborate belief system in which they are the saviors of the kobold race. Destined to establish kobolds as the dominate race in both culture and power on Golarion.

I also really like GrinningJest3r's idea

This is directed both at the GM and Nikolaus.

I've been extremely busy at work lately but I'm starting an extended staycation next week. I can hammer out a background before then if needed, but I think it's worth waiting so that I can produce a really good story.

This game feels like it deserves more care than your typical AP recruitment.

If you're both OK with it, I'd like to spend the 19th working on this and have the submission fully ready by the 20th or 21st, depending on collaboration time.

Please let me know if you need it sooner and I will make time.

I'm happy to take the time if the mighty GM permits! :)

Delay on the selection process.

I've recently relocated, and there's a problem with the building's internet wiring for my unit. Until it gets resolved, I will be holding off on gong forward with selection. Hopefully this can be resolved within a week, but I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for the update.

Issues resolved. Please finalize your choices, and I will make a decision this weekend.

Nikolaus and I are submitting Saelas, a Transitional Triaxian Rebirth Psychic and Snow, a White Dragon that is more important than she could know.

The Boy:
I can feel their thoughts, and they want nothing to do with me. I bring change. Not soon. Inevitable. I can feel their fear when they think of it. They’d rather hide me away and worry about the future when it comes. I don’t blame them. Change is difficult for them to think of. My father lies to the other clans. They deserve to know that summer is coming, and while it is my place to tell them, I would not survive the journey alone. And my people would rather pretend than face the truth. So I wait. I delve into the ancient histories, long forgotten. No, not forgotten. Tucked away until the proper time. They still hope it is too soon. I worry that it is not. There are prophecies contained within the tomes there. The egg that I care for is important. A dragon born upon winter’s end will be the salvation of my people. I don’t know how, but it is clear. My people are doomed without it.

Saelas was born as the first furless triaxian that anyone still alive had seen. And he was born early. Too soon. There should be decades left of winter. As the child of a clan leader, he should be afforded certain responsibilities and honors, but instead, his father chose to deny the evidence, to both himself and to the rest of the world. Saelas was kept locked away. In his captivity, Saelas explored the keep where his clan lived. He learned every nook and cranny. He found the ancient archives. And the egg. It looked abandoned, dead. But Saelas could feel the mind within. That was the first time Saelas had manifested his psychic abilities. The egg was abandoned, yes, but not dead… just dormant. It needed care. In the archives, Saelas learned that the egg belonged to a white dragon and that it was probably too warm here to gestate the way it should. Some areas under the keep were colder than others and through tremendous effort and too much time, Saelas was able to carry the egg to a colder place, a few tedious feet at time. He was small and weak, but he didn’t dare ask for help. Eventually, Saelas felt the mind begin to stir. It couldn’t communicate with him. It was too primitive for that at this stage, but he could tell if it was upset, or if it was content. Through trial and error, over time, Saelas learned what the egg needed and took care of it. He also did a ton of research. In a way, he was lucky that his clan wanted to forget about him.

But then, as the egg neared its hatching, everything went wrong. The clan had visitors, rare but not unheard of, the snow elves were amicable enough trading partners. But this elf wasn’t here to trade. Whether word had been spreading about his clan hiding a big secret in the keep because of his presence or because of some elven magic, the elf didn’t make it obvious right away. He peddled difficult to find elven magics and other rarities with the townsfolk and he was so generous, they gladly let him stay as long as he liked. It didn’t take him long to find Saelas and the egg. Saelas could feel his mind. This was no snow elf. He was from… somewhere else. The elf, for his part, had found two secrets in the same night. Not particularly caring about a furless triaxian, the elf cast him aside easily and picked up the egg. Dragon eggs were exceedingly valuable where he was from. When Saelas came to, the egg was gone. Worse, his clan didn’t even know about the egg, and they were fond of that particular elf. There was no way they would believe him about the importance of it. He had to get it back himself… somehow. In the dead of night, the young triaxian geared up the best he could and headed out to follow the trail of the thief in the snow. Teeth clattering with cold and exhausted beyond belief, Saelas finally came upon the still active portal. The tracks lead right up to it. That dragon was too important to let go. Saelas walked into the portal to uncertainty.

This is Snow, hope you like! :)

The Dragon:
The soft powder-from-the-sky tickled her snout and made her sneeze, a quiet whoosing sound which was swiftly lost in the whiteness around her. The dragonling wriggled out of her shell, licking and tearing the remnants of the protective membrane from her wings as the wintery breeze picked up the delicate membranes and filled the dragonling’s lungs with the fresh, freezing air of winter.

Saelas watched from behind a tree some feet away as the tiny dragon scrabbled around in the snow – watching for the thief, who had claimed the Dragon’s egg from Highspire. Despite his attempts at watchfulness his eyes kept being drawn back to the dragon, who had just encountered its first living soul – an Artic Hare. The two white animals faced each other for a moment, the dragon extending its neck to cautiously sniff at its new friend. The gesture frightened the hare who leapt back and away into the snow as the Dragon recoiled onto its hind legs – wings spread and sparkling in the weak winter sunshine, a miniature portrait of bewilderment. In that moment, with the sunlight glinting from her scales and surrounded by flurries of falling snowflakes Saelas felt something – a moment of connection – as though his mind had just brushed against another, one immeasurably alien to his own and yet open and inviting. The dragon had turned to face him now and, knowing somehow that she could sense exactly where he was, he stepped out from behind his tree and spoke.

”Hello, Little One. My name is Saelas. I’ve looked after your egg for a long time.” The dragon cocked its head at him and he found himself feeling suddenly foolish. ”You’re safe now – the bad elf who took your egg is gone. What’s your name?” Still the dragon looked at him, before taking two long strides and leaping full into his chest. The impact threw him back into a snowdrift, sending flurries up all around them and he ended on his back – looking up at the dragon who stood on his chest, who seemed very pleased with herself. In that moment he knew exactly what she should be called. ”Your name is Snow.” He murmured as he reached out almost unintentionally to the mind he brushed earlier and was almost unsurprised to hear the response echo within his mind.

My name is Snow.

This song captures how I imagine Snow will be.

I could be wrong. Only one way to know for sure. :P

Edit: Saelas' song is in my last post up there.

Good luck everyone. This is an interesting concept and will turn out awesome with any of those pairs.

Good luck!

Indeed - TLV has an interesting choice to make!

After some consideration, and trying to decide whether or not I could run multiple games, I do have to make a decision.

Nikolaus de'Shade (Snow)/ Lazyclownfish (Saelas).

This was the submission that gave me the sense of a wealth of potential upon reading it, and I'd like to explore this to see what may come of it. While I might be able to run another pair, I don't want to attempt to satisfy everyone, and end up not satisfying anyone.

If there are any other DMs perusing this Recruitment, I encourage poaching, as I did enjoy the submissions, but until my current engagements dwindle, I could not do all of them justice.

As before, if there are any inquiries that you wish to make, please send a PM. I would be happy to answer.

The Discussion thread is open.

Congrats guys, and thank you for the consideration, TLV! Have fun!
