GM Ascension |
Sig tries a counterattack, but is a little to slow in his reaction.
Lucius charges the satyr, but his attack is deflected by a field of force surrounding the goat man.
The satyr returns with attacks of its own, but is likewise unable to connect.
Attack Dagger: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Attack Horns: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Silas is up. Round 4, Sig is up
WT-516: Codename Sig |
Likely the first instance of frustration began to hit Sigfried, the construct never knowing such emotion before. His glowing eye almost seemed to spark and smoke as anger built from the constantly dodging creature, the wyrwood not knowing how to truly calm such emotions yet. Stepping back from his adversary, he called upon a blessing from Brigh, hoping for divine focus in aiding in this combat.
Casting Bless this round after a step away from all enemies.
Silas Kaine |
Silas stabs at the satyr.
katana #1: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 23

WT-516: Codename Sig |
With the spell now cast and his enemy in sight, Sig would again go on the attack. Taking another swing at his enemy, he let his goddess guide his hand this time.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 191d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
GM Ascension |
Sig just barely misses his target. The satyr mockingly says, "You stand no chance against me wyrwood."
It makes an attack against Sig with its dagger, but fails to hit the wyrwood.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
It then dashes across the brook, closing in on Lucius to try and flank him. Sig may take an AoO
The wolves snap at Sigs legs, trying to topple him.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
The third wolf gives chase to Sindri, who flees farther to the west.
AoO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

damn...so close
Sindri Quarrysson |
Sindri rambles in a fit of hysteria,"Help help, the bad things are coming to get me."
In a split moment of clarity. he asks the atomies for their aid."Get this wolf off of me and help me get back to the others or not get lost in the woods."
Lucius Coriarum |
Lucius will attack the flanked foe.
power attack, flanking, bless

confirm: 1d20 + 5 - 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 5 - 1 + 1 + 2 = 12 damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 grr
GM Ascension |
The two atomies drop down lower, placing themselves between Sindri and the wolf chasing him.
Lucius cuts into the satyr while its back is turned trying to fend off Silas. With a growl it steps away from Silas, bringing its pipes to its lips it plays a few lilting notes. This provokes an AoO from Lucius. Assuming the SLA is not interrupted, Lucius needs to make a DC 15 will save or fall asleep.
Silas is up, then round 5 and Sig is up. A 5' step would put Silas in range of the Satyr again. Moving 15' though would allow him to flank again with Lucius without provoking during his movement.
Silas Kaine |
Silas uses his distance from the Satyr to prevent an AoO during spellcombat He casts shocking grasp via spell combat, steps up, and swings twice.
Silas yells out "Woohoo!" and steps up to full attack via spellstrike.
katana: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 17

WT-516: Codename Sig |
i'll move in on the satyr, I don't think I have enough movement to flank but if I do just add +2 to my hit lol
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
man...I'm rolling terrible
GM Ascension |
The rough terrain of the brook slows Sig to much to be able to make an attack - not that it mattered with that roll.
The wolves snap at Sig as he gives chase after the satyr.
AoO from wolf on Sig: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
AoO from wolf on Sig: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
They then chase Sig across the brook, but are likewise slowed to much to be able to attack him further.
The satyr ducks to the side, attacking Lucius as it does so, but like the wolves it is unable to strike accurately.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
The third wolf growls at the two atomie now blocking its path, snapping unsuccessfully at one of them.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Lucius is up
GM Ascension |
Lucius steps into flank, but stumbles on a root in the ground, causing his attack to go wide.
The satyr takes a step to the southwest, flanking Sig with the wolf and attacking him. The flank is insufficient for it to score a hit though.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 2 = 16
Attack: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 1 + 2 = 12
Silas is up, then round 6 and Sig is up.
Just a note Sig, you don't need to actually wait for Silas to post if you don't want to.
Silas Kaine |
Frustrated by the satyr's defenses, Silas expends some of his mythic power to improve his accuracy.
katana: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 3 = 23

katana damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11
shocking grasp: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
WT-516: Codename Sig |
I know, i just can't usually reply as quickly since I don't have a laptop at the moment.
With the wolf safely defending the satyr from the chance to flank, Sigfried would instead keep his focus on his true enemy, trying to actually hit the creature and finally bring it down.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
getting closer I guess lol
GM Ascension |
I made a mistake. I missed Silas shocking grasp damage.
The satyr collapses under Silas assult, leaving only one remaining.
Silas gain a mythic tier, but only add HP and ABP for now.
Silas make a DC 18 will save or succumb to a suggestion spell to leave the area peacefully.
The remaining satyr gives a bleat, "Brother..." it steps to flank Sig, then unleashes its attacks against him, but fails to connect.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 = 9
Attack: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 2 = 19
The movement speed of its limbs seem to accelerate, blurring slightly beyond what should be physically possible.
The wolves continue their assault on Sig.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 2 = 24
Confirm: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Trip: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 2 = 24
The second gets a hold on one leg, and drags the wyrwood to the ground. Sig is now prone
Lucius and Silas are up (if Silas makes the save), then round 7 and Sig is up.
Silas Kaine |
will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Surge point: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Total will save = 19
Silas starts to succumb to the suggestion, but fights it off through the use of his newfound power.
WT-516: Codename Sig |
As Sigfried hit the ground, he could hear the crunch of his body in the jaws of the beast that had been summoned. Still feeling confident in his ability to fight though, he would rise to stand, prepared for any attacks that would happen for it. He was prepared to use his new found speed to counter attack and bring the satyr down with his own eagerness.
When the Satyr attacks me while I stand, I'm gonna spend another mythic point to Sudden Block. Raise my AC and counter attack him. I re-read Sudden Block too, I thought it gave me + my tier to AC and hit, but it's only to AC and the enemy I'm blocking has to roll twice and take the lower result
Sudden Block: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 281d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Normal Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Confirm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 242d8 + 8 ⇒ (2, 4) + 8 = 14
GM Ascension |
Lucius swings at the satyr, succeeding in distracting it from Sig as he stands.
Both the wolves and the satyr attempt to strike Sig, but all miss. He counters on the satyr with his own attack, striking it savagely. Crit confirmed
Wolf: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 4 = 17
Wolf: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 2 + 4 = 18

Satyr Roll 2: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 4 = 25
Silas still has his actions, then the satyr and wolves.
Silas Kaine |
Using his still enhanced speed, Silas moves around the combatants to square #BJ38.
He chops at the wolf in square BI38
katana: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 9
and misses badly
GM Ascension |
The wolves continue trying to bring down Sig, leaving another mark on his leg.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
The satyr takes a 5' step, placing itself to the north of Sig, then attacks him.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 2 = 12
Attack: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 2 = 10
The wolves vanish with a slight puff of magic, leaving the satyr to fight on its own.
To the north the dryad shakes Hideaki awake. "Rise and return to your friends. They still deal with those wicked beasts."
Two turns for Hideaki to return.
8 turns for Sindri to return from his long run.
Party is up
Silas Kaine |
Silas moves to BH39 (where the Satyr was previously) and swings at him.
katana: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 = 5
but probably misses.
WT-516: Codename Sig |
Swinging again at the saytr, he thanks the gods themselves for his tougher than average body. Still, channeling the might of Brigh, he tries desperately to finish their enemy here and now, only to once again miss his target.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
WT-516: Codename Sig |
With his other party members still present, Sigfried continues his assault.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 201d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Silas Kaine |
Silas slashes out with his katana once again.
katana: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 28
confirm: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 28
damage: 2d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 + 2 = 11
GM Ascension |
Silas leaves a gash in the satyr's arm. It pushes past Sig and Silas.
This will provoke from everyone.
Then it turns, a small ball of paper in its hands, which it tosses at Silas.
Attack vs touch: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 6 - 2 = 15
As the ball of paper strikes Silas shoulder there is an angry buzzing sound, and a cloud of wasps suddenly surrounds him and Lucius.
Each takes Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9
Silas and Lucius must also each make a DC 13 fort save or be distracted. And a second DC 13 fort save or be poisoned and lose 1 point of dex.
Party is up, including Hideaki who has returned.
Silas Kaine |
AOO: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 28
Confirm: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 15

fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 (not distracted)
fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 (apparently poisoned)
On his turn, Silas moves to close with the satyr
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 19
and misses.
WT-516: Codename Sig |
AoO: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 251d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
GM Ascension |
Hideaki botted
With a surge of speed, Hideaki charges in, flanking with Lucius, then follows up with a flurry of attacks.
Fleet charge Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 = 14
Fleet charge Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
Fleet charge Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 2 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (4) = 6
His attacks are largely ineffective though.
The swarm of wasps follows Silas movements, continuing to sting him repeatedly.
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Silas 3 more DC 13 fort saves. First vs distraction, 2nd vs new application of poison, 3rd vs ongoing poison effects (only needed if you make the 2nd save).
The satyr plays a tune on its flute, a light hearted tune that seems out of place amidst the combat.
Combat Trickery to Bull rush all adjacent: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
The strangeness of the music somehow causes everyone to take a step back away from the satyr. With a burst of speed it then circles around Hideaki, attempting to gore him with its horns as it comes in from behind.
Fleet charge: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 2 = 12
Party is up
