Hardish acknowledges Kodavi's question "So did I, they came to me." He then turns his attention back to Daniel "A succubus you say? Well that certainly would explain a few things." Hardish pauses a brief moment before continuing. "But these are strange times. You are in no position to deny a safe place to sleep the night. You would surely die if you left now. And you nearly got the rest of the group killed by your prideful refusal." Hardish turns back to Kodavi and asks simply "Enthrallment mandatory, or are volunteers accepted?"


Since you are responding to each other I will just let it continue. Go ahead and speak out of rounds and everyone is yelling to be heard over the wailing coming from the bar, at least until everyone gets down into the bunker.

Everyone go ahead and respond to each other as the five of you still on the ladder climb down. If Daniel wants to secure the door next to the wailing men more he might want to spend some more time there.

Kodavi responds to Hardish and seems to get more on edge as more people enter the bunker, "All the men are volunteers up above, they enjoy the bliss of the benefactor, her pleasures, to not want for anything. This is how we choose to live and it is you who invade upon us and change our lives."

The blue woman and Lucas enter the room not having any impairment to their hearing. She nods her head in agreement to what Kodavi says then adds some more, "It has been a safe life, but once you are in it there is no way out. I saw a possible way out with you. I am done offering my body and skills to this pit of pleasure."

Maldor, Kayla, and Daniel are soon to follow into the bunker able to hear everything even though there is still a massive wailing from the men up in the bar.

The trapdoor is worked at and throttled, soon the sound of men climbing down can be heard.

Kodavi nearly screams, "Quick shut and lock the door and don't forget the beams or metal bar. The men don't have music to lead them and they will kill any man not marked and rape any women."

Brock shuts and bars the door to the bunker (I think that's what Kodavi is talking about and not the trapdoor up above...) "Is there another way out of here? How long will the men remain active before they go back to their drug-hazy state?" he asks. "I will not stay in this place. Live how you want, but I refuse to abandon my free will, nor let you take these girls against their will. You will let us leave, or I will kill you and leave anyways..."

Hardish sits back for a moment, taking in the new information. He positions himself against a wall behind Kodavi. "There is another way out, Maldor. Now, as to staying and going; I think it's important to remember that outside of this place is a hoarde of the living dead the size I have never seen before. We shall all stay until we are healed, then work out a plan from there. I don't know about you, but I am a little scratched up still. Can we agree to that much?"

Lucas also looks over everybody in the room.

"I know a way out of here, but we will need to work together."

This appears to be a bunker of some kind. One large room perhaps 30 feet by 30 feet. Several chairs and tables are around the room besides a large bed, file cabinets, shelves and a comfy looking couch. It has the feel of both the modern world and Golarian. The walls are raw concrete but covered with paintings and a few tapestries. All the furniture is at least 10 feet away from the door.

There is two doors the one you entered in and... Wait where did the other one go?

Kodavi answers Maldor first and seems rather anxious, "There is always ways out. Though you look for a standard physical way out and there is not one that is safe. Behind that wall and that large tapestry is a door of sorts. It leads to a network of caves. The men will keep attacking for another few minutes then go back to a sleeping state." to emphasize her point the door rattles from several of them slamming into it.

She continues, "I don't block your path, so don't hurt me. The guards and the benefactor are the ones you want to be more afraid of, the guards have been augmented. I tell you this so you can know thee urgency to leave."

Daniel if you look around the room Ryada and Maldor seem to be the next most hurt individuals.

"Treacherous caves you imply, you, Lucas what is your way out?" he asks getting to the point quickly, none of his skin is showing, blue and black padded armor and robes adorn his body. A bow with a quiver is slung over his back and a cloth mask covers his mask with some sort of visor covering his eyes.


She clings to Kayla once she gets in to the bunker. She has a makeshift skirt on from a sweat shirt. Obviously quickly put on while they waited outside the bunker door.

Hardish sighs heavily. "Goodbye, bear trap. Good-bye rations. We have already lost much in this place. Best we not lose our lives as well. Kodavi, what will become of you?"

Brock will take a few minutes to talk with and calm Kayla and Ryada, while Jetta comes over and joyfully rubs his face on the man's leg, his tail wagging. He wants to make sure they are doing ok, and tells them what a great job they both did up there, fighting back and never giving up.

He will check the door and braces to see if they are in danger of failing and letting the men through, or if it will hold until they give up. If it seems the door will not hold, he will urge the others to leave quickly into the caves.

"There may be a horde of undead outside, but these men are just as dead and have similar intent. I refuse to let either of them have us. If the door will hold we can rest here for the night. But I do not trust either of them." he says, indicating Kodavi and the bar tender who came down the ladder with them.

Brock nods his thanks, and takes the potion. Kayla also tends to his wounds, and her touch has an almost magical ability to heal his wounds. (well, it actually is magic - she just doesn't fully know it yet!)

Kodavi sits down on the only couch in the room which is opposite the entrance you each came through, she seems too relaxed then casually says, "My benefactor provides, she will understand that you forced my hand to help you escape, not the first or the last time. Though I would suggest you go quickly, her guards will come down here once the slaves settle down. What exit plan do you intend with my vault of items?" She asks the last question looking at Lucas. "Most of them are just relics from our past, nothing magical."

She looks at Maldor after his remark and says a bit snidely, "Nor would I expect you to trust me or even her but that is your choice. I merely offer what I can to get you along, if you intend to raid my bunker you will find more surprises than you bargained for."

there is no threat in my statement, it is merely a statement, and an honest one at that.


Daniel no you have not seen any glowing objects. I was hoping for Lucas to speak up, oh well.

Daniel/Sense Motive DC 12:
You believe she is speaking the truth, though you know that she is likely well versed in speaking on the truth she needs to. Though you believe the blue hued skin lady is sincere and honest.

"Yes a dire promise. I have never ventured far in the caves nor will I join you in there. As I have already said the exit to the caves is behind this tapestry." She moves away from Daniel as he moves towards her leaving room between them at all times. Once she states which painting it is she points to it. She grabs the painting and moves it to the side revealing a metal door with a wheel on it. She turns the wheel and opens it showing a black passage. As Lite moves forward you can see that the passage is rocky and likely caves.

"Now go, unless you want to stay and be my savior from this... paladin." Kodavi says the last word rather sourly.

There are pounding sounds coming from the door. Though they don't seem to be making any progress against the metal door.

The blue hued skin lady looks to Lucas, almost a pleading look, "I know I can't say anything to prove that I really want to get away from this place but I hope you will take me."

"What is this about a secret room? And what is wrong with the caves? The entrance to them was hidden - is that what you seek?" Brock asks Lucas. He snaps a fresh magazine in his pistol and puts the partially empty one in his belt pouch. Brock then gathers Kayla and Ryada and moves towards the cave entrance, Jetta leading the way and sniffing the air tentatively...


"No, she is free to go if she wants to go or if you want to take her with you." She simply states to Hardish. The door to her vault room appears to the group as it was not there before. "You don't have to look for it, it is right there. As I said I have not ventured far into the caves perhaps a few hundred yards. It gets rather dangerous with the river running by the cave."

Hardish acknowledges Kodavi's simple statement with a simple nod. He then turns to the group as Lucas enters the vault. "Any idea how that guy got secret knowledge about some mysterious glowing object?" He hefts his backpack up onto his shoulders. "Whatever it is, I hope this object leads us to a full belly."

A glowing object? I surmise it was the being that helped us get away from upstairs that told him that.. the same one who told me to go to... a certain city. If she said it, I imagine its the best chance we have. well, as Lite frequently says, Tally-ho old chaps.

Daniel lets a small grin play on his face. Stealing a little mirth from his little lantern. Then, draws his scimitar and shield as he moves into the door.

Lite can provide some light, but perhaps some should carry torches for those of you who cannot see in the darkness?


The vault is a much smaller room, than the first room. It is merely 10 feet wide allowing you passage between the different relics on either side of the room each on a display case. The room is about 30 feet long. The vault has some light in it which highlights the different objects in the room.

Lucas:
You see a spherical object with an arrow through it on the right about 20 feet in, it is glowing.

Brock links hands with Kayla and Ryada and joins Lucas. "We're wasting time with these childish antics. Join the circle or not, but stop whining already. Let's go."


Lucas you don't see anything of that sort that is serviceable. There seems to be a broken kukri on one of the pedestals and just the hilt to a sword on another. There are no plaques or anything that identifies the items. Even the bunker did not seem to have anything laying around that would be a weapon or food. Well a bowl of fruit.

Fatima is in the room and in the back of the room playing with a chess board. She comes and sees what so many people are interested in this vault room.

Troas knows better than to question, especially what he has recently seen and links hands with those on his right and left. Ryada smiles and accepts Troas' hand with her free hand. Jetta follows closely to Maldor with bone in mouth. The alchemist and nun both follow Lucas' lead and grab each other's hands and Lucas' hand.

Lite flies over to the object and begins to beam, "By the goodness of the light above, it can't be but it must! The holy light bringer, this might be the artifact that we were looking for!" He hovers over it and it begins to glow for all to see.

Cedric do you... Hardish it is up to you... Anyone else I am missing?

Hardish sees the chain quickly forming around him and sighs deeply as Fatima joins in without so much as a glance towards her protector for approval. "Fine, but if this thing fries all of our brains, I am done with you guys and I am staying here." He puts his hand on Fatima's shoulder and she clasps it. Hardish at the end of the chain reaches out to Kodavi. His eyes glint and he smirks at her. "Want to try something crazy?"

The world, for all those touching each other and the object in turn, turned into bright light and the feeling of being sent through a swirling vortex. Soon being shot out landing on grassy knolls or soft turf.

As you look around you can see you are in a forest and there is no sign of civilization.

He seems to still be upset. As Daniel gets off of him he gets up quickly and stumbles around looking for something. Then he finds a stick made up of red and white sections. He stands up fully and sways the stick in front of him soon finding a tree to rest against.
