For some reason I set up a second game thread for Group 2, but not for Group 1.

Standard: Resurgent Smite on Z4, on hit, Darwyn can spend a healing surge. If I do more than 20 damage, he can add an additional 2 to the healing surge.

That's infuriating. As I've said before, if you want to home roll, I'm quite happy for you to do so. After all, I am doing just that, so it would be slighty hypocritical not to allow players to do the same.

Darion flounders slightly as the bats continue to distract him. Grimly, he keeps his divine challenge on Z3.

Finding himself reinvigorated, he calls out to Lyan; 'We're not yet lost! Fight on my friend victory is to be ours this day!'

Minor action: Inspiring word on Lyan, he can spend a healing surge, gets 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 2) + 5 = 12 extra hp, and may slide 1 square.


I hate to tell you this, but you can't shift unless you've got a power that lets you do so on difficult terrain. You can grant Lyan a slide however.

In the interests of expediency if I'm not around after Norrin, and on the off chance Lyan isn't dazed for a change, basically the same as last time. Descending priority order. I only get one.
- W2 violates the mark and does damage: reaction, W2 takes equal damage itself (psychic and force) from Mind Spike.
- W2 targets an ally (even if it also targets me): interrupt, smack him with Lightning Rush aug1 (moving my speed, effective 2, to it if necessary). Feel free to roll for me if this comes up. 1d20+16+3, 1d10+8+2, on hit -4 to the triggering attack.
- same things for Z1.

Pressing the advantage given by Samson, the half-orc swings at Wight 2 with an two-handed chop.

"We'll settle this the old navy way; The first guy to die, LOSES!"

Standard action: Hit and Run 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37 YEAH!! vs W2 AC for 8 + 7 + 1 + 12 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ 8 + 7 + 1 + 12 + 2 + (5, 4) = 39 radiant damage and leaving the first square adjacent to the target does not provoke an opportunity attack from the target. Norrin moves to I7 and spends an action point.

Norrin's violent assault bloodies the wight horribly, even though some of the wounds close over.

Moving in the bat swarm somewhat mars his aim, but one arrow hits.

Blackfire recharge: 1d6=4. No.

The wight lashes out furiously at Lyan yet again, dragging icy nails down the hobgoblin's body. Sensing that the end may be near it sidles around Samson, provoking attacks from both him and Lyan, but trying to get closer to Norrin.

Lyan's blade swings in a wide arc of destruction, sliding two of the zombies across the treacherous ground and causing the wight to explode in a burst of necrotic blackfire. Only Lyan himself and one of the zombies escape unscathed and the vile energy bloodies a zombie into the bargain.

Battered and bruised though he is, Norrin concentrates on making Z2's unlife really miserable and succeeds. The zombie is not looking good as radiant light from the blades blasts into it.

Yikes, I'm at 27. Going to use that Dwarven Plate to gain HP as if I spent a healing surge, leaving me at 52.
