Sometimes I forget to mention when people don't see anything.
Neither Ptolem or Nil notice anything outside, looking inside they can only peer a few feet into the entrance way as it quickly begins a descent out of sight.
Sorry for the delay, yesterday was a very busy day for me.
Ptolem descends and quickly reaches the ground floor of the Burial hall, he immediately passes by a stairwell leading down that has collapsed.
Further ahead he can see the narrow corridor opens into a large central chamber, at the heart of which lies an enormous fountain still flowing after all these years of abandonment, unfortunately it seems to be spouting blood as opposed to holy water.
DC 20 Perception:
Just further ahead of Ptolem you can make out on the left side of the corridor a hidden wall.
Unless otherwise stated all corridors in this level of the Burial Hall are 12 feet tall and 7 feet wide and of worked stone.

" These are a common motif that seems to be prevalent in this area. It is almost as if someone made it their sole calling to desecrate the very inner workings of the temple area. This is beyond a simple loss of God. "

Nil seems to see the passage almost as well as his companion Somonti who points it out.
" Ah, what good sight Lady Somonti. I barely caught it myself with my keen elven eyes. Likely it holds something of import; A trap, treasure or convenient passageway is yet to be known. Ptolem, if you would do the honors? "
Supremely, or maybe naively, confident in the light spinning around her and the courage of her comrades in front; Somonti continues to follow along, dancing merrily at the back of the group.
I hadn't expected you all to take the first way down you found, a classic mistake on my part.
Ptolem reaches the bottom of the stairs and finds himself in a large dark cavern, very different from the worked stone above him, this area seems to be an entirely natural cave formation.
From here you all can see the cavern you arrive in is about 60 feet wide and the ceiling hides out of sight for most of you all.
In the right side of the cavern you can see the ground dips down into a small ravine.
And two tunnels lead away from the chamber to the east and south.

Nil scans the room, the lack of noise was not a friendly reminder.

" I rather the passages first the ravine likely holds something we can deal with later. At this point it is uncharted area and the hidden nature makes me wary. "

"Nil makes a good point... saving the ravine for later sounds like a good idea to me too."
After about 200 feet, you arrive in another chamber this one very much similar to the one you left but noticeably smaller.
From this chamber lies exits to the east and north.
Unlike the prior chamber however this one is extremely noisy as an apparent sinkhole or some other external force allows a great deal of wind to rip through this chamber causing a almost howling wail to echo about.
The sound is shrill and unpleasant and you find it very difficult to hear one another speak here.

" I am one to agree with that statement, though the lack of communication possible inside makes the situation perilous in other ways. Hopefully it is simply a consequence of old architecture. "
Heading East the group passes down another tunnel, this one filled with the skeletons of many small vermin such as rats and bats.
Ptolem entering into the chamber that the tunnel leads into notices that someone clearly must live here, as a large pile of vermin skeletons lies in the corner of the chamber and a bed made of animal pelts lies in another.
Immediately upon entering is a large pile of rocks to Ptolem's left and a great deal of concentrated stalagmites and stalactites in the center of the chamber divide the room into northern and southern sections that are practically impassable.

As the lightly armored Somonti dances her way into the room, a large hulking humanoid appears from the rubble at the entrance to the chamber and lashes out at her with a gigantic maul.
The strike catches her completely unaware and leaves her unconscious.

Varian would be in before Somonti and either he would have been the person hit or Somonti would have gone through and Nil right after as per the pre-set movement line.
I must have missed that I thought Varian was right before Nil. OK, not much changes here, just Varian is inside the chamber and Nil can see the Ogre who benefits from cover.

There seems to be nothing special about this guy besides his hammer correct. You didnt describe much what he looks like besides being big. Also do I have any penalties to Perception here? I need to know before I try and use an ability.
