Caldir has been in the city for a while now so he should have some sense how the following are connected.

House Thrune, Liebdaga, Council of Thieves, and Hell Knights.

My impression so far is that House Thrune are the bad guys. Involved with the fall of Aroden and taking over the Pathfinder lodge.

So obviously Liebdaga is not going to be fond of House Thrune since they imprisoned him.

Are the Hell Knights aligned with House Thrune? Or is it dependent upon the Order? Are there any signs any of the Hell Knights are in with the Council of Thieves?

The Council of Thieves (and Drovenge family). Seems they are trying to take over Westcrown so at the very least they would want to see House Thrune weakened or destroyed.

Who do the Nine Star Knights see as the greater threat? House Thrune or the Council of Thieves? Or is it more of the devil you know (Thrune) v. the devil you don't (Council).

The Hell Knights are aligned with Thrune, but only because Thrune is in power and rules Cheliax. Really they serve law and power.

It is highly unlikely that they would be involved with the Council, but are more likely to be working against it as the Council would be more inclined towards chaos V law.

The impression you get is that the Drovenge kids are making a power play against their old man and trying to take over the Council and ultimately the city (from Thrune).

The NSK are still focused on protecting the citizens of Westcrown and would in an ideal world like to be free of both...

Some spells and a number of undead creatures have the ability to drain away life and energy; this dreadful attack results in “negative levels.” These cause a character to take a number of penalties.

For each negative level a creature has, it takes a cumulative –1 penalty on all ability checks, attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, Combat Maneuver Defense, saving throws, and skill checks. In addition, the creature reduces its current and total hit points by 5 for each negative level it possesses. The creature is also treated as one level lower for the purpose of level-dependent variables (such as spellcasting) for each negative level possessed. Spellcasters do not lose any prepared spells or slots as a result of negative levels. If a creature's negative levels equal or exceed its total Hit Dice, it dies.

A creature with temporary negative levels receives a new saving throw to remove the negative level each day. The DC of this save is the same as the effect that caused the negative levels.

So yes, but you get your save at the end of the day.

Is the Denoginizer good? Looks like Bevmo may carry some of their stuff.

Was in Sacramento yesterday to see my youngest brother get an award. After the family went out for some burgers and beer. If you travel there for work you should try Track 7's Panic IPA.


I'll have to check Untapped to see if I've had it. I know I've heard good things.

I'll keep Track 7 in mind for my next trip to Sac. That's part of my turf. :D
