Liberty's Edge

Aidan, in the absence of an official rule lets say waking someone with smelling salts is a DC 15 check and requires a healers kit.

Aidan prepares to move. Elinor is on Tkurzhans back. And then the archer appears from the window of the building where he ran to. He looses another barb. This one strikes mighty Abbas. It bites deep. This archer is a man of deadly skill. This is the end. he yells tauntingly.

Abbas takes 8 points of damage.

Combat order: Archer, Narnel, Harlynn, Taedric, Seneca, Bryndyn, running dead, Abbas, Elinor, ghoul things, children, Aidan, Tkurzhan, shamblers and Pluchak. Aidan and Tkurzhan are up. Narnel, Harlynn, Taedric and Bryndyn are up. I have your action Seneca.

What's the shape of the building he's in, Sigil? I believe Taedric has a flask of Alchemist's Fire -- would it be enough to start the building the archer's hiding in on fire?

Taedric, the buildings are dry, wooden and strewn with kindling, erm... debris. Draw your own conclusions. :)

Taedric reaches into Trumps' saddlebags and snarls at the archer, as his wolf creeps toward the building, "I agree. This ends now.", and hurls the flask he's produced into the window the archer used.

Alchemist's Fire: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Ok, so Taedric's move action should retrieve it and then throw as a standard, directing Trumps to move is free -- so he'd close to within 10' of his target to avoid range penalties -- plus windows and floors don't dodge, so that should help out a tad. I wasn't trying to hit him, but Taedric would be trying to catch him in the splash.

Liberty's Edge

Narnels arrow finds its mark and drops the creature that threatened Bryndyn.

Harlynns wounds cease to flow, and for the moment he appears stable. Seneca makes sure that this is so.

Taedric moves down the alley toward the archer. The gnome finds a workable hole and throws alchemical fire into it. The weapon breaks and the archer is caught in the spray. His screams are a string of blasphemes and vulgarities best not repeated here.

Bryndyn turns to repay the help he received by relieving Abbas of his attacker. His ferocious attack does not kill but nearly so. A great spray of decomposition splashes the ground.

The dead man tries again to harm Abbas but is unable to do so.

Combat order: Archer, Narnel, Harlynn, Taedric, Seneca, Bryndyn, running dead, Abbas, Elinor, ghoul things, children, Aidan, Tkurzhan, shamblers and Pluchak. Aidan and Tkurzhan are up. Liberty's Edge

Abbas uses the opening Bryndyn created for him and attacks again. His blow hits but the creature seems to shrug it off.

Meanwhile those ghoul insect abominations continue towards the party. The lead creature encounters the mud that Aidan made not so long ago. At Narnels word, 'Neeki and Jess both try to shoot a shambler. 'Neeki seems more skilled and while hers is the only hit, the creature keeps moving towards them. Jess says, This is so stupid!. Sadie stands open mouthed and empty handed, in sheer terror.

The shamblers continue to come closer, but compared to their fast brethren, these things are very slow.

Aidan tends Pluchak and makes him ready to move, and Tkurzhan waits for the signal to go, Elinor still on his back.

The archer disappears from the window and the cursing continues.

No worries...now that I hit every so often, it's much better!

Liberty's Edge

Narnels arrow hit proves these shamblers have little of the toughness of the runners. It twists awkwardly and then collapses to the ground. 'Neeki cheers and Jess glowers.

Taedric races to the open street and gets ready to use his lance to deadly advantage against any that cross Aidans mud line. He keeps a wary eye to the window where the archer was.

Seneca hefts Harlynn onto his shoulders and Bryndyn brings his wicked weapon down on the last runner. It is a putrid mess and dead before it hits the ground.

Combat order: Archer, Narnel, Harlynn, Taedric, Seneca, Bryndyn, Abbas, Elinor, ghoul things, children, Aidan, Tkurzhan, shamblers and Pluchak. Abbas's turn.

Liberty's Edge

Abbas looks at the dead thing, and then joins Taedric in making a makeshift line against the ghouls that race toward them. We will stop them. he says simply. It is easy to admire that sort of attitude from someone who is as beat up as Abbas.

One ghoul is stuck and then another, but the third is smarter and heads for the alleys.

Both 'Neeki and Jess fire at the approaching dead, but neither have any luck.

Abbas, I am a little lost on your move... With the runners down and no shamblers or ghoul things near you, I assume you mean to hit the archer? I am going to play it that way. Please let me know if I am wrong.

Abbas takes sure steps towards the archer, as the man still lies prone and bleeding. He has caused much heartache tonight and Abbas means to see that he causes no more. The archer is so fixated on the lance wound that he does not see Abbas until the warrior is right beside him. In out goes the first knife, and the same with the second, though that second knife causes a spray of blood that splashes back on Abbas. With hollowed eyes he just groans, [b]I love her.[/ooc] and then he fades to black and joins Elinor, Pluchak and Harlynn in the world between death and life.

Male Wood Elf Kensei Monk 7; AC 16 (18-melee Kensei), HP 5/52, Str +3, Dex +7, Con +2, Int +1, Wis +2 Cha -1, Perc +5, Acro +7, Athl +3/+6, Stealth +6, Ki 1/7, (DC 13)
