I think the sword was removed and Mylyna is trying to staunch the bleeding by wrapping up the hamadryad (and incidentally feeling her up at the same time).

Ah, went and reread the Illusion chapter on magic.

Saving Throws and Illusions (Disbelief) wrote:

Creatures encountering an illusion usually do not receive saving throws to recognize it as illusory until they study it carefully or interact with it in some fashion.

A successful saving throw against an illusion reveals it to be false, but a figment or phantasm remains as a translucent outline.

A failed saving throw indicates that a character fails to notice something is amiss. A character faced with proof that an illusion isn’t real needs no saving throw. If any viewer successfully disbelieves an illusion and communicates this fact to others, each such viewer gains a saving throw with a +4 bonus.

So identifying the magic wall as a magic wall means you don't have to save at all.

Also, it's especially funny that they are doing this right after hardcovering two of their old 3.5 APs into PF, just in time to invalidate them by releasing PF2.

If the Starfinder work is any indication, the new version of the game will basically be "don't bother playing unless you're a full spellcaster."

I'll have to read through that more but I will suspend judgement for now, it is likely very early in the playtest cycle and will likely change quite a bit.

Yeah. In the meantime time it just means 3rd party content for PF version 1 going forward. They did do a great job with the first playtest though
