While I cannot speak for everyone, I say take what time you need. Real life, especially ones personal health (physical and mental) and ones family must always come first in my opinion. Always. When you are ready and able, we (well, I will, at least) will still be here, waiting and ready.

I'm sorry to hear that you've lost someone in your family. My grandfather passed last fall, and it definitely constrained my PbP participation for a time.
Some of the family didn't take it all that well, so it has been a rough week helping them out. I tried to get an update in but my network went whack-o again. I finally got the time to fix it today and it seems to have settled down. I am going to make a post to get things moving again (and doing it now as not to delay any damn more), and then I am going to go host my son's 4th birthday party. Thanks for the patience these months.

Finally I have a smartphone that can check Paizo lol. I should be able to post periodically throughout the day when I am on breaks or down time at work.
Note: I'm going to be away for the Canada Day long weekend and then some. I might be online early tommorrow morning, but after that, I'll be effectively unavailable until Wednesday. Everyone is being reset to Level 2. 3000/7500 Experience. It has been long enough and I can't accurate track experience the way I want too at this point so I need to restart. We are moving towards Chapter 2 as well soon as everything is tied up with Kesten...
How are we to handle Hit Dice after first level? I apologize if you have already gone over this.
edit: I know I'm going for either Combat Expertise, Improved Grapple or Power Attack for my Fighter Bonus Feat. Eventually I will be picking all three up, but does anyone have recommendations for which one I should choose first?

EDIT: Thad: hhmm, tough choice. Do you think a defensive option (Combat Expertise) is more important at this level, or the ability to control/isolate a target (Improved Grapple), or the ability to quickly pummel something into submission (Power Attack)... or are all three tactical options on equal footing right now?
My feat choices were based on prereqs and my planned progression, as I'll be going the dodge/mobility/spring attack/whirlwind attack route, hence Combat Expertise being my first feat... my low HP was also a factor (I need defense)... but you don't seem to have that issue at all.

edit: I missed your comment earlier LoTae; Thinking about it more, survivability & the fact that it was a pre-req for Improved Reposition was really what decided for me. Tad is unlikely to ever go much past Light Armor (For one thing I lose Armor Training, for another I want that sweet Light armor only enhancement that gives me bonuses to my unarmed attack & Maneuvers), so anything else that makes him harder to hit is a good thing. Yes, he's made of hit points, but hit points get chewed up fast if you aren't careful.
Yes, I realize that careful might well be one of the last descriptors ever used in reference to Tad, but it does occasionally apply.
