I believe at this time the character will be a Elf Magus. It is a character that was made for a different Kingmaker game of mine on a different site that ran concurrent to this one but for various reasons it did not make it so I am offering the slot to the player/character from that game. The character should be the "Spymaster" with interest in becoming a "Grand Diplomat". I just started exchanging message with the player yesterday and haven't responded yet.
A skill monkey isn't really necessary for Kingmaker as their isn't a lot of dungeons (aka traps), and I've been gearing it more towards role-play/intrigue. There should be enough perception among the party to notice any of the cruel standard animal traps!
Skills can also be considered to be knowledge's/social, but between the rest of us we should have most of those covered as well. Vanilla Magus?

Well, allow me to be the first to say I'm intrigued and wish to hear more.
Just want to give fair warning that the next couple of weeks are going to be a bit hectic because I have two conventions to attend in the month of February and one of them I am finishing up 120 characters and a storyline for a Legends of the Five Rings LARP that I am running. I am trying to complete the LARP in the next couple weeks so that I won't have to get into crunch time so my posting will likely slow down until I have completed everything (I will attempt to still post every other day when I need to post something, but game moving posts will probably be put off to every other day for the next two weeks). Sorry for not posting yet, things got hectic for me. I keep telling myself I will be able to post and didn't get too so that is why I didn't leave a warning. Going to have a post before the end of the evening so we can keep things going.
Unfortunately, illness seems to be turning my brains into scrambled toast, so don't be surprised if I don't post for a day or so. Will be back when I'm feeling better.
Sorry about the eradicate activity. I definitely realize the error of my waiting until the last two months to complete this LARP I am working on for a convention on Feb 22-24. Post-convention I will return to full activity again as I won't have anything to worry about for another six months (I am not waiting until next year to do this over again! lol) I am about to sleep, but I will post again tomorrow after work.
We should be bringing down game and saving rations.
Updated experience btw... added the last several encounters and exploration... in total it was 900 experience added to each character (I added some extra for completing Akiros' side story).
Not certain how much I will be posting 'til Monday. I have family coming into town until then.
I almost done with my LARP stuff, right in time for the LARP. I will be returning to normal activity on Monday after this convention. It will be glorious to not be working on so much stuff at one time.

Regards Taking 10, are we allowed to in a "stressful" or "contested" situation? Basically anything that could... go south?
PRD says you can Take 10 "when not in immediate danger or distracted". My opinion is that the current situation is not either of these, but it's the DM's call.
Gotta remember that for Diplomacy!
Unless you're about to fall into the sea/off a cliff, or someone is trying to kill you, you should basically always take ten with any skill you have a decent bonus in. Prevents the all horrible "I have a +10 bonus, but I rolled a 1!"
If I feel for some reason the current situation doesn't warrant a 'Take 10' then I will ask for a roll after someone tries to declare it. In this case as the situation hasn't gone south yet then a take "10" is fine.
On another note I want to do a sound off to get confirmed the number of people still here. Anyone that hasn't sounded off by Wednesday then I will seek to recruit replacement for them. Trying to get all my games flowing again now that I got myself on a good schedule again.
