Not purposefully ignoring your posts Bel, just a little confused as to exactly what's going on with Belsarious' whereabouts and actions. Because if Belsarious was in the Library, and wasn't in the Quad, how did he know where we all were going? All that being said, Jorzan will definitely appreciate finding out more info about the Ley Lines.

Kind of assuming

1. went to research (was a post)
2. made startling discovery (was a post)

Went looking for Jorzan
3. returned to the quad
4. asked where to find the group
5. went to the prison to bring Jorzan the news

I was also confused as to Jorzans whereabouts!

I am putting a GPS on all of you! ;)

Ok, thanks that helps.

Are you indicating then that Bel wasn't there for, or didn't hear Lin's questioning him about the scroll, artifact and Gnoll? Or heard and went to the prison first anyway?

If Bel just wanted to drop off a message, perhaps Lin could have flown him there and then all the Skyknights group here in Stormfare can then go to see the Gnoll?

Male Elf Witch 5 / Ranger 1/ Eldritch Knight 5

going to start my posts when we are in various places with

@library
or
@ palisades
or
@ ......

We might all have to do that!

I still intend to do some more research....

Bel by all means post some stuff, we have hit a lul, I need me some Jamacian witchery. ;)

Male Dwarf Fighter 7/Barbarian 2 AC29 HP128 F+14 W+6 R+6 Perception +14

Dang, Troll Syptic, that stuff sounds like it could cure just about anything. You have any beholder eye drops or demigorgon mouthwash to go with it?

if you guys are waiting for me to post, im pretty much just waiting for DRA to get back so we can rock everything out.

Thats fine, i'm waiting on a number of things that only DRA can solve as well lol!

Hey Gray, does DRA use any 3.5 Stuff?

This guy is going to be so healthy

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

@Min, I dont think he uses any personally, he maybe willing to convert things. i think, hes done that in the past.

Well he is allowing me to use the Elven Thinblade as well as a few items from the MIC and the metamagic feat Energy Substitution instead of Elemental Spell. So I can use cold instead of electricity damage to play up the silver dragonblood used in their creation.

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

yea he is pretty flexible with most things like that

Male Dwarf Fighter 7/Barbarian 2 AC29 HP128 F+14 W+6 R+6 Perception +14

He said it is case by case basis, but if you have a cool idea or a good story behind it he will look at it as an exception depending. What were you thinking Min?

Making a cohort for The Legacy group and thought I would need to use a feat for allowing a Pegasi as a Paladin mount. Fixed it though. :) There was another idea I wanted to use but it involved a major template and a LOT of work as well.

Thank for the responses Gray and Hurin :)

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

Btw. Dra will want you to have your cohort 3 levels under your main not 2. And to also mention he will want to determine your leadership score. So yea that's all up to him. However he will play it like an awesome jpc. But he will do things to your cohort you may not like. He kidnapped mine and now I'm sad. Lol

Hehe yup. Also remember you have to use the ability numbers that are used for npcs. That kind of bummed me out. Low stats are hard to work with unless you buy some good state boosting gear

Yep I used the Heroic NPC stats, DRA told me that after I asked I was sure they wouldn't be EPIC npc's lol or they'd be as cool as us! xD

I've got time to work everything out, especially with us being away from Stormfare. So thankfully I have some breathing room, between RLand such. I'm sure I will have everything worked out soonish~

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

So i can take this feat and have an extra 1d6 on my channel heals then?

Greater Mercy
Prerequisites: Cha 13, lay on hands class feature, mercy class feature.

Benefit: When you use your lay on hands ability and the target of that ability does not have any conditions your mercies can remove, it instead heals an additional +1d6 points of damage.

Male Dwarf Fighter 7/Barbarian 2 AC29 HP128 F+14 W+6 R+6 Perception +14

Nasammara that was a cool post. I really liked the description of your character. She is really other worldly. The nickname of the ghost of the tower really fits.

If I'm reading correctly...yes. as long as the creatures in your channel have no conditions it can remove they'd get an extra 1d6 hit points.

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

Lets say there was a creature/person with a non serious condition and they didn't need healing to badly, can I use selective channel to keep them out of the effect and still give everyone else the extra 1d6

You need the lay on hands feature, this was meant for a paladin I believe. Because it specifies a single Target. :(

The merciful healer gives you everything but LoH. I will look through the feats tonight and see if I can come up with a decent one for ya. I'm not that good at building clerics.

I think the hard thing for me is actually finding where all the feats are located. Once I find them it gets easier for me to pick heh

Versatile Channeler

You can choose to channel positive and negative energy.

Prerequisites: Channel energy class feature, necromancer or neutrally aligned cleric (see below).

Benefit: You may make a choice whenever you use your channel energy class feature.

If you normally channel positive energy, you may choose to channel negative energy as if your effective cleric level were 2 levels lower than normal.

If you normally channel negative energy, you may choose to channel positive energy as if your effective cleric level were 2 levels lower than normal.

Having this feat means you qualify for feats and abilities that have "channel positive energy" or "channel negative energy" as a prerequisite (for example, you qualify for the Command Undead feat and the Turn Undead feat).

Note: This feat only applies to necromancers, neutral clerics who worship neutral deities, or neutral clerics who do not worship a deity -- characters who have the channel energy class ability and have to make a choice to channel positive or negative energy at 1st level. Clerics whose alignment or deity makes this choice for them cannot select this feat.

Channel Smite (Combat)

You can channel your divine energy through a melee weapon you wield.

Prerequisite: Channel energy class feature.

Benefit: Before you make a melee attack roll, you can choose to spend one use of your channel energy ability as a swift action. If you channel positive energy and you hit an undead creature, that creature takes an amount of additional damage equal to the damage dealt by your channel positive energy ability. If you channel negative energy and you hit a living creature, that creature takes an amount of additional damage equal to the damage dealt by your channel negative energy ability. Your target can make a Will save, as normal, to halve this additional damage. If your attack misses, the channel energy ability is still expended with no effect.

These two feats together would make grey a decent fighter as well as a hitter. I may have misunderstood the first feat but you have a nuetral alignment so I thought it may apply. Channel smite is still an interesting feat as well. Especially against dead people. :)

Male Silastrix Magus (Bladebound Kensai) 11 (HP 83/83 AC 30, T 23, Flat 11 - F+9 R+9 W+8 Init +12; Senses: Darkvision 60ft Low-Light Vision (X2), Per +13

If I remember correctly Gray's build makes him incapable of damaging undead through channeling. Correct?

Male DraRid 9 - HP 66/66 AC 23, T 14, Flat 19 - F+7 R+10 W+6 Init +4; Senses: Superior Low-Light Vision (X4), Darkvision 60ft; Per +14
Maiathreen Gyssearnith wrote:

True but I wouldn't let it work with an entire channel it would be too powerful. Its like adding a mass curelight to an ability that's already pretty powerful.

In the PFSRD Gray it breaks down the feats into combat, grit, general, channel and so on. I had to hunt down versatile channeling but for the most part its pretty organized. :)

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

well. Why I thought of greater mercy was because I read a guide on the merciful healer and they had that feat listed. Found it somewhere on these boards too.

As a merciful healer I think it says I can't chose to target undeads with my channels so I'm guessing that goes for channel smite.

I use pfsrd20 often. I was just wondering if there is a list of mercy feats somewhere.

Male DraRid 9 - HP 66/66 AC 23, T 14, Flat 19 - F+7 R+10 W+6 Init +4; Senses: Superior Low-Light Vision (X4), Darkvision 60ft; Per +14
Maiathreen Gyssearnith wrote:

True but with channel smite he can smash the hell out of living people instead. :D I didn't see anything about that!

Channel Energy (Su)

As the cleric ability, save that a merciful healer must channel positive energy, and when she does, she cannot choose to target undead. This ability is otherwise identical to the cleric ability of the same name.

By the look of it though, yes, you can't use the feats together to strike an Undead with it. It also stats your spending one use of your channeling to deal additional damage to a dead creature. So yeah in all fairness its still useful for negative channeling against living foes and strategic smiting. :)

Male DraRid 9 - HP 66/66 AC 23, T 14, Flat 19 - F+7 R+10 W+6 Init +4; Senses: Superior Low-Light Vision (X4), Darkvision 60ft; Per +14

Hmmm nevermind apparently they absolutely can't channel negative.... Hmm that is difficult. Sorry Gray! Continuing on there really isn't any channel abilities you can take except additional channel lol... :(

Gray's pseudomercy only does two creatures per channel.

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

Can I take extra channel more then once? Lol

.....I was going to say yes....but unlike all the other extra feats it doesn't say can be taken multiple times. I'm not sure if that was just missed or they only meant for extra channel to be taken once.

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

Maybe I should elaborate. Cyra and myself share a computer, but I choose to use my phone so she can use the computer because for what ever reason I have never had a problem with long posts when using my phone.

DRA was at gencon, I'd assume he'll probably be back tomorrowish.

Contingent Channeling

You can imbue others with your healing energy so that they can use it at the moment of greatest need.

Prerequisites: True healer class feature, Selective Channeling.

Benefit: You can use a standard action to touch an ally and expend one of your daily uses of channel energy to create a repository of positive energy within that ally. This repository contains the same number and type of dice as normal for your channel energy feature, and it lasts for 1 minute. An ally who has such a repository can use an immediate action to roll the repository’s dice and regain a number of hit points equal to the result. If an ally who has such a repository is reduced to negative hit points, the repository triggers, allowing the ally to heal without using an action.

I didn't know if you'd seen this one but I'm still looking at feats atm. I'm using my phone for posting as well. Although I mainly have a big laptop lol!

Male Human Cleric 9 (86/86HPs AC26 [domain spells used 0 and Normall spell used (one 1st&5thlvl). 0/10 channels used.)

I already have it =P I think I built myself in to a corner, when it comes to adding more healing stuff. I may need to maybe pick up a shield feat or something for offense I mean my damage is pretty low.

Male Silastrix Magus (Bladebound Kensai) 11 (HP 83/83 AC 30, T 23, Flat 11 - F+9 R+9 W+8 Init +12; Senses: Darkvision 60ft Low-Light Vision (X2), Per +13

Here's a couple 3.5 feats.

Ritual Blessing (Ceremony):

You call upon the powers of goodness and light to bless your allies. If your religious studies are advanced enough, the rituals you learn allow you to ward against illness or poison, enhance your healing abilities, and protect against evil.

Prerequisite
Knowledge (religion) 4 ranks, Good alignment,

Benefit
You gain access to rituals based on your ranks in Knowledge (religion).

Anoint (Knowledge [religion] 4 ranks):
You speak a blessing over the recipient of this ritual, anoint him with holy water, and say a short prayer for him. When you cast a cure spell on the recipient, he heals an extra 2 points of damage. Performing this ritual requires 5 minutes of incantation and a vial of holy water. Its effects last for 24 hours.

Cleanse (Knowledge [religion] 8 ranks):
You sprinkle holy water over the recipient of this ritual and speak a prayer to his health and vigor. The target gains a +2 bonus on saves against disease and poison. Performing this ritual requires 10 minutes of incantation and a vial of holy water. Its effects last for 24 hours.

Ward (Knowledge [religion] 13 ranks): You use a special combination of powdered silver and holy water to create a mystical ward that offers protection against demons and devils. The recipient of this ritual gains a +1 bonus on saves against spells and special attacks used by evil outsiders. Performing this ritual requires 10 minutes of work, a vial of holy water, and powdered silver worth 30 gp. Its effects last for 24 hours.

Augment Healing:

Your Conjuration [Healing] spells are more effective.
Prerequisite Heal 4 ranks,
Benefit
Add +2 points per spell level to the amount of damage healed by any Conjuration [Healing] spell that you cast. For example, a 1st-level cleric with this feat casting cure light wounds would restore 1d8+3 hp. An 8th-level cleric with the Healing domain and this feat casting cure moderate wounds would restore 2d8+13 hp (9 for his caster level including the +1 caster level bonus for the Healing domain, + 4 for the feat). A 13th-level druid casting heal would restore 144 hp (130 for her caster level + 14 for the feat, since heal is a 7th-level druid spell)

I kind of like Augment Healing since it does more healing. Especially since you guys can just cute someone of poison.

Wow. Y'all are chatty tonight. ^_^
