One thing the cookmate has to mind is if the cook is drunk. If he is doing anything other than work it will be harder. For if you plan to go to the shop you better roll high or Mr.Plugg will have more work for you, or worse.
Anyways, the Bildge has some stuff down there as well as a little story so nothing is really bad... At this point anyway.
Also, three ways to get your stuff back:
1) buy it all again at standard price
2) steal it back(obviously this causes issues)
3) Convince the quartermaster to give it back as a friend.- although this is the cheapest way you still need at least 30gp in expensive alcohol for this.

Well it has been almost 2 weeks since we have heard from the DM. Is this one to put in the book of Inactive PBP Games? Do players want to try and find a new DM or stick this out in hopes that we will get to play this AP with DM waz up?

I'm really interested in seeing where this character goes too.
I was hoping he would get back on track after his move. With PbP Gameday 6 coming up, it may be difficult to find a replacement GM right now. I'm ok with waiting a little while longer.

I think I would recommend trying to accelerate the events of book one a little bit. Once the characters have their own vessel, you can leave us to our own devices more. We will need to discuss things like targets, modifications to the ship, and other minutia. Gives us a way to occupy ourselves and take some pressure off posting from you.

One possibility is that we handwave a lot of the RP, assuming it happens over time, and just tackle several days' worth of rolls at a time? You know, like, if nothing special happens for a week, just say, "Okay, post your weeks' worth of job checks, and say what you did with your free time."
That would speed it up while still not losing the aspect of befriending the crew.

That is a pretty good idea. Bundle the mundane stuff, set some guidelines, but otherwise let us run rampant.
On that note: Murat is moving beyond the "just keep your head down" stage and on to, "discipline is fine, but vendettas against crew puts the whole unit at risk!" stage. Some bullying of Vel Murat does not mind, but purposefully attacking a fellow crewmate, thereby weakening the team as a whole? No, sir. He would be open to listening (though not commenting on) alternatives to ensure a proper officer is in charge. I cannot guess how far he is from the "just kill the deadweight so the crew can move forward" stage...
He isn't really interested in making friends, but if a battle seems imminent, he might go looking for Besmaran faithfuls to offer a little prayer for some solid booty.

Well, seeing that this is not going anywhere...I think I am going to jump ship.

Is everyone here good with me taking over? I'm looking through characters and trying to wrap my mind around the group.If you could give me some insight into how you would want your character's story to play out, that would be great. Any personal or professional goals. If you want to be a free spirit and take what comes, that is fine. But if someone has a clear vision of being a certain kind of pirate or whatever, I would want to make that path available, at least.
Also, I think we are ok as far as party balance. There are a bunch of NPC's who can fill in for missing roles if need be. I'll certainly reach out to Murat and see if he is interested in coming back. I was enjoying the goblin/hobgoblin dynamic.
Also, do you want to just start a new campaign thread? Or have me take over this one. There isn't a whole lot here that we need to keep, I think.
