I haven't been around much. One of my best friends passed away last week and I've only half-heartedly been making appearances here for the games I'm running, sorry guys.
Best of luck to your family Erick, I will keep her in my prayers.
Wife's surgery got moved back a day (scheduling issues in OR). Surgery was completed last night, went smoothly, doctor very pleased with himself. :) Wife awake and says even with the pain from the surgery it's a night and day difference in how she felt before, so good news on that front. I'm afraid I'll be busy again today, but hopefully will be able to get all games caught up and going again by end of week.
Erik follows the headstrong girl, as she'll go wherever she wants anyway, so might as well let her take he lead and set off the minature terrasque trap.

While I appreciate the party's desire (and ability) to talk our way through obstacles, this one can only end in violence, and with an 8 wisdom, Gavin aims to misbehave. Payback is coming...

Well, I think you have accomplished that - at least the confused and off-balance part. It was a good bluff - I just wanted everyone to know that Kersh isn't walking away from this one :)
I'm on vacation with the family at the beach this week, posting is slower (I know) than normal. Sorry for not getting this post in before I left, been chaotic over here!
The next two weeks my presence will be diminished due a crazy schedule as I ramp up towards my annual BocceFest event. I'll be checking in when I can, I'm not going away. I appreciate your patience and understanding!
I want the photos... anyway ... You kinda have the turn but you are not doing anything with it. Do you want me to give you an initiative order even though you have a turn of surprise? or what else to get you into the game?
I think we are waiting on the results of Tessa's attack. At least Erik was. If she flubbed up completely with the roll, then that changes what Erik would do. If she just missed but didn't set off every alarm in creation, then Erik does one thing. If she set off a bunch of alarms and others might come running, he does something different, so need that resolved.
Just to let you all know, I was travelling heavily 10/27 to 10/29, I'll be catching up on 10/30

Sorry, work, then internet failure this week, new modem on order, later this week. Using emergency hot spot to connect enough to do e-mail post apology.
Guys I'm terribly sorry for falling off the face of the earth.
I watched occasionally the game waiting for all of you with a turn to weigh in. then when you did everything conspired against me posting.
At first I tried to get a reply like 4 or 5 times but I got interrupted every time and one of them I made a post but my connection died before I could send it.
then I started to have a lot on my hands in RL to keep me away from this.
I'd like to resume the game if you guys are still up for this but I also need to get the adventure path from an external hd that died (no damage to the HD I think, I just have to remove it from its case that refuses to turn on and install it on the pc)
If you are all down with this between this week and the next I'll resume the game, I promise.
Do you know I remember reading this AP all those years ago, especially the first part and loving it. Absolutely. There are so many vague memories I have of the various parts and i've always wanted to get through this one because of it.
.....but it is a monster to DM. and if SRose has computer issues then its understandable. Just a a shame. I would prefer the doc/dm to come back one last time and call it, if it is terminal. Or get us back on track.
as always I have to come here and apologize for the constant delays and sudden disappearances of mine.
I'm in a weird point in my life that I'd like to explain to you but... I don't want to jinx it so .. all I would tell you is that for once is actually good news for me and in 2 months I will tell you all about it :)
(also I just had my birthday last Monday :P)
meanwhile... I'm all for going ahead hoping that I will maintain a decent pace, although I was thinking ... how would you feel about keeping up the Play by post but integrate it with online sessions on services like roll20?
I feel that for dungeon sessions with heavy exploration and combat would be great to speed things up.
I am NOT abandoning the game if you are not up to it. But I feel the thing that drags our games to the ground (aside from my random misfortunes) is how slowly we resolve exploration and combat. when we are on more roleplay heavy parts of the game everything goes rather smoothly.
Still.. I'll try to be more active except for the obvious Christmas and new years eve.
Then around February I might have some big news to share and I might need a couple of weeks off but then we will continue steadily.
so let me know how you feel about resolving combat and dungeons in a chat session or a virtual tabletop service. and I'll kick the game forward :)

My life is complicated at the moment, finding time to play on roll20 might be difficult. I can give it a shot, but it would depend on timing. I'm flying 3000 miles a week off and on.
Halfling bard2/rog1; Init +3/+5; AC20, tch 14, fft 17; Perform 8/8; CMD 12; hits 23/23; F +1, R +9, W +3; Perception +8
I'd like to give it a try however arranging this before Jan 5th is probably a non starter since my time is not ..... mine. After that could be much better.
