Hey everyone. This is the new discussion thread for the reboot of our game. I'll be reading through all of the connections from the previous thread to do my best to keep everything you guys developed.

I've read through the game thread so far and my take on the AP is a little more traditional than Rysil's. I hope that's ok.

Check in here and let me know when your character sheets are good to go.

Also, as noted in the previous thread, please email me your .por files if you use Hero Lab.

Checking in. It looks as though our Bard and our Oracle (Zelaria and Esmeralda) have not yet responded. IF we're lucky we'll get Zel, but I wouldn't count on Esme, I think she was already inactive.

Rohan and Copper checking in. I'm confident we'll get Z back. I don't have hero lab, but if someone wants to take the time to input it for me, I can send them the info. Is there anything you want to change? Rysil gave us an absurd point buy so if it offends you, let me know.

I'm here, looking forward to it. One more day of vacation, followed by a lot of travel, then back to normal with pbp posting. May need to fix my crunch since I modified it for another application. Sorry, do the have herolab but I could send you my draft in word if that helps when I get home.

I was kind of shocked by the point buy. Do you know what his plans were for that high of a buy? Can we reduce that to at least 25 or, preferably, 20?

I forgot how high a point buy it was, lol. I don't recall a reason, other than he saw heroes as heroes and didn't care about stats since they could easily be dealt with.

I don't mind a reduction (although I do like my DCs, lol). I'd just have to modify parts of the character (e.g. gear & encumbrance) to correspond with whatever we end up with.

Yea, even I feel kind of silly with this high of a point buy. I'm totally okay with a lower point buy. Either way, 25 or 20 is fine with me.

I'm back, I think.

I wouldn't mind going 15 pt buy if it means it'll be easier for the GM. I know scaling encounters to challenge players is a bit of a problem.

Let's kick it down to 20.

Also, the gameplay thread is up, if anyone wants to RP a bit. No dice rolls necessary now.

Will have to update alias later since I will be out rolling real dice on a table tonight (funny though, I am playing Lou in that game tonight).

Just so ya'll know, Telenor (my ISP here) hates paizo forums, and I'm having problems with posting anything with a dice function. it's a huge pain in my rear, but I should be able to get an updated sheet up sometime tonight.

Sadly, I have to reconsider my entire build as it was very MAD.

I'm going to have to sit down and recrunch the whole thing.

Edit: Actually, that was a lot easier than I thought. Attributes are done, now I just gotta reword some build stuff.

Hey guys travel was diverted, 24 hrs delayed, overnight at the airport, back late tomorrow. I am in, just need a day or so to get back home. Welcome back Z, looking forward to the adventure.

Been getting my VTT kingmaker back on track the last few days. In a few minutes I'll be shutting down to play a paladin in the game my husband started several years ago and we're almost all the way through now.

Hope to update and post sometime tomorrow, when I have nothing but housework to do.

@GM Aperture: One question about traits - do we need on from the updated AP?

I think so - we have 5 of the 6 original players dialed in and ready to go.

we may loose Adrien, he applied to another Runelord game (the same one I was thinking going to if this one is a fizzle again).

I'm in, do need to respond to you, just been very busy this weekend. Would love a DM check in though. Inside I smile a bit thinking about how freakish Rysil was and how he turned out. I've started to review DMs more now before applying - if I don't see much of a history or don't like their style I'm a lot more picky now.

Hey, I noticed that Aperture started a S&S campaign as GM about the time ours started. They haven't seen him since Thursday either and are carrying on ... well ... Like a bunch of pirates. They even had a moderator step in to delete a bunch of their content. Anyway, we aren't the only ones. It feels like a slimmer and slimmer chance each day.

Yea, does anyone know a DM that would be willing to pick this game up?

Ok, well next week I will be at Gen Con, so I will be less active for several days. After that I'll see about recruiting a new GM - can I get an idea of who is officially on board for the new, new, revised, redone, campaign? Unless of course someone wants to do it earlier. I thinks we really need to go with someone that has been active for some time and is likely to follow through with the commitment.
