You get new HP, spells etc immediately but you dont refill expended resources. So Sarine gets 2 more rounds of bloodrage so she's on 3 rounds currently - the ones already expended don't refill until she rests, just like normal.

yes... not far from Ojai... lots of smoke here, the fire there isn't contained yet, but it's not close enough for us to evacuate, just can't breathe and the wind keeps knocking out our power.. or did... much lighter winds now, so power is not an issue anymore. Feel terrible for all the folks who've lost their homes or been displaced... Several friends have been evacuated, and some are back home (in Sylmar and Sta Clarita, but the ones in Ojai are still out of their homes sadly... most don't know what they'll come home to yet when the all clear is sounded.

I got that campaign started. Thanks for the help earlier. I'm coming up on the first instance of combat fairly soon, though. What are some of the best ways to get maps going for the players?

I like posting a link to a Google Drawing. Then I just upload the combat map and figs there. I keep that as a combat map link and just update its contents as needed.

I have another link for a larger view map ("overall map" or "dungeon map")...

I find that works really well and lets me easily move the "figs" on the map from work or home, though I usually need to be in the latter spot to upload new images (new figs/different maps/etc.).

Google Drawings works really well. I sometimes also use Roll20, but it's a simpler buy-in to just do Google.

Due to an incredibly busy weekend filled with a Christmas celebration, two birthday parties, and many hospital visits, I will be unable to post from December the 16th through till December the 18th. GM Notes:
Not much guidance I can give you for running Ashlyn and Elizar right now since we're just about to discover something, but I don't know what yet. Haha. Elizar and Ashlyn share a mental link and can communicate mentally as a free action at any time. While underwater they can be up to 100 ft. away from each other, although Elizar prefers to stay close to her. Ashlyn's a good swimmer (+10 swim) and shouldn't have trouble in the water. If for some reason she does, Elizar has a swim speed and will immediately come and help her, bringing her up to the surface if necessary.

Ashlyn will suffer all the standard penalties for attacking underwater if this turns into a fight. Elizar is an aquatic creature, though and won't suffer any penalties for fighting underwater.

Lastly, Ashlyn might get caught staring at Aurelian's nudity (she's never had a boyfriend or been near a naked man before...) and Elizar will continue to hate Aurelian for it.

Fleur still needs to make her influence check,

We know convincing Perrel that the dangers of the island are exaggerated (Diplomacy or Bluff) should get her on our side.

* We know a strength check or an impressive demonstration of non-lethal combat would persuade Faedwyr.

* Right now, Aurelian is trying to influence Faedwyr, but if Evie or Fleur have something nonlethal they want to try (maybe fascinate if they have it? color spray? something along those lines...), Aurelian's check could switch back to Perrel. (Aurelian isn't great at nonlethal combat.)

* We know nothing about Antona...

* And little about Harcourt: The third son of a family of wealthy horse breeders, Carrolby looks like he’s never seen a hard days work in his life. He has black hair and a pale complexion which is clearly not well acquainted with the sun. He spends much of his time on board below-decks or at least under cover of some sort. In conversation he is clearly cultured, making reference to plays, fine dining and other noble pursuits, condescending to those that do not understand or cannot keep up with his conversation. (So I'd assume something that makes him feel this won't be so hard might work?)

GM Grimm did say it is possible to aid another on the influence check (max 2 aids per check). I'm assuming that's in ADDITION to the discover/influence checks that were allowed each of us, but am not sure. GM? Maybe folks should make those checks now and if they're not allowed, the GM can just ignore them.
