As healing from Grasker and Eli courses through him, this divine refreshment steals his attention for a moment until Cole's warnings and Grasker's charge pull him from his reverie.

Hearing shouts of Wizard! and Demon Foe!, Beagan rushes forward only to find Cole purposefully blocking the door. Seeing no immediate threat past the Archer, the Gnome dashes around the corner with his sword drawn, looking for any other possible exits to block.

"Did they go out the back? I'll check! If they be an enemy of Annevia, they will not escape!"

He's looking for windows or doors that would allow him to enter and/or allow an enemy to escape.

Inside, the caster continues to cast. The words come from somewhere towards the back of the room beyond the table, but just where is impossible to determine.

Serra moves until he bumps into the caster. Per GM of the Angry Ankheg tribe.

"You're there, are you?" Serra harrumps, casting Fire Sneeze not only to stop the spellcasting but also to delight his squire (and hopefully not burn the place down).

"Strike here! It's here!" Serra points to the space between he and Anevia.

A curse comes from the space between them, the chanting stopped for the moment.

"Where.is.my.WIFE?" Anevia asks, slashing at the invisible creature trapped between the two of them.

Anevia's breath catches as Ely mentions her name, but doesn't comment. Instead, she faces her foe, swinging for his throat.

The Gnome continues his circumnavigation of the home, apparently not finding any entrance except via the now closed front door. After passing Xanthos, presumably patiently waiting and still laden with Horgus, he will check to see if the door is locked, while looking and listening for sounds of continued combat.

"You don't want to get involved, old man." His smile turns vicious as he continues. "He's not worth it!"

Beagan opens the door and joins the fray. "Don't worry, guys. There are no obvious exits; he's trapped!"

Xanthos rolls his eyes and lumbers in, with Horgus still strapped to his back.

He tries once more to cast, protecting himself from the surrounding forces.

Eli watches Serra shift through the room, trying to root out the truffle that is the half-orc. When he succeeds in his own way to bring the half-orc to light again, Eli swings again. "There you are..."

Lucerne Hammer: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22 for 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 damage

Eli looks past the crowd, as Beagan opens the front door. "Master Beagan, the door! Either enter and close it, or close it and wait for the half-orc to fall!"

Serra taunts the half orc, drawing the attack that ends his invisibility while distracting him to help Ely's next attack. Ely swings! and strikes the oaf in the head with his hammer. The man sways, but bloody and defiant, he still stands.

Puffing, then huffing, Serra keeps his battlecalm.
Oh, he wants to slay this orc, this
Sinister villain and threat to Anevia.
"That was a solid blow, Ely!"

Thankfully, the table provides cover for Kastor. I
Would not want him in this battle. There will be
Other battles for him to fight when he is older.

Truthfully, Serra has been feeling more alive of recent. Perhaps, the
Hiking, fighting, and marching had begun to shed some weight.
One would not yet call him svelte, or even fit, but it was
Undeniable that he had changed over the last week. Gone was
Sad and glum that permeated his being.
And in it's place, among these kindred souls, a
New Serra was emerging. A hero? No. But someone less
Damned by (his own) demons. Carry on, brave Serra!
