Hi All, I just wanted to touch base about the next couple of weeks. I don't really expect to start the next book for 1-2 weeks and I will give you notice before we do. In between that time and now, I hereby promise that the usual rule of "don't split the party" can be suspended safely.

Looking over item creation rules, odds of Grasker making anything with craft wonderous that requires a caster level look poor. Grasker has a spellcraft of +5.
The DC to create a magic item is 5 + the caster level for the item. Failing this check means that the item does not function and the materials and time are wasted.
Note that all items have prerequisites in their descriptions. These prerequisites must be met for the item to be created. Most of the time, they take the form of spells that must be known by the item's creator (although access through another magic item or spellcaster is allowed). The DC to create a magic item increases by +5 for each prerequisite the caster does not meet.
Grasker can probably craft some simpler things, like pearls of power. Maybe I can catch up on his paperwork tonight.
I've been scolded schooled that OOC calls for crafting can be keyed into just as easily as IC discussions, however drunk someone might be :)

I will be traveling all over heck from 8/30 to 9/20 or so. I *should* have internet access most of the days, save for when I'm in the air or on a long hikes through wherevertheheck I am.
Most of the places I will be staying will have internet, but cannot promise anything. I expect that I'll be usual 'charming' and able-posting yahoo for most of the vacation.
However, if you're waiting on me for more than 8 hours, feel free to GMPC me.

Well, in fairness to Cole, he does have a house available with three rooms and four adults to fit into it somehow...
I mean sure we could share rooms. People do it all the time. But you know, Cole likes his independence.

Prot from Evil would give an addict a +2 and a resave vs the affects of addiction.
