Xzavier makes his way to the library, leaning heavily on his cane as he jaunts across the tiled floor. Harbinger looks up from the book it was reading.
"Not now, Harbinger. Keep up with the research. I am disgruntled enough by my experiences from the previous night."
The metallic man looks back at the book.
"Ah, Saliger, Jerall. Good to see you again. I see you managed to escape last night's festivities unscathed. I have returned from my unavoidable but perhaps understandable absence."

"Glad to see that everyone made it. I think we have a few things we need to discuss. First off, who is the mysterious Mr. E that seemed to lure all of us to the Bizarre Bazaar. Why did he lure all of us there last night as well? What ties us together to this man?" Saliger stops for a second and lets everything sink in. Saliger continues "While I really don't know, I believe that the mysterious Mr. E is actually your old student Exetor, you remember him Xzavier, kind of a punk, not sure if he was a genius or a drug addict type. Anyway, thats all I can think of. So we all went to meet him, but why? He told me he had a tome on creation that he would sell at market value, how about you two?"
"I also was promised a tome. It would seem he knows how to pull us into dangerous places at dangerous times. I wonder, also, if he might have tipped off the law enforcement at such an inopportune moment."

"It's certainly possible Xzavier, though why would he invite us just to get us arrested? It seems odd. Of course, the whole situation is odd so its certainly possible. I am glad you finagled your way out of jail anyway, how was it?"
"Let us say that I don't wish to talk about it. It felt as though I should have avoided capture, I can outleap about any man here, but it would seem that whatever Powers that Be preferred I not escape."
I'm waiting to see if I have the old journal written in code. If so I'll take it out and suggest that it may have some valuable information in it... but I don't know if i have it...
"You can keep your secrets yourself, my friend. If we ever need your jail-breaking prowess, we may need to call upon you, but hopefully that will not be an issue again..." he teases.
Looking at the text Alan left for him,"Well, this is rather familiar." Jerall notes, opening the book Alan left. "Blegh why can't people stick to common? Honestly!" Gentelman, think you can use your vast skills to decipher this text here?"[/b] He looks at Saliger, whom he recalls is able to read any language, and Xzavier who certianly has more significant code-breaking skills than his own....
the book was coded, and the journal of an old professor...

Xzavier is almost certain that Saliger will be able to decode the text, but chances are that whatever secrets it's hiding will be doubly encoded in myth and mysteries.
