Well, that's some crap, I'm staggered I will slip into the alley way and use my scroll of disguise self on myself to look like an old bum, and I will use my diviners fortune roll for my disguise check (giving me a total of 25 disguise). I'll add a good looking effect with prestidigitation as well, some mud on my clothes and the smell of boozes. I will also manifest precognition. I will very slowly(as I am staggered and acting old) begin to move back towards the university, trying to remain out of sight, and will burn my precognition: Stealth 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17

Thats a pretty bad roll, I am going to use my reroll ability on that 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17

Well, the force is disturbed, hopefully the disguise is enough!

Saliger, Jerall, and Archibald you make it home bruised and battered but safe. Xzavier we need to discuss what happened to you, so when you get back send me a pm please I am going to advance this to the next day at school. So could you please tell me what you are doing for the rest of the night?

Saliger is pretty beat up, so he is going to go to sleep and rest and recover. If I have time I'd like to copy grease into my spell book and make a scroll of it as well. I'd also like to make a scroll of vanish. This would take 5 hours of time, so not sure if we'll have that before something happens.

After all that I go to the library to speak with Jerall. "Glad you made it out of there in one piece, heck I'm glad I made it out in one piece. Obviously the bazaar was a bad idea.. Any word from Xzavier, we have a class to teach in a couple hours..."

Jerall gets home, cleans himself up, hangs up his armor, glad to have escaped the authorities. He goes to the library to look up some works by Exetor. He's got the scroll with schematics with him, in case Saliger shows up Maybe the book Xzavier was looking at, in case he didn't end up buying it himself. He pulls down some materials, leafing through pages, and requesting one of the clerks bring him a drink and some bread.

It's late so when Saliger arrives he finds Jerall face down in a book. Waking up, he groggily comments, "I'm sure Xzaver figgured something out. He is quick on his feet. Anyway, it wasn't a total waste."[b] He pull sout the scroll and tosses it to the Blue Goblin. [b]"Cost me 50, thought ya might get something interesting out of it. He grins slyly at Saliger, having talked the merchant into parting with it at less than a third the initial price.

[b]"Whatcha think?"

"No way, he told me he wouldn't part with it for...." he goes silent for a minute while he ponders thoughtfully, getting a little scowl on his face.

"Thanks Jerall, your not to bad for a human type. Well, I'm gonna plan on teaching class alone then". For any time before class I will try and analyze the scroll. What kind of check is it?

I'm going to give Xzavier one more day to check in, or I am going to move forward. Sorry to delay you guys.

I am trying to think of how to carry this game out with just two as it looks as if we have drops. It may take me a few days to get ideas

What is your character's plans for the immediate future?

Outside of my crafting I had no real character goals, and most of those were going to come up throughout the story. It will be about level three that I get what I need to start on more concrete goals. I guess for the time being the gathering of wealth and knowledge would be driving my character. What can I imprint my psicrystal with, and what kind of wealth and checks would be needed?

"Wow, this is a really good scroll, thanks Jerall, I appreciate this."

I'm still here. I'm just a little lost as to what the game plan is for right now and having trouble getting a grip on the world.

Saliger prepares to teach his classes but the disappearance of Xzavier leaves you a little distracted. What do you want to do during the teaching, I do have something for you immediately after class.

Dr. Crane and Jerall what are your plans for the day?

Saliger is perplexed, but knows he better cover for his taller, less attractive friend. During class Saliger is going to teach about the variable effects of symbols while spellcasting to produce variant results with spells.

"So adding a horizontal line through the focus of any spell can help add to it properties that can actually knock your foes to the ground, but it only works on spells that drive with force."

Jerall continues reading up on Exetor's work out of curiosity, and of course if the girls come for their time in the restricted section in return for their assistance, he shall oblige, and assist with their research as well.

Jerall. After helping the students with their research. You get that Exeter was a genius. A drug afford genius but a genius nonetheless. It seems his last records have him seekig new ways to expand his mental horizon.

Dr Crane. You are approached by your TA and asked if you could help clear up some plans on a suit he is working. It seems as though he is having trouble gettin the energy to stabilize in the suit.

Of course, of course. Have you tried rerouting the flow from the clockwork current accelerator through the reverse power cuplink?

Assumed he might be trying a clockwork design.

"Well Shari, I certainly have my strengths in the philosophies. You know, come to think of it, yes, yes I am. I am practically a genius in such areas. Xzavier is such a stickler as well, no flexibility on his outlook. But me, I'm always learning the best way to cut through to a core value, and I'm willing to adjust as circumstances change. Anyway Shari, why do you ask?"

Sitting in the Library, Jerall lets his head drop to the table. Means of "expanding the mind", magical or alchemical, can be dangerous, and if successful can make a man incredibly dangerous. Knowledge is power, after all.

Looking at the time, Jerall takes a break, leaving the library to see if he can track down the students that were at the Bazaar and make sure they all made it back safely.

Dr. Crane the student shows you his plans and they do seem to be clockwork however the energy seems a little unorthodox than anything you are used to. As you examine his plans he seems to be using positive energy for the powering of his suit.

Saliger Shari talks to you after class. Taking a seat on the top of the desk she explains You seem to be the only one I can talk to about this since Xzavier is no longer here. This dream should a Demon child with five wings descending from the heavens and fighting back all the demon spawn with a flaming bastard sword. Takes the mantle of the other gods and fights with them. What do you think this all means.

Jerall all students are present and if you would like you may walk in during Shari's conversation with Saliger.

"Well Shari, dreams are usually the subconscious mind expressing it self to you." Saliger is very excited as the mind and its inner workings is one of his specilties and he is almost positive of the working of this poor deluded girls mind, and how to help her.

Continuing on excitedly "As such, your own personal symbology would play a large part in what this might actually mean. For instance, a demon child with five wings would likely represent a force of chaos or unnaturalness, as no natural thing has five wings. As it is descending out of the heavens, and most people's symbology of heaven is a place of good things and light it would represent that this force is a good thing in your life. Fire is often a symbol of cleansing or renewal to the subconscious, and as it is destroying the evil this seems to fit the current meaning. The taking of the mantle and the subsequent battle with the gods likely represents you giving up your foolish belief in a deity and taking a more worldly view of the universe. So if this makes sense with your symbology, the discarding of the unnatural, chaotic and religious things in your life is a necessary battle that you must take on and cleanse yourself from to get better. Do any of the symbol mean anything to you personally so I might help you decipher this dream."

"Or it's a prophecy of doom and destruction?" Jerall says, walking in the door with a slight yawn, rubbing his eyes. "Please pardon the intrusion, Saliger, Shari," Jerall says with a smile. "One question to consider is why it is a "Demon Child" fighting for the greater good. I'm no expert in the subconscious mind but could there be some sort of metaphorical redemption of this "Demon-child" or is a sinister being fighting against rival forces of darkness in a bid for supremacy?" A somewhat uncharacteristic look of inquisitiveness graces Jerall's face, as he clearly is not quizzing or testing Saliger here, but asking his opinion on an element of the dream.

WHy he's taking an interest is anyone's guess, as is why he's here at this moment, but it is likely a crazy-random-happen-stance!

Saliger chuckles and little at this intrusion.

"Oh Jerall, there is no such thing as prophecy, I thought a man as educated a you would know that...Unfortunately a number of academia believe in such silly notions." Saliger shakes his head sadly as thoughts drift through his mind. He continues "Perhaps the demon child is a manifestation of Shari's dark side trying to break free...there really is a lot of variables in this particular dream, so any insights on what we've spoke about so far Shari?"

Saliger looks over the class as well, trying to see if any other student has anything to add to the subject.

Shari looks at you and clutches her pendant. Maybe it's a representation of things to come. With Aroden and Iomadae dead that leaves a seat of divinity open. It's not often Desna visits me but it's usually a wallop

My you certainly..haha...pulled a fast one." Saliger is now laughing so hard he grips his stomach and looks as if he might fall out of the chair.

Jerall this five winged demon is none other than Raziel, an Empyreal Lord.

Shari look at you a bit frustrated. I was serious. After all not all the gods perished. Shelyn and Desna still exist and have strong influences

My character is an atheist if you remember, he is serious.

"My poor child, I am being serious. I do not understand how so many have fallen for this poor trick the men in white robes have laid down upon us. Truly a depressing place. I did not mean to offend your sensibilities children, but these gods not only didn't die, they never existed."}

Jerall rolls his eyes as Saliger gets started again and places a hand upon his head hoping to quiet the blue, "Sadly the study of religion is not my strongest suit, but the 5-winged Demon-Child is an image of Raziel, the Empyreal Lord, and son or dark beings."

Looking at Salger, "You do believe in demons, at least. This creature is a being of light, but the child of an infernal lord. There could be more than subconscious musings to this dream, regardless of the existance of Gods which you so vehemently deny the existence of. He considers briefly and adds to Saliger, " The presence of Raziel in her dream could indicate an aspect of her personality or life with darker origins being used to have a positive impact?"

To Shari he gives a look that seems to say Please placate him. He won't be convinced.

Saliger ponders this newest development for a few moment, before beginning "Unfortunately I am ill equipped to handle matters of a religious nature, but your insight into the dark side seems very likely now that I think of it..hmmmm..very intelligently said Jerall though I will likely need more insight into this nature."

Saliger claps his hands together, notifying that he has done his thinking on this matter. Then he looks at Jerall and says "Oh, and Jerall, there's no need to use that accusatory tongue here, among friends. Besides the burden of proof lies on the one making the statement or assumption, not the other way around."

Shari says, It's more than that. There are ones rising up to define the elder ones. It's a fighting chance. It's hope!

Dr. Crane you are in your debate with your TA when there is a knock on the door.

Saliger kind of smirks, slowly shaking his head. He tries to dismiss the subject by standing up from his chair, and giving a slight wave. Hoping to get back to teaching the class, Saligers looks at Shari hoping she gets the clue so he can dismiss the subject gracefully.

"I don't mean to come across as accusatory, Saliger. I'm sorry if I did. We simply have a different perspective on divinity, but there certainly are powerful extra-planar beings that are likely involved with Shari's dream." The thought that there are no gods is hits home for Jerall, as it was the death of Nethys that destroyed his family, causing his father to flee home after loosing control of his magic.

Waiting to see if Saliger has called to mind something that may be useful, Jerall shuffles as if ready to move. "I am interested in the potential implications of this dream"

Shari excuses herself, it seems the discourse as taken an awful taste in her mouth with that she leaves.

I am waiting to see if Dr Crane answers if not we shall see where this goes

Saliger doesn't seem to even notice Shari's upset and continues on with the lecture, giving Jerall a little nod and a wink!

Jerall gives Saliger a grin and a quick nod, and as he turns, oblivious to Shari, jerall uses that lack of attension to slip out as well. He takes a quick jog, nothing out of the ordinary, as he is occasionally seen sprinting through the hallowed halls of the university. He quickly catches up to Shari, saying on approach "Shari, wait a moment. I appologize that I did not seem to believe you, but had I took too enthusiastic an interest it would have turned into another one of Saliger's rants. Please, dear, do tell me more about your dream, or vision rather. Raziel taking up godhood to face the elder ones? Was there more? Furthwr details that could provide deeper symbolism, further cues? Some reason beyond hope that you received this vision? Action to take?"

Alan stops by with a book in hand but steps out and quietly waits outside.

"Who was in the Cage? and was it some kind of unique sand, or just a vast sort of desert?"

Sorry i been off-grid for a while... Um, I'm not really sure what to about figuring out more about the elder gods.

Jerall stands up and opens the door for Alan, and invites him in. "What did you need Alan?"

I guess Saliger is finishing up class.

If Xavier were there, he could answer questions about the Elder Gods, and dreams in general, but I have no idea where he is... Which is kind of unnerving.

Alan steps in book in hand and sees Shari in distress, places the book down and runs after her but not before saying, The cage contains The Rough Beast.

"Curse those guards. What on earth were they thinking anyway?!" The door bursts open as Xzavier jauntily stalks into the room. "Can someone explain to me exactly why I was arrested? I wasn't even sure what type of illegal activities were going on there."

Although his robes are disheveled and a little dirty, Xzavier maintains a near regal bearing.

As he looks over any remaining students or acolytes he pinches the bridge of his nose and shuffles to a tall-backed chair to sit down.

"Well, look what the cat drug in! Good to see you Xzavier, you had me a little worried. While I'm not sure what you are talking about, I hope that you weren't doing anything immoral last night." Saliger gives Xzavier a quick wink and continues "Class is almost finished for the day, so why don't you go rest off your hangover and get a quick bath. Also Shari was looking for you. Why don't you tell Jerall and the three of us meet up in the library this afternoon."

"Ah, Shari. Yes, of course. I shall see her at my next possible opportunity. I am only saddened that last night's events occurred before they could be deemed useful."

Jerall pauses as the boy runs off after Shari. "Well, i fouled that up, didn't I. Hopefully Xzavier shows up soon. He'd be the one to talk to about all this. You there!" he calls to a passing aid. "Should you see Xvavier, tell him I'd like to talk o him rather urgently about student."
