Hey Hmm. That's funny. I was actually thinking about PMing you earlier today to see if you wanted to come and lurk the Red Arm campaign :)
That tracker is exactly what we needed. I chose an evergreen currently because it meant basically everyone can play for credit, but I'd prefer to run one that no one has yet played. I'll go ahead and fill that out!
Sir D. Arthraven |
With Hmm so enthusiastic and active during our crisis, and now here too, it'd be cool if i could meet her in person.
Ah well... ;)
GM Hmm |
Heh. I spotted the name in the Online Campaigns sidebar, and had to check it out.
Where are you from, Sir Arthraven?
EDIT: Amsterdam! Another reason for me to visit Europe... Alas, it won't happen anytime soon. I will be going to Paizocon 2017 though!
Hmm
GM Red |
I wish there was one of those big conventions in Canada, because I'd definitely go!
If I had some RL friends who were into Pathfinder as much as I am, I'd probably go to GenCon or Paizocon with them.
GM Hmm |
There are some in Canada. A bunch of my friends go to JimCon. I won't go this year because I've done too many cons this year. One more and my family will revolt!
As for finding friends to go with... Meet up with all the great people you know from online. That's the main reason I'm headed to Paizo next year.
Or... You can come see us Minnesotans at SkalCon or Con of the North! We're a fun group. We promise to show you a good time.
Hmm
Sirettis |
This session tracker will be very useful... it's hard to remember what I played in already.
Blaster Corsac |
I keep a spreadsheet, but it doesn't track the evergreens well. Since I usually don't play those outside of level 1, it doesn't generally matter. But in this case, I had a character going through 3 evergreens, but he already had 1 credit I forgot about, so he is actually level 2.
Blaster will tag team out soon, and then back in again when he can.
Sirettis |
I hope Blaster wasn't too insulted by D's dog comment...no! Come back!

JimCon is in Winnipeg, unfortunately not that close to Toronto... Ah well.
Some day, I might pony up the money and head to one of the bigger cons. I might be able to convince some of the guys I run my tabletop campaign with, or I could just go alone and hope that I bump into some forum friends, haha.
GM Red |
Heading out to GM my local group shortly... Updates will be slow and spotty today.
Bishop 'The Dark Augur' |
Where you playing out of Red? I miss face to face games even if I don't have time to play them right now
GM Red |
Game ended up running longer than usual! And my duergar commander almost PKed a gnome sorcerer. Oops. I'll have a post up tomorrow morning.
@Bishop I play at my friend's place. I wouldn't mind playing PFS at a game shop... No idea where they are in Toronto though.
Bishop 'The Dark Augur' |
Couple of places that I know of are:
Dueling Ground
401 Games
are the two that come immediately to mind.
GM Red |
^ I've walked by 401 Games a few times, never been in. I should really check it out. Do you ever go?
Bishop 'The Dark Augur' |
I haven't been there in about a year but the last time I heard was they were having them on Tuesday evenings.
I'm in school, work ft and have a toddler so my time for gaming face to face is so out of the question these days. But I do miss it :)
Mr. Peppers |
Face to face gaming hasn't happened for quite a while. Roll20 and PbP fill a nice need for those that are quite rural or lack the regular time blocks required for F2F.
GM Red |
Ah Bishop, I appear to have cross posted you...
I also have limited time for face-to-face gaming. The group I run is typically once every 6 weeks.
GM Hmm |
PFS in Minnesota is an all you can eat gaming extravaganza -- it's pretty easy to fit a live game into your schedule when it's happening six days a week around here. I tend to vary what days I have available, but I can usually make games 2-3 times a month live. It also gives me a regular GMing outlet. Although I like to play, I think I'm happiest GMing about twice as often as I play. There is something satisfying about fleshing out the NPCs they give us in PFS scenarios and making them come to life.
Hmm
Jasmine Wu |
"Hello, everyone!" A tien bard steps in. She waves to everyone, then blows a kiss to Mr. Peppers. "Have you heard the rumor about these brand new missions? So exciting!"
Three new evergreens, all interlinked, and they all can be played to level 3. If you do all three, you can use CAMPAIGN mode. Swoon!
GM Hmm |
BTW, you guys are just booking! It's so much fun to check in and see all the new posts. I took over an orphaned game of this adventure, and am trying to move them forward, but they've been tough to get up to speed.
Hmm
Sir D. Arthraven |
If you're looking for something gruesome, (non PFS though) Carnival of Tears is a sure horror flick scenario.
GM Red |
Oh, sweet, they sanctioned that module. I bought the hardcopy last month and wanted to run it, but prefer PFS material.
That could be an option for what we do next.
Mr. Peppers |
Damn I get some actual work done for 45min and come back to a flood of posts. Low level adventures are so fun, as are mid level ones for sure. The spooky Halloween theme sounds like a good time. Glad to see more options for replay, not that I've played many adventures yet though.
/waves at Jasmine (Sorry I missed our tea date!)
Uesugi Hideyoshi |
Uesugi will be attending that one everyone make sure to bring lots of healing potions hehe
Uesugi Hideyoshi |
Luurg is awesome. Disgusting and smelly. But awesome!

I dunno. Seems alright to me!
Mr. Peppers |
Hopefully there are some water adventures I can get him into... he's got a lot for me to develop. Mr Peppers can only dream of having as much flavor.
GM Red |

This is exactly me, hehe.
"That's enough work done for the hour, let me refresh my campaigns!"Mr. Peppers |
Wow I was gone 20mins and nothing when I got back? WTH
Side note, first signs of winter out there.. first slushy rain of the year.. hopefully it doesn't go to snow... too soon!
GM Red |
We got that last night, and it felt like -1 this morning. :)
I'm one of the few that likes cold weather, a good thing considering where I live.
Mr. Peppers |
I love cold weather too, I just don't have a need to be commuting in the snow this early. Cold means ice, means ice fishing :)
Sirettis |
It's hovering around freezing in Boston. I'll bring my plants indoors and stop jogging outside once I hear frost warnings- that's when it's winter!
Mr. Peppers |
I just drove through Boston last week to the Cape... a traffic horror show that was. And to cap it all off ended up getting a head cold. Best to not leave the great state of ME.
Bishop 'The Dark Augur' |
Not me. Im just not naive as our Dwarven friend. I smell trap...plus Bishop deals with these unscrupulous types all the time
Mr. Peppers |
Not I. I tend to treat characters with no ranks in sense motive and not a high wisdom as fairly trusting. Detect spells that I can cast all day just make sense though to be used very very liberally. Especially by someone who flaunts his 'mageyness'.
Begrilda Hammerhild |
Nor I, although I am playing it in another PBP simultaneously, thought at a much slower pace. I'm actually in the group that HMM mentioned earlier. Thankfully, we're running the meet-up option, so I'm getting a chance to see all three tasks. :)
RE: Cold weather - We've been getting near freezing temps at night for a few weeks now here in Denver, but daytime temps are still very pleasant (70s and 80s usually). I'm a Florida-boy by birth, though, so I'm in no hurry for the snow.
Sirettis |
I've played this before in Core with a Druid.
Sir D. Arthraven |
I'm in a coastal climate, and snow's a rarity in such regions.
At most we get some temperatures of 0 celcius for a few days, other than that, no snowy winter for us. :(
Mr. Peppers |
Snow is nice but it gets old to drive in for 4 months of the year. It does make for some beautiful scenery though.
GM Red |
Okay, so Sirettis and Ace have played it before. The reason I'm asking is because there are some randomized elements coming up, as well as suggestions for the "easy" choices. Given that we have a few level 2 players and some who have played it before, I will roll for everything instead of choosing the easy options.
--
I agree with you about snow, but I don't drive much. I live right downtown so I commute by subway. I hated snow big time when I used to drive!

I think I'll stop at this point for today to allow anyone else who hasn't caught up yet to do so. I'll have the next part up tomorrow morning. I'm very impressed with our group's speed though. We started this on October 21st and we've probably completed about 50-60% of it so far. :)
GM Hmm |
The speed of this group is endlessly entertaining to me!

Thanks for welcoming me. I love hanging out with you guys.
Sigh. My Harpy Queen in Kortos lost initiative, so I worry that I may not get a chance for her to sing the song I composed for her. So I'll share it with you for your amusement, because I love villains who sing. All villains should sing and have witty dialogue! Really, it should be a PFS requirement.
Here’s your chance, you can fly, having the time of your life
See our prey, watch them scream, yeah I’m the Harpy Queen
Soaring above, she looks down on you with a satisfied expression.
Friday morn and they’re too slow
Looking out at them below
So we play the right music, getting in the song
You come in and now you all belong
Anybody ready to die?
Day is young and the music's high
With my dragon kin, everything is fine
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...
She grins as she circles over you, wings flapping strongly.
You are my dancing meat, young and sweet, o what a treat
Dancing meat, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can die, having the time of your life
See our prey, watch them scream, yeah I’m the Harpy Queen
She turns to her dragons.
You’re a teaser, you turn 'em on
Leave them burning and then you're gone
Looking out for another, anyone will do
You're in the mood now, advance!
And when you get the chance...
She looks down affectionately at all of you and sings again...
You are my dancing meat, young and sweet, o what a treat
Dancing meat, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can die, having the time of your life
See our prey, watch them scream, yeah I’m the Harpy Queen
