"Do you still sense the presence of a shard?" she asks allowing the others in the telepathic bond to hear his answer.


Sādhanā:
"Everywhere. It's as if the vampire know what these shards are and how to manipulate them," Oblivion answers. "The headstones and even the mausoleums are crafted from it."

The air in the mausoleum is stuffy. Two open coffins occupy the room. You can clearly see their owners "resting" inside them.

"Damn it!" Sādhanā curses. This was turning out to be a disaster with pretty much nothing accomplished except Celia getting hurt and warning their enemies. She takes it all in as quickly as possible trying to figure out a solution to everything they needed to deal with in front of them.

This is just my opinion, but I think you guys should pull outta there ASAP and regroup. Celia is in no condition to face anything else right now, and it would be easier to finish off everything in there with some reinforcements....but like I said, do what you feel you need to and that's just my opinion.

I think we need some explosives for that place to make sure all the shards are destroyed since that place is basically built out of a shard. Right?

It's not actually a bad thing for us to be a little hurt or challenged sometimes. Not everything should be a cake walk.

I'm just asking that you excersise some caution here. I know people get hurt...it's part of our job and goes with the territory of being an adventurer...we can fix hurt...dead is a little more complicated depending on the circumstances. I'm just asking that you be careful.

I'm sorry...I don't mean to sound like such a pain in the a$$ about it....I just can't get rid of the bad feeling I have and I'm worried about you guys making it back okay. I'm not saying it should be easy....I just don't want anyone to die. That's all.


Sadhana is sure that if the buildings and golems are made from a shard, Oblivion will destroy them in a single strike, perhaps two for the larger ones. The magus realizes that staking the vampires isn't really necessary if the group beheads them and anoints the heads in holy water.

Ylrhea waits for Sienna and Sadhana to finish with the second set of vampires before going to the next mausoleum. The rogue sees one of the vampire spawn and the vampire who had wielded the axe. "Looks like he wasn't the big cheese here either."

"Do you feel like you can go on Celia, or should we head back?"

The last mausoleum only has one coffin. It looks like there may have been another but it was recently removed.
