Everywhere that was water last night, is now ice, and there was a lot of water. I'm afraid to go outside because I have a tendency to fall on ice.
Yep, all day yesterday and then last night it rained really good for a while before going back to a mist and then stopping, so there was lots of water everywhere and now it's just ice.

No such luck. Had to go to work, but I made it so I'm okay. I just nearly fell on thed ice trying tho get our iced scraper outg of the back of the van. I think I kinda hurt my hand when I slammed it against the van to keep from falling. My wrist kinda hurts.
Sorry kiddo. I'm glad you managed to stop yourself from falling though.

Well, it wasn't absolutely horrible. We had three kids out, so we only had nine today. I somehow managed to get 30 minutes of overtime this week, so Ashley let me leave at 4, instead of 4:30, which was nice since it was a Friday with no sleep and children that acted like they had crack or something for breakfast who screamed almost all day long.
So, Henry took me to our favorite Mediterranean restaurant for Gyros and humus, and then went to the store to get some lunch stuff, and other basic. needs, and then he took me to Best Buy where hed got me myh early anniversary gift. A new monitor for my computer.
No more trying to see through lines, or having to play, find the disappearing tool bar. To be fair, my HP monitor served me faithfully for 14 years. Rest in peace old friend.

Kinda feel scuzzy about Walmart giving employees a bonus and starting off new hires at $11 because it's because of the tax bill. I'm sure they're going to set us on fire to make their money back.
I'm sorry she's not feeling well, hope she feels better soon. I had to pass out last night. I was just so tired. I made Henry lay down with me so I could go to sleep. This weather has us not feeling very well either. I gonna tryh to get some more sleep, I'm just so tired.

I'm making chocolate peanut butter chip cookies.
Well, Henry was hurting and tossing and turning for like an hour and couldn't go to sleep, so he's back up again. I gave him some naproxen and am making us some tea to see if it helps him go to sleep. We didn't even sleep in really this morning either. Well..that doesn't seem to matter with me cuz I can't hardly sleep at night anyways. I can't wait till I change jobs. This being up with the evil day star is for the birds!
I'm sorry hope he feels better soon. and you both get some rest.
Heh...we'll see. He's up playing a game to try and get his brain to relax enough to go to sleep. I'm just playing bingo on facebook. It's the most mind numbing thing I can think of and it is kinda making me sleepy.

We only have 5 kids so far today.
Well, one more showed up...but that just put us at 6, and all the classes are low today so Ashley told me I could go home early since Sandy didn't want to. I'm glad, because assistant teachers never get asked if they want to leave early. It's always the lead teachers that get to leave. So I left! Lol
I don't care, I'm not gonna be there anymore after the 12th anyways. So, now I can start cooking our chicken around noon and a little after Henry gets home, it'll be ready! I've had it marinating in the fridge since last night.
Just happy that I get to come home early.

I received an e-mail saying it was delivered by USPS, so I was just checking. I think it should show up tomorrow, actually.
Okay, so trying not to stress out too much. The snow has finally come and even though we're only supposed to get like 2 inches, I guess that's enough to make everyone go bat $hit crazy and drive like maniacs. Henry has been really sick off and on these last few months and missed quite a bit of work, so unless the school district closes tomorrow...he has to go out and try and drive in this stuff tomorrow. Well...I should say this morning because he has to leave at 3:30 am, earlier if the weather and roads are really crappy...which, out here in Arkansas it doesn't take a whole lot for the roads to be crappy and treacherous.
So, if he has to go in tomorrow, I'm having him take the van and if they don't close our school I'll just tell Ashley that I had to let Henry take the van and have no way of getting there unless someone wants to come and pick me up. His car is 17 years old with brakes that barely handle rain, we're not taking it out in snow and ice.

They just announced that North Little Rock School District and Offices are all closed, so if he has to call in it won't count against him. I hope that makes him feel better. He's outside with the dog right now before he tries to lay down again. The neighbors upstairs are yelling, maybe he feels cheated by his prostitute.
Well...Little Rock and North Little Rock are completely shut down. I'm wishing I had picked up milk this weekend cuz now we're out and we can't get to the store. I texted Ashley to tell her I couldn't come in cuz I'm cramping so badly that it's making me sick and she said we were closed today, which I didn't know because there was never a specific school closing announcement for our school and I couldn't find it in any of our listings. Anyways, we're staying in.

Had a neurologist appt with Sivan, followed by Neuropsychology appt, then take X to the library, then homework with him. Gonna take a nap then head to work. Will post when I get in.

Ashley texted everyone tonight azxnd told us the school is closed again tomorrow. I guess I have another day to get to feeling better. I should feel better by Thursday.

Well, school is open again tomorrow. It's a good thing too cuz I've been getting antsy just sitting around the house. And Henry needs to stop trying to use tickle jutsu on me. Lol

Carla isn't feeling good today, which means she's leaving at 3, so Ashley asked me to stay late. This will make up whatever PTO I didn't have to cover the snow days, so I won't lose any pay.
