Kirzon:
As you move towards the wooden beam your eyes catch something off to the south along the walkway a small trail of blood

You vault over waterway with relative ease, Him. The walkway continues to head east here but also heads south. There is another set of wooden beams laid here that would allow you to cross over to the north side of this eastern channel.

On the opposite corner Merelda and her group pause along the walkway. Innis with her dark vision indicates that this passage ends in a storm water grate and like the previous passage this walkway connects and leads around to the eastern walkway across from you.

Which way are we supposed to go, Kirzon? What does the map say?"

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Kirzon:
Most of these chambers look the same on the map so it is still difficult to say where you are on the map. You still feel you need to travel southwest to find the path that represents the line on the map

Him:
Moving into the chamber you see the sewer water flows in from the north and swirls about this room, drawing larger pieces of garbage and refuse into a floating pool of trash at the center. In the middle of trash, bobbing up and down, float three corpses. Two of the bodies are the same the race as the pale blue fey that got away during the fight in Vasaro's inn. The other bodies are two male humans their heads shaved.

"Got some corpses in the water here, two of those little blue blighters, and two cultists, probably," Him calls back to the group, "think it is worth fishing them out?"

You said 3 corpses and 2 of each?

typo lets make it 2 of each so 4 corpses in all

"Might's well. But look out fer disease when ya do it." Kirzon will approach and help fish out the bodies carefully, using rags or whatever means are available to clean off any gunk that gets on him or other party members.

Merelda ponders out loud.

I may be able to snag something semi-solid with my whip, but I would need help hauling that mass closer
for inspection...and I am NOT swimming in THAT! Would Boros be adept in the water Kirzon? He could look
the mass over for anything useful too.

Kirzon responds to Merelda's suggestion. "Ach, Boros can swim alright, but this 'ere water ain't fer swimmin'" Kirzon wrinkles his nose at the thought. "If we canna get tha bodies without goin' in, we'd better jus' keep movin'"

"Ya make a good point, Nicias. Whatever killed them folks could still be 'round 'ere. Keep an eye out."

Even if he can't get the bodies safely, Kirzon wants to at least identify cause of death, since whatever killed those guys could be coming after the party next. Heal, Guidance, Inspiration, Innis: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 1 + 2 + (2) = 17

The whip breaks the surface of the water coiling around one of the fey creatures' neck. Merelda tugs on the whip to make sure she has it secured and begins to drag the body through the sewage towards the walkway.

Merelda:
One in particular looks deep enough that it probably severed the fey's spinal column. The gashes looked like a heavy blade hacked at this derro.

Lililinda:
You begin to concentrate attempting to determine if there are any magical auras. You cannot sense any...but please make a Perception check

Nicias:
Nothing moves unexpectedly out of the water and you can still see the bodies bobbing up and down as the current from the main eastern channel flows in here.
