Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

hehe no bottles for Molotovs. :)

I wanted to wait for Lililinda to respond before moving on.

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

Oh well...my inner Pyromaniac is disappointed, but will soldier on.

Inactive

Kirzon bought 8 flasks of Alchemist's fire with his spare gold (because he is sorely lacking in combat ability otherwise). If you or anyone else wants, he'll give you one.

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

I'll take it as long as nobody else objects.

One last question @GM:

I own and I am proficient with a Hand Crossbow.

Could I use the poisoned small-size crossbow bolt I retrieved, in my medium sized Hand Crossbow? Or is it just not possible without modification/penalties of some sort?

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

I'll take one for Him if you don't mind Kirzon, he ought to be a decent shot with it at least and if we encounter a foe that requires them having them spread about the party is a good idea.

Inactive

@Merelda and Him - Done. Please add 1 alchemist fire each to your inventory, and I'll deduct them from mine.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

Sure, thanks Kirzon :)

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

Cool! Thanks Kirzon.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (HP 30/30, AC 18 (T14, FF14), Init +2, F/R/W 3/4/1, Per+4 Alchemist (Grenadier) 3 Bombs 2/8

Nicias took one too, even though he already has some. They're a back-up for when he runs out of bombs.

Question: do I have anything set up with my Hybridization funnel? I presume not as I was not expecting any trouble today.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Merelda: You can take the bolt that missed and use it for your crossbow.

Nicias: I doubt you would have anything set up so you would have to prepare a mixture right now. Each mixture takes 10 min so this is up to the group and you.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Will get in a post tonight to advance the story for tomorrow morning. Aiming for get to it until around 11:30 pm EDT.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (HP 30/30, AC 18 (T14, FF14), Init +2, F/R/W 3/4/1, Per+4 Alchemist (Grenadier) 3 Bombs 2/8

Okay group, do we have time? I'm guessing not. I also have 2 slots unfilled in my extracts (15 min to fill each, iirc) so if there's anything we particularly need, I can get it with a quarter hour stop.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

I'd say no, I really could not justify it in character, I know if I had contracted a wasting disease I would be high tailing it to the hospital - well unless I had reason to believe it was contagious, etc.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

If anyone else, perhaps Lililinda? Would like Mage Armor from Him's wand let me know and consider it done. Hopefully given our sense of urgency a charge each will get us through.

Inactive

The wasting disease still operates on a daily basis, and not an hourly basis. I wouldn't be against taking a half-hour meal break to fill those slots, at some appropriate point.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

Now that may have been a terrible idea, but it was pretty darn satisfying :)

Inactive

Well played, sir! Nice roll, too.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

I get the feeling I might be happy Him has a decent escape artist score in the future!

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

LOL what is going on!? This has balled out of control quickly.

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

You guys ever try fighting city guards at lvl 2 in any game it never turns out well -_-"

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

It's too late now...its get on board or get left behind time I think Innis.

Technically, we are only intimidating and disabling too. We don't really WANT to hurt them.

It depends on the city (and the GM) I'm sure, but I would say most watch are 1st or 2nd level warriors at
best (NPC class) NOT real fighters.

Now if this were Katapesh or Druma I'd be worried. They hire foreign mercenaries form over the world to
defend their cities at high costs! Cheliax would have Hellknights around...But Cassomir? Just don't know.

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

I was uh thinking more along the lines of witcher, skyrim... [insert any MMO here]. Either way imma grab some popcorn and see how this all turns out

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

You mean in Taldor it so not polite to offer to castrate someone and dance in their entrails? I don't know, you barbarians so strange!

Inactive

Whatever happens, should be entertaining! Innis's comment reminds me of Baldur's Gate, another game where the city guard will kick your ass at low levels.

If we TPK, maybe we get to reroll as guards heading to the Pike & Tankard to investigate? :P

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

LOL, god I love Baldur's Gate, stuck on that last battle again on my tablet. I am hoping we can intimidate, get directions, get the job done and then show the watch commander a pile of dangerous derro corpses and the remains of an evil artefact to mitigate. Intimidate ought to last 1d6 x 10 minutes which should give us time to get directions and be well away.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

Well that was a mess... Succeed on an intimidate check to get information, then before the guard can give the information he gets color sprayed *face palm* Stuff happens, but, well, lets try not to do anything like that again?

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

I'm curious GM.

How is Table 1 doing in comparison?

Inactive

What's the DC on climbing the walls down? I ask because my snake companion probably can't use the rope, but it does have a climb speed so it might be able to make it down on its own.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

Could Kirzon not simply have him wrap around his shoulders? My impression is that a medium sized snake ought to still be relatively light. I am fairly certain I could climb down a rope with a six foot python if it wasn't trying to crush my windpipe :)

Or we could put Boros in Him's hammock and lower him down.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

You can wrap Boros around your neck and climb down with no penalties...

Table 1 that's hard to compare I modified this part for your table. But I can tell you they aren't wanted fugitives of the city!

I'm quite liking how both tables are dealing with their given situation. They are in aftermath of the initial encounter and you guys are a little further.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

Well we are the sexy diplomacy party, its only natural the watch would be after our bodies!

Male Professional Dosser 14/Rules Lawyer6

Do we have an order we are going in? Those who need to melee should go first, ranged after unless we are expecting an attack from behind.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

We had sort of said Him and Boris, Innis, Kirzon, Nicias, Lililinda, Merelda I believe.

Male Professional Dosser 14/Rules Lawyer6

sounds ok for now.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

So now the party tank has a mighty strength of 4! Needed to drop his back up scimitar, but wanted to be cautious on weight since a medium load limits him to Dex mod of 3, light load is now 13lbs and I think he's at 12 - probably going to ask someone to carry his hammock so he can take carry his backup scimitar. Pretty amused his strength went down, but help on the second save via heal would be appreciated as he cannot afford it going any lower!

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

well you now have fortune on your side and +2 to saves and ect if you fail well i tried...

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

Also dwarf's got the next most hp & ac maybe you should let him tank lol

Inactive

I have no concerns about tanking with Kirzon. He's a dwarf and quite tough. I actually thought Nicias would get a turn to throw a bomb at the isolated spider, but I was mistaken.

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

Not really concerned about tanking with Him with Parry his defence is actually much better than his AC.

Also those rolls dammmmn! I forgot about the fire damage from his trait to, crits hurray!

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

Gotta love scimitars and rapiers!

Male human (Keleshite) swashbuckler 2; HP 28/28; Init +4; AC 19, Touch 16, FF 15; F+3, R+7, W+2 (Charmed Life +2 2/3); Perception +7; Panache 0/2; Charmed Life +2 3/3

I do wish it was a little less mandatory to do so to be honest, but yes. But yeah the fact that you get panache back for crits and kills makes it extra special, used derring do there because I was pretty much certain to kill the spider with flank and blessing and then get 2 points back, though sadly Him's pool cannot exceed 2 at the moment. I love Swashbucklers :)

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

Good show Him, but you should have rolled acrobatics twice as per my luck power that I bestowed upon you the round before. I ain't a fighter don't ignore my buffs.

Probably wasn't exactly clear on the effect but it kicks in the round AFTER I use it and occurs on your next 1d20 roll in that round regardless of what it is rolled for.

Inactive

I'm going to have to get used to all the buffs Innis doles out! Pretty interesting!

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

glorified cheerleader

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

is there a better way i should be marking my buffs?

Edit: put where my active buff is on my tagline notice me!

Female Elf Inquisitor (Preacher) 2 | HP 18/18 (Fast Healing 1) | Speed 30ft | AC 17, touch 13, FF 14, CMD 15 | Fort +3 : Ref +3 : Will +5 | Judg. 1/Day | Sud. Shift 5/day; Determ. 0/day | Init +7, Per +6, Sense Mot. +7 | Note:

Mabye on the top or bottom of each post you could show whom you are boosting and how much for what unless you or the GM says otherwise.

That would help to remind me and keep me from having to look back over a bunch of posts to see what you are currently buffing. If there is no change, you can cut and paste for each individual post fromthe prvious ...if you don't mind of course.

Example Such as (or similar format):

Current Boosts
Innis; Mage Armor spell (+4 AC; 1 Hour Duration)
Merry: +2 Devine Skill Bonus (Concentration)
Him: +1 Attack and Damage (Swift Action, Luck Enhancement)

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

Thanks maybe I will start doing that.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

excellent idea Merelda. Probably best to put at the top in [ooc] tags

Inactive

@Lililinda - It's easy to miss from the flurry of posts, but Kirzon gave you a Goodberry a while back to help you recover your 1 lost hitpoint, if you wish.

@Everyone - If you are making a skill check to do something that logically benefits from a little preparation (e.g., opening a locked door, vaulting a large gap, talking to the guard to ask for directions), you can automatically receive a Guidance cantrip from Kirzon if you wish (within reason, of course). That way, you can build it into your die roll without Kirzon having to repeatedly interject that he's praying for you.

F Changeling 3-Cleric(Eccl)/1-Sorceress /1-Bard | HP (+8)29/29(34) | Speed 30ft | AC 18, touch 12, FF 16 | Init +2 | Fort +3 : Ref +6 : Will +11 | Percep +7, stealth +8 | Active conditions: con -3, mage armor

Hey Him you're still that wounded? didn't Merry heal you?
