It's an early afternoon and Alledueces walks into the pike and tankard lute in hand and a pack on his back.

Hey Vasaro, we finally finished up with that small fishing boat that we've been working on. The foreman gave us the rest of the day off and I figured what better way to spend the rest of the day then to finish off that song I've been working on. Can I get an ale please.

Alledueces pulls a high stool up next to a small table in the corner and sets out some sheet music paper, an ink pot, and a couple quills. He climbs up into his chair and starts tuning his lute and looks around at the other patrons in the nearly empty barroom.

I see your "dot's" and raise you a role play...

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Vasaro nods at Alledueces as he enters. He had always looked at the halfling as an extended part of his family. The son that he had lost so many years ago. While the memory of losing his son and wife still pained him seeing Alledueces brought a quiet joy that he cherished.

"Finally finished that boat? Took you long enough I bet Felton is going to sail it himself to the customer. I still don't know how Felton was able to get darkwood to build that vessel. A fishing boat at that!" he pours the drink and passes it to Basila who smiles at Alledueces as sets his parchment and quill down on the table.

Placing the tankard of ale on the table before Alledueces, "I do hope your song is finished tonight, Alledueces. It seems like it will be a slow one and your songs always make the night go that much quicker. This song better not be about that girl Jacinta I keep seeing you eyeing. You know she is spoken for!"

The demure warrior woman enters the Pike and Tankard alone shortly after Alledueces arrives. Amigail offers a quick wave to Vasaro and the barest of nods to acknowledge the halfling bard. It's very, very rare for the young lady to visit the tavern during the day, and instead of heading for her customary seat along the bar she moves to a corner table for four and seats herself, positioning her buckler in the chair on her left.

When Basila comes to take her order, Ami asks for a pitcher of water and explains that she'll be meeting two others for a late lunch. She then tells Vasaro's daughter that she's thinking of joining the town watch and has invited a pair of watchmen for a meal to quiz them a bit about the job's pay, probably non-existent perks, dangers, and other considerations.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

"A late lunch! It's almost supper time Ami!" Basila laughs and shakes her head teasingly at her new found friend. "So you have your eyes set on the watch? You know the tales around the Shipyards are people have gone missing. Who knows if they are true or not but it's best to be careful."

From the bar Vasaro calls out in a serious tone, "Amigail a boy came through here earlier today and entrusted me with a letter for you. I didn't know you took up resident here now." Before Amigail can say anything he gives her a wide grin. "I'm only jesting with you Amigail, but the letter did come through. Bassie give this letter to Amigail please. The boy must have run from far he was out of breath when he gave it to me."

Basila crosses the taproom and takes the letter from her father as well as the pitcher of water. She brings both back to the table and places them in front of Amigail.

"I'll go see about getting your food ready now, Ami."

Letter for Amigail:
Dearest daughter forgive me for sending this to my old friend's inn and not directly to you, but I have learned something and wanted to make sure that none suspected anything.

I am to visit Pharasma's Pulpit at the end of this month. I overheard the guards speaking about it one night when they thought me sleeping. I need you to seek out Barrister Dalmone. Tell him you are my daughter he will know what to do if anything can be done to stay me from the executioner's ax.

Amigail thanks Basila for both the latter and the water. The look of curiosity on her face as she opens the letter drains away as she reads the missive, as does the color from her face. The young woman stands up, reaches for her buckler, pauses, sits back down, re-reads the letter, and then shakily pours herself a tankard of water that she swiftly drains.

Lothenlieth paused before entering the inn. He had been a completely different person the last time he'd set foot in here. Part of him didn't want to go in, thinking he might place others in danger, but the truth was that he didn't have anywhere else to go.

He walked in;. Alldeuces and Amigail, two of the other regulars, were already there, though Amigail looked like she'd just received quite a shock. Lothenlieth headed to his usual table, waving toward Vasaro with some forced enthusiasm. He did smile genuinely at Basila...he always did. He waited for her to come get his order.

Amigail:
19 days are left in the month. You could probably find Barrister Dalmone in the Abbey Green district of Cassomir. You've never heard his name until now.

"Amigail...Amigail?" you hear Vasaro calling out to you from behind the bar. Basila has her head sticking out the from the door leading into the kitchen.

I know it was great... I never thought I would see that much Darkwood in one place let alone be allowed to help work it. True all my work is in the tight places between the main deck and the holds... but still I know that it's there and that I did a quality job.

At hearing Jacinta's name Alledueces' face turns beet red...

I never have... I mean I never would... I mean... it's not my fault she wears those pretty skirts... and you've seen her dance. Besides I'm smart enough to not write a song about her... Thuis song is about... um... it's about...

Alledueces looks around the room in a slightly panicked manner and spots Amigail talking to Vasaro.

It's about Amigail... yeah, that's it definitely about Amigail not Jacinta.

As Basilla goes to wait on Amigail, as soon as he thinks Basilla isn't paying attention Alledueces attacks his manuscript hastily making changes....

"Alledueces, is anything wrong?" You hear a voice come from the doorway, as a middle aged half orc with his hair balding and greying limp into the tavern. On hearing Alledueces reply, he nods, "Oh, you don't need to feel shy about singing about people in front of you. Amigail is a good woman, worthy of the best song," and beams at Amigail.

He limps over to her table. "I'm Bahram. Herbalist next door." He holds out his hand for her to shake. "I haven't thanked you yet for looking out for my little Bassie. I worry about people being mean to her, but I can't be keeping an eye on her all the time. She's all grown up now." He notices her worried expression, "Any friend of Bassie is a friend of mine. If there's anything I can help with, I will." He then takes a seat near Alledueces to watch him perform.

"Varaso, I'm paying for food and drinks for Amigail and her watchman guests. An apple cider for me."

A young elf enters the Pike and Tankard, carrying a masterwork longsword and a darkwood shortbow. He has the tanned skin of long days in direct sunlight, and walks with the lilting side-to-side motion of a sailor just docked from many days underway. He wears no armor - but has a slave's ring around his neck. The skin beneath is calloused, clearly indicating he has worn it for many years.

After taking a couple of steps in to the common room, the elf looks around and catches sight of the stuffed gnoll Vasaro keeps... Not knowing that it is only a prop, he yelps and makes a punching gesture in the air towards the thing. Those paying attention could actually see the force moving from his fist towards the stuffed form. But if you missed seeing the magical force, you would surely notice the stuffed gnoll being knocked back several inches...

In the sudden silence that ensued, Vasaro emerged from behind the bar and yelled, "What the...Lanarial? My gods, lad, is it you?!?" His wide smile and their bear hug showed the bond these two shared, and Vasaro's laughter at the elf's attack on an inanimate object slowly brings the conversation back in the tavern.

"Vasaro, my old friend! I heard you had set up in Casomir, and I booked a working passage on the first ship I found. How have you been? What have you been doing in the years since we were freed from that thing's camp?" he asks, nodding at the gnoll. "I learned many skills, and escaped most of the nightmares, at sea these past years. Do you remember the way I could make things move, and how I broke our chains that night? I developed these arcane talents and learned how to use them aboard that merchant vessel. My ability to affect the wind and save the occasional unfortunate sailor who fell from the riggings were valued by the captain, and most of the crew. But I am here now, to see you and catch up for a while."

Nihlune sat quietly at a table against the wall, occupying the same spot she had been for the past... how long has she been here? She peeked into the tea pot in front of her. Probably just shy of an hour. She watched as the other patrons came in, only vaguely recognizing the faces of a couple of Vasaro's regulars. Bahram she did know much better and she offered him a wave if he so happened to look her way.

It wasn't that she was shy, she just never knew what to say to these city types of folk. Much of her life was spent in her own company or chatting about the migration patterns of the animals through the forest with the rangers who occasionally passed through her spec of land. Idle small talk wasn't her forte. Though Bahram and her at least had considerable overlap in interest.

Go say hello. Just do it. Maybe he'll introduce you to someone, she thought to herself. Internally she battled with the idea, though it was obvious what side won. She remained firmly planted in her chair, chastising herself silently.

Amigail heard her name spoken...twice. She was just standing up when a stranger--a half-orc--mentioned that she was 'a good woman.' Then she saw who the stranger was speaking to: Alledueces. What was that little scamp up to now?

When Bahram introduced himself, Amigail wondered how he knew her name...and then the fellow explained that he'd seen the little incident involving Basila and a drunken groper several nights earlier.

Amigail shook the half-orc's proffered hand firmly and introduced herself. "Amigail." He already knows your first name, silly! "Trentwell," the girl continued. "At your service," she concluded awkwardly. "Please excuse me--Vasaro is calling me."

By the time she reached the bar, though, Vasaro was warmly greeting an old friend, apparently: a tanned elf by the name of Lanarial, if she'd caught it correctly. Ami stepped off to the side and politely waited for the old friends to renew their acquaintance, clutching the letter in a deathgrip.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Vasaro steps back and gives Lanarial a long look up and down finally shaking his head in disbelief. "You still wear that hideous collar about your neck? And still you are skinny as ever...worse you have not aged a day since we parted ways! By Aroden's will it has been near twenty years...eighteen to be exact. If I had the blood of your kind I would not be worrying about my ailing knee or my graying hair"

He looks past Lanarial and catches Amigail standing off to the side clearly agitated. "We have much to catch up on, Lanarial. Come meet my daughter. Basila come introduce yourself to Lanarial. It was by this elf's own power that your father stands here. He was my salvation many a night in the clutches of those of yapping dogs. Find him something to drink. A moment old friend." he moves over to Amigail while Basila greets Lanarial and takes him to a seat at the bar.

"What is it Amigail? You look like you need to tell me something right now? Are you worried over working for the watch? Don't listen to Bassie she's just worried for you."

At Amigail's table
Bahram returns a firm handshake. You notice that he smells of crushed herbs. "It should be me in your debt for your helpimg Bassie." He gives her a genial smile as she excuses herself to look for Varaso.

On his way back to his table near Alledueces

Bahram spots Nhilune waving at him. "Ah there you are, Nhilune! Have you decided to give up the forest for the soft beds and fine foods of the city?" His eyes crinkling with amusement, being a long standing joke between them both, and his usual greeting to her. "Come. I must introduce you to my student. Very smart he is." He all but nearly drags Nhilune out of her chair in his enthusiasm. Finally, a chance for Alledueces and Nhilune to meet each other! Maybe she could teach him what he could not...

He introduces the pair. "Alledueces, this is Nhilune. She comes from the Verudan forest and is a little shy. She's my best supplier and knows a lot about plants. More then I do." He turns to Nhilune and continues, "Nhilune, this is my student, Alledueces. He is very clever. He learnt in a day the properties of the cat's claw, elderberries and verbena, when it took me three, " he announces proudly.

Lanarial, I'll get to you shortly, just need to wait till Nhilune and Alledueces get acquainted first =)

Lanarial greets Basila warmly, a new respect for his old friend clear in his expression. He asks the basic questions, but doesn't keep her long for there are other patrons here and he is but the newcomer.

As he waits for the drink and a light meal to arrive, the elf looks about the common room of the tavern, taking in the plain but solid furniture, and the plain but solid people on it. Another elf, a human female, a half-orc, a halfling, and an eerily attractive woman with mismatched eyes...

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Basila
Seeing Lothenlieth patiently waiting Basila smiles but takes her time getting to him. After smiling and greeting everyone once again she makes her way to him. She gives Lothenlieth a big smile.

"Good evening Lothenlieth. Sorry about the wait all the confusion I missed you. Hey weren't you telling me you were going to be out at sea for a couple more weeks after visiting your folks? How was your visit? It must be a wonder to see your folks. I imagine where you are from it looks nothing like Cassomir? Look at me not even giving you a moment to speak. Sorry. What can I get you?"

Vasaro
Vasaro takes the letter from Amigail and starts to read it. After he reads it he looks at Amigail and then reads it again. His face reveals very little after the second reading. Moving closer to Amigail he lowers his voice.

Amigail:
"I know who your father is speaking about. Adrigar Dalmone is an old acquaintance of mine. And not one that I am particularly fond of. But he is good at what he does and your father needs someone with Dalmone's connections.

I doubt he'll see you without an actual appointment and that could take weeks. Let me send a message to him. Just so you know Dalmone does not come cheap. Have a seat and wait for your friends from the watch. I'll let you know when I have heard something."

Vasaro puts a hand on Amigail's shoulder and reassures her. "It will be alright Amigail. Have a seat I'm sure your friends will be here soon."

This will show you Basilla... I can change a song if social demands dictate it.

Perform(sing): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
The lyrics might be hastil written but the delivery is solid.
Perform(string): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17

Some Lyrics written in a hasty fashion:

She is a real Pal...

our friend Amigail...

All should Hail ...

our friend Amigail...

She's never been to Jail

our friend Amigail...

and she never will fail...

Never lose your trail...

our friend Amigail...

So just set sail...

With our friend Amigail...

Anyone looking at Amigail while Alledueces performs his song can tell that the young woman is neither used to nor enjoys being the center of attention. Her reaction to the song is, in fact, rather comical. She blushes, her mouth drops open, she fidgets in her seat, and she constantly averts her eyes from those gathered (especially noticeable at the 'never been to jail' lyrics).

At the end of the song, the flustered woman claps hastily, pours herself some more water, and stares at the tabletop before her as she gulps the liquid down.

"Well done Dueces but not one of your best works. Best keep writing about Jacinta if you expect to woe her off feet!" a chuckling Basila shouts over to Alledueces from Lothenlieth's table following the performance.

While Alledueces plays you see Vasaro head for the door leading outside. Just as he is leaving two members of the Cassomir constabulary walk in."Bassie. There are other customers see to them. I'll be back shortly."

Dressed in similar fashion they wear knee high polished black boots with a pair of pants dyed a faded forest green that have been tucked into their boots. A plain white long sleeved shirt is worn under a short sleeved blue jacket. On the left side of the jacket the crest of Taldor is displayed for all to see – the crown of the Primogeniture empire with a white lion underneath the it both atop an equally divided blue and green background. They each carry a spear and a falcata at their side. One man looks older than the other one but both share a clean shaven face. The younger man points Amigail's way and they both head there. The older man scans the room and seeing Basila calls out to her.

"Two ales and whatever you have cooking in the back, girl." With that they sit themselves at Amigail's table.

Dear lord, get busy on a Friday and comeback to a regular flood of posts!

Nhilune squawked as Bahram grabbed her with enthusiasm to drag her over to the short little halfling at a more center table.

"Er.... Uh, no, no. Of course not," she stammered out, sounding rather lame in her flustered state.

"A student? I didn't know you were teach---" Where Nhilune faltered in her ability to converse casually, Bahram seemed to be picking up the slack.

"A quick study. He sounds like he---" Again, before she could finish more things were happening. This was the problem with city folk: they never slowed down.

The halfling cleared his throat and called the attention of the room and began belting out a song with simplistic lyrics, clearly not shy about his performance in the least. For all her own shyness, she could only be thankful she was not the subject of that song. This Amigail looked like she might turn redder than a beat.

Thinking it would probably seem rude to simply return to her own table, Nhilune falls in step with Bahram, standing just behind him as he flits about the bar chatting with the clientele. I'm going to need a stronger tea...

Lanarial looks up at the half-orc, clearly not recognizing him. As Bahram talks to him about that night, though, Lanarial slowly begins to recall the man. They recount the events after the rescue, Bahram allowing the elf to steer clear of memories of his enslavement.

Lanraial recounts his years at sea aboard a sailing merchant vessel, learning the ropes (as it were) and developing some innate magical talents. Lanarial's ability to transmute the world around him had some definite benefits at sea. He demonstrated one such spell, mage hand, moving the items on his table about with the magical energy instead of using his hands.

He asked the half-orc to tell his story since the rescue, and listens attentively. After about 30 minutes of talking, the two seem to have caught up on the key facts about each other. Then they turn their conversation towards Vasaro and Basila, and the tragic tale of his wife's and son's death.

On his way to Lanarial's table

"Well, he came together with Bassie to my shop play when he was just a wee lil bit. And boy did he ask so many questions about all the things in my shop. So I taught him what I could, and was hoping that I could find a way to bring you two together so you could fill in the gaps. He's really handy with his hands and helps me keep my wooden cabinets in good shape!" Bahram proudly brags about Alledueces good qualities.

At Lanarial's table
Bahram is slightly pensive as he recounts what he can of the rescue. For the first time in many years, he wonders how his life might have been different had things not happened the way they did. At least some good had come out of it, having given people a chance to start their life anew, free from chains and he was still doing good work in Cassomir. He watches in wonder as Lanarial demonstrate his innate magical talent.

He looks visibly pained as he speaks regretfully of his failure to save Vasaro's wife and son, as he watched them slip out of his hands.

Vasaro

Vasaro comes back in a little while later from the street. Seeing Amigail with the two men he heads for Lanarial's table and begins to listen as his two old friends recount their past. They notice he is unusually quiet adding very little to the conversation. As they near the first part of the conversation Vasaro pipes up. "Let me go check about your food and get Basila to bring you over some more drinks. To see the three of us here after all that has occurred it leaves grateful that we can still talk about it. So many died at those dogs cruel hands." He slams his fists on the table at this last comment such anger in his eyes. The sound is loud enough that those in the taproom quickly look up. Feeling the eyes of the room on him he leaves the table and as he heads into the kitchen. "Basila another round for Bahram and Lanarial please daughter. Mind the room I'll be readying the food."

Basila
Basila smiles at Lothenlieth, "Grateful? I cannot imagine why. If this place brings you so much joy then I know father and I are happy that you are here. I love the stories you bring to me of the seas you have such a magnificent way of retelling them to me. Like I was there experiencing with you from your own eyes.

Tonight is a good night to think on things. The room is quiet so you should be have much time to figure out whatever ails you. I'll bring you that whiskey and maybe towards the end of the night you can tell me the solution to your problem." Basila gently puts a hand on Lothenlieth's arm as she walks to the bar to get his drink. She quickly pours it and returns with his drink just as one of Amigail's companions bark out an order for drinks and food. "Here you go, Lothenlieth. We'll speak again later I hope." she runs off to the bar.

At Amigail's table
The older of the two looks squarely at Amigail."Lots of questions but we need to ask you one first. What's this about your father being in Swift? Give us the truth of it now it will come out regardless."

Amigail sighs and then relates the true tale of the fight that got her kicked out of the navy and her father's subsequent fatal confrontation with the young man's father. Since she wasn't present at the second fight, she doesn't know for certain what transpired, but believes her father's version that the fatal battle of blades was joined by mutual agreement.

The older man listens to the story intently while the younger man seems to show more interest in Basila as she moves about the taproom. After you finish retelling your version of the story Vasaro and heads over to the table where Bahram and the elven fellow, who he embraced earlier, are seated.

"Well Liam what do you think of her tale?" the older man asks his companion.

"Hmmm very nice...I might need to come back here sooner and... err sorry Hifflo what were you saying?"

"Get your thoughts out of your pants. We're here on business. What do you think?"

"What's it matter?" he continues to stare Basila's way taking in the view with great satisfaction

"She'll be falling into your unit. She needs to replace Calrun."

At hearing this Liam's attention immediately returns to the table. "What?" He gives Amigail a cursory look and then looks at Hifflo.

The older man continues now that he has Liam's attention "Yes the captain has said this recruit is to be yours. You're a man down during the night patrol."

"This ain't..." Before Liam can finish a loud SLAM echoes through the taproom coming from the table where Vasaro is sitting. All eyes fall Vasaro who complexion is now more scarlet. He stands slowly and then begins to head for the kitchen. "This something we should be looking into, Hifflo?"

"It's his establishment and no blood was shed doesn't concern us. Back to the recruit now. You willing to take her. You got a need after all."

"I'll need to corroborate her story first. Father and daughter both dismissed from the navy for assaulting another shipmate. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth. Working night will probably be best for her anyway, be harder for anyone to see that she's a woman."

"In answer to your questions. What we like most differs with everyone. For some it's a decent living. Others its good knowing they are keeping their city safe from the riff raff that docks here occasionally. As for training if you can take orders and know how to defend yourself then you should be good."

"Yeah IF you can take orders. That has yet to be proven. I don't take any insubordination on units. If the captain says you are with me then you better be ready to be worked and learn to love it." Liam interjects.

"Any other questions? Hifflo finishes off.

Amigail's a bit distracted by Vasaro's show of anger and isn't paying full attention to the two watchmen.

"Yes...ah, no--no questions," the young woman babbles, her thoughts elsewhere. "I have some family business to take care of before I can join," Ami continues. "Hopefully won't take more than 2 or 3 days, but I'll let you know if it does." Turning to face Liam, she adds, "That should give you time to check into any doubts you may have about my character."

"As long as it doesn't involve stabbing another man that should give me enough time. You frequent this inn? I'll have a message sent here for you if so about our next meeting. You'll take care of the meal and drink. Come Hifflo. The sun looks ready to set and I need to make sure the units are ready for their patrol." Liam stands and heads to the bar stopping briefly to say something to Basila. Whatever the comment she turns away from him clearly irritated and heads to see her father in the kitchen.

Hifflo nods a thanks to Amigail and puts some coin on the table to cover some of the food and drink. "He's a hard one to like but he does well by those in his unit. In case that mattered any to you. I'll report to the captain that you have my support. Liam has final say though. A good night to you Amigail Trentwell. Best not stay out too long times have been weird at night as of late." With that he grabs Liam and leaves the inn.

Nhilune nods along with Bahram as he continues to explain the halfling's finer qualities. She'd given up trying to get any words in edgewise and simply let herself get swept up by all the ongoings in the inn. Snippets of conversation drifted through her ears from the various tables. It seemed Basila and Vasaro were quite popular among the locals. It was no surprise to her; they were good people.

Of course she nearly jumped right out of her skin when Vasaro's hand came slamming down on the table. Things were so quiet back home that the loud sounds of the city nearly always gave her a start.

Ami nods at Hifflo, giving him a soft but genuine smile. She then scoops up the coins the man left on the table and takes them to the bar to pay the tab for the meal.

When she gets a chance, she asks Basila what Liam--her potential superior in the guard--said that so upset her. Next, she tries to speak with Vasaro to discover what angered the tavernkeeper.

When Amigail talks to Basila
Basila looks at Amigail and shakes her head. "Don't worry about that lout Ami. He's tame compared to some people we have met. Stay awhile Alledueces is playing some of his best music tonight. He even dedicated a song to you! That little wharf rat he thinks he is smart but I know he's been eyeing Jacinta. By the way what were you and my father talking about awhile ago?"

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Alledueces:
You had heard a rumor of Amigail's father and now it seems like it is true. He's an inmate in Swift Jail and might lend to the reason at Amigail's reaction to the section of your song where you mentioned jail. You've also noticed that the elf by the table who Amigail spoke to at length seems to be watching her every now and again.

Amigail's a bit leery about telling Basila about her father's predicament. Bassie's a nice person and wouldn't intentionally tell anyone about the grim situation, but...she's still a tavern wench and they tend to be talkative and gossipy. After getting the girl to swear an oath of secrecy, Ami shows her the letter from her father.

Bahram notices Hifflo looking at Basila, and he keeps a jaundiced eye out on him. If that Hifflo guy comes to my shop, he'd better watch out. When Varaso slams the table, he does not jump, though it catches his attention.

"Nilhune, relax. You're in the city, among friends. None of us would let them hurt you. We're just noisy in the city. Not exactly a bad thing, just different." He tries to calm her down. "Though the part about people dissappearing at night..I don't know, Nilhune. There are things happening in the city, not all of them good," he mutters.

Bahram gets a pot of chamomile tea and two cups, and brings Nilhune to Alledueces. He pours a cup for himself and Nilhune. Maybe they could all drink tea and relax...or maybe he could speak to his best ears around the city and then they'd REALLY need that pot of tea.

After Vasaro and Bahram left his table, Lanarial went back to watching the crowd in the tavern. His mind was on the past, so he saw what was happening but was not paying attention to any other conversation in particular. Being the newest arrival and only really knowing Vasaro, he was content to listen to the surprisingly talented Halfling bard and sip his grog.

Alledueces looks at the mostly finshed ale on his table and in a single gulp finishes it up. Alledueces jumps off his high stool and pulls up a chair at the table with Bahram and Nihlune...

So Nhilune how did you meet Bahram...

Jast as she is about to answer... you know the Tea seems like a good idea... seems to be something going on around here tonight... best to keep ones head clear.

He calls to Basilla... Bass when you get a second could you bring us another pot of tea and another cup as well please... no hurry mind you...

He looks back to Nhilune... my apologies... please continue...

Just as Nhilune is about to speak Alledueces stops her and calls to Basilla again.. Oh... and a little stew if you would be so kind.

...did either of you want stew? Just as Nhilune is about to answer Alledueces cuts her off again... You know what you have to try it... You will love it.

Turning to Basilla again... Basilla... could you bring some stew for the whole table please?

Alledueces puts his head down and says in a low whisper... I wonder if Amigail is doing okay... I was in such a hurry fixing... er... finishing my song I didn't realize that I might have hit a little too close to home to her fathers predicament.

Hope you don't mind the liberties Nhilune... just feels like the kind of thing that happens to your character.
