Hello all! I will be hosting a Deathwatch game. I require that you post at least once a day and if you do not post for at least 3 days without a legitimate excuse then I will remove you and find another player. Please be friendly and respectful as well.

Background:

In the face of war, muderous xenos, the vengeful agents of Chaos, and many other threats of the Jeicho Reach, the true purpose of the Achilles Crusade is sometimes lost. The crusade first and foremost is an attempt to bring the Reach back under Imperial control. At present the crusade is far from self sustaining. Troops and other supplies and virtually every component of the trident assault must flow through the warp gate, secretly siphoned from Segmentum Obscurus. The Cursades masters recognise that sooner or later either the resources or the secrecy that sustains their lifeline will give out so establishing more fortresses and agricultural centres like the agri-world of Karlack is an important goal.
For this reason, the crusades leader have been eyeing the feral world of Aurum for decades. The Exceptionally fertile planet would make a fine addition to the crusades woefully small portfilio of pacified worlds. Because the crusade is fighting on many fronts the Imperium would much rather peacefully annex it without turning it into another war zone.

The Crusade has tried tactic after tactic to negotiate with the stubborn and prideful native feral worlders, but the natives have lukewarm at best. Relations have suddenly grown even more strained as the bodies of both natives and imperial missionaries have been found picked clean of flesh with an efficiency far surpassing any natural predator. Auran authorities have refused to cooperate with the imperials on-planet to investigate the killings, and many imperials have begun to wonder if their lack of cooperation marks something more sinister than pride. Even more straining tensions when a member of the Adepta Sorotias was found dead under mysterious circumstance. You must not only determine if the Auran harbors a deadly alien but you must represent the Emperor's Finest to the warrior culture.

Character Creation Guidelines::

You will be using a point allocation system to generate your characteristics. This can be found on page 26 of the core rule book.
You will have 1,000 starting xp
All chapters are allowed, and if you do so desire you may create your own chapter for your character however I expect it to be very intricate and detailed in terms of background.
You will also start out with 4 fate points.
You are allowed any specialties however if you pick heavy I'm less likely to pick you because I feel that they are a little over the top overpowered and I'd like a team that has to face hard challenges.

I will allow supplement material on a case by case basis, however you may not use any Mk armor set different from Mk 7, remembering everyone's diverse armor rules and everything distracts from the play of the game.

@DuksisDarker- Definitely using the first printing. As far as the space sharks chapter I might have to say negative unless you can provide me a link on their info. Um, your characteristics are a little off too. Your strength is 40 making the bonus 4 and doubled thats 8 not 10

Deathwatch core, armor pg 161. Enhanced strength: increase the battlebrothers strength by +20. The effect on strength bonus is calculated after the unnatural strength modifier.

I don't have a link to their stats, but they are presented in the "honour the chapter" supplement. Regardlless i will adjust for a librarian of the storm wardens.


Don't have the most experience in W40k, but I'm always willing to give it a shot. Settled on making a Techmarine of the Salamander Chapter. Stats carried over pretty well to Mythweavers, give or take a few hiccups. I think I got all the crunch worked out. Fluff is up next.
