The Shadows of the Past group will be:
Here is the The Shadows of the Past Discussion Thread.
The second group will be chosen as per the original deadline, but as most of these folks are ready to go, I see no need to wait for them to start.
You are a braver man than I am. Sorry Pavro. Apparently having the two of us in the same group would have cranked the hilarity up too high. ;) Good luck.
She sees what Krojun is trying to do and hits on an idea.
"Hey, I know what'll cheer ye up! I can tell ye about the time one of my cousins climbed a tree under guard by an little fey swordswoman."
She grins just remembering the string of creative curses uttered that day.
I assume their love was too pure for our twisted tyrant of a DM ;) Alas. Either that or he was just anxious to see a man on birdman bromance ;) It will certainly be less exhausting to play Pavro in team sausage fest, look out NPCs!
I'm pretty confident you guys will be adventuring soon, only sad I won't be able to follow your antics for fear of spoilers :(
Avian: And you haven't even met Aressa yet...
Grats on groups 1!
Still hope for group two!
"I remember fey...but I was young then. Now I grow a garden and make magic. Maybe I will find Sera again someday so I can show her." She looks sad at first, then looks hopefull.
edited at least one spelling mistake, no computer right now and my phone doesn't have spell checker (why not? Those stupid programmers! Except me of course :D)

Well my crunch is finished, just need to finish linking and adding reference notes, and expand my BG a bit. Wondering if Ii should change the name to Jones or Indiana, though, She uses the whip like he does after all.
She places a beautifully illustrated card depicting a bard on the table, "Shiala" and exciting 8 bit music begins to play from the card.
Here is what Averin looks like under the hood. I'm debating still whether his second language should be Infernal or one of the other local languages, to show that he is putting forth effort to learn about them. On the other hand, Infernal does seem somewhat appropriate, since he may not be interested in dealing with devils, the group he is interested in is.
Class: Fighter 1
Size: 5'8” 180lbs
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Languages: Common, Infernal
Occupation: Caravan Guard
When he was old enough, Averin decided to join the Gendarmes, as lawless as they might be, they were still better than piracy. He began training with an old adventurer with a cruel streak: they trained with real swords, and Averin got cut when he did something wrong. Somewhere during his training, he abandoned the sword, deciding a halbert was more to his liking, he kept the sword though, as a backup.
Averin was scrupulously honest in a decidedly unscrupulous group after he was accepted into the Gendarmes. He was resolved to patrol the streets, and keep them as safe as he could, though his comrades grew suspicious over time. They believed that he would turn on them, for whatever reason, Averin never figured out who he was supposed to be intending to sell them out too, but all the same, he was dismissed from the organization. Ironically enough, it wasn't until he was kicked out of the Gendarmes that Averin realized how far gone his hometown was. In that moment he resolved to become a Hellknight, planning to one day bring them to Riddleport, and having justice reign in the pirate town. He came to Sandpoint as a caravan guard, after hearing stories of the Sandpoint Devil, he intended to find it and slay it, believing that finding and slaying abberations from all around would help him to pass the trial of the Hellknights.
Averin isn't concerned with the politics behind the Order of the Nail, or about Imperial Cheliax and their arrangement with Hell. His only interest is to put an end to savagery in Varisia, whether it is among the barbarian tribes, or in the streets of Riddleport. His worship of Abadar taught him that Asmodeus is no more or less worthy of Veneration than Iomedae, he just isn't overly interested in the trappings of diabolism. He has been known, however, to make the joke that ends with "But in Imperial Cheliax, devils serve you!"

Liara takes another glance around for Ameiko and seeing she still hasn't returned from whatever errend she is on, turns back to the table.
"So you two know each other? I's always so cool to unexpectedly meet old friends. So what brings you two here?"
She looks over the two curiously, hoping to get more of a response then she's had all day.
Hi Rohan...and you too Copper. Nishe to she you again.
She punch his arm That'sh for not shaying goodbye last time.
She then leans over to give Copper a kiss to the forehead And that'sh for keeping him shafe.
Magnhildr frowns before pointing a thumb at Rohan and asking the newly arrived woman, "What's with him? Is he always like this."
She gives Noro a smile and holds out her hand.
"Name's Magnhildr Whitescale. Pleasure to meet ye."
I am unsure if this is to continue as a role-play thread or not but has happened many times in the past and as long as the DM has no objections I guess we can continue
Noro greets the newcomers to the Dragon.
first she greets Magnhlidr Noro is her simple response almost sizing her up weapon, armor, strong build, definately a warrior of some sort
She grasps Magnhlidr hand with a strong overly firm grip.
turning to the catfolk - Noredal? she repeats with a bit of an inquizical look on her face never met a cat that could talk the look on her face is definately of one that has never met a catfolk in her life (possibly never even knowing of their existance before.)
suddenly she comes back to the present. Noro greets Noredal Oh... Shorry, Namesh Noro, Jusht a simple Dock worker here in Shandpoint.
We had it going as one for a bit then the first group was announced and it died off. Personally, I'm kinda hoping that Noro and Magnhildr both get picked.
looking from Noro to Copperscale and back, Magnhildr looks thoughtful for a moment.
"I don't suppose either of ye two know how to cheer up this poor fellow? It ain't right for him to be this depressed all the time."
Ahhh ... I see some familiar faces here from the Rusty Dragon. Noro, Rohan (and of course Copper).
GM - hope I am not too late to the party - as you will see Talon is a charecter dedicated to this AP and with a sad but long history of false starts.
Would love to be a part of this, thanks for the consideration.
Barek shakes his head. "No way you'll find anything right now. Pop says the harbor is overflowing with goods for the festival. Everyone is getting their shipments in so they can sell during it." He pauses. "But check back after the festival. I'm sure there will be someone with some empty space. But you'll have to act quickly before they decide to rent it out again. Best bet would be 2 or 3 days after the festival, I think."
"What do you want to do with it again? A place to hit each other? Hell if I want to sign up for that."
Copper:"He's just a bit sore about losing. Doesn't take it too well. He'll get over it."
"Can't even win a stupid arm wrestling contest. But then again I also lost that boxing match against Adrien and that tournament round to what's his name. Guess I'm just a loser."
Rohan just looks into his cup before continuing his drinking.
Copper:"Though attention from a pretty girl like you helps too." That statement makes the summoner look up and blink at his friend.
Copper:"You think she's pretty right?" Rohan turns red though you're not sure if its from the booze or embarrassment as he returns to looking at the bottom of his mug. Copper starts giggling as he teases him.
She looks at Magnhildr with some pride, "I am a catfolk. The only one in the Stone of the Seers, too!" Then with a bit of sadness, "You're not likely to many around these parts for awhile, most of my pride was wiped out in an orc raid."
"Now I make things, some of them in the style of my people as rememberence." She pulls out some bracelets with a disdinct style.
@ Liara: "Yer of sterner than I, then. I can't imagine what'd be like to lose everyone in my family." Magnhildr keeps quiet for a moment, almost as in silent prayer, before she speaks again. "But this is no time for sadness. The Swallowtail Festival is upon us and there is merriment to be had!" She takes a look at the bracelet and says, almost slyly, "Everything tells a story, so what is the story behind this one?"
@ Rohan and Copperscale: "Life isn't always about contests of strength and might. If you mope over what could have been, then you miss the fun happening now."
She smiles trying to cheer Rohan up, but when he goes back to his she frowns and looks like she's about to take him outside and sober him up. Well, until Copper mentions she's pretty, and asks what Rohan thought of her. The annoyance she had been feeling evaporates in an instant as her cheeks turn bright pink from embarrassment. Her eyes seem to sparkle a little too.
"I think your friend needs a gag Rohan."
Note: Figured she'd be interested in other people rather than what other people think of her. Hence her being a little flustered tight now ;)
